Yes to the troubleshooting being fairgame, and you can also expect any
variation for scripting, I would recommend the advanced scripting training, or
practice some custom scenarios, the ones that IPExpert details are a good
measure of what to expect.

Be ready to troubleshoot not just the integration, but scripts,
configuration, etc.

Remember, technically everything is fair game on the blue print and
troubleshooting is back and bigger than ever.

Hi,

You have to enable it with the command bellow:

card type e1 0 2

and then configure the controller e1 0/2/0

[OSL | CCIE_Voice] V2 Lab 5 PSTN-WAN Router

2009-12-04 Thread Jefferson Wilson
Good afternoon.

I am working on V2 Lab 5 this afternoon and tomorrow evening. (EST)

I am getting secondary dial tone from the FR line when calling FR. The
call never makes the FR VGW.

The inbound UK calls don't go through but I will troubleshoot that
since they make the UK VGW.

US calls are working.

Was there a previous post on this I am still looking.

Are we allowed to change the PSTN-WAN router to get things to work?

Thank you,

Jefferson

Re: [OSL | CCIE_Voice] V2 Lab 5 PSTN-WAN Router

2009-12-04 Thread Jefferson Wilson
They are all MGCP VGW's

The second dial tone on the FR calls tells me that direct-inward-dial is
not enabled on the inbound FR VGW. Since it is a T1 and the VGW is
running MGCP would the follow still be needed?

Dial-peer voice 1 pots
Incoming called-number .
Direct-inward-dial

Apparently it does

Now I see traffic on the debug isdn q931.

I will take it from here. I can troubleshoot the rest.

My day started with an error PSTN-WAN router that support reloaded
twice. I assume there was still an issue.

So the take away is even with PRI/MGCP still add

Dial-peer voice 1 pots
Incoming called-number .
Direct-inward-dial

Just get in the habit of doing that. The lab said the VGW's were all
set. I guess one should always check.

Jefferson

[OSL | CCIE_Voice] V2 Lab 5 Transformation Patterns

2009-12-04 Thread Jefferson Wilson
I worked on V2 Lab 5 today and then went to look at the PG to review how
I did things.I am trying to figure out form PG57-58 how to have
911/999/112 calls send an calling number type of National while 1
question later a local call sends a calling type of Subscriber.

Both questions use 4xxx/pt-ani-hq-gw (HQ example) as an Calling
Transformation Pattern Match.

What am I not understanding?

Thanks! 11 months of hard work finally unveiled! The logins have changed to
your email address and not a username. There are a few issues outstanding
relating to file access, bit our web developer and support team will be working
all weekend to resolve this. I've copied them.

[OSL | CCIE_Voice] Our New Web Site

2009-12-04 Thread Marko Milivojevic
Hello everyone,

Some, if not most, of you have noticed that we have launched our new
web site at http://www.ipexpert.com/

Please, take few moments of your precious study time to take a look
around it. There are very detailed product descriptions, detailed
course schedules with locations (worldwide!), as well as great new
look.

There are also few great additions to our already great international
team of instructors.

We hope you enjoy it and that we remain trusty resource to each and
every one of you!

Best regards from IPexpert.

Hi,
I could not login too. I filled my email address in to the section "New
customer". I then can login to the site but there is no longer work books.
All my downloaded workbooks are now expired or can not be opened as an error
"The server answer is meaning less".
