Hi,

Is there any "tweak" to implement Ext Mobility Inter Cluster environment on

[OSL | CCIE_Voice] MoH not working for PSTN

2010-04-20 Thread Sam Wilson
Hi,

We have a working MoH for one site and when I tried to use similar
configuration for a different site, it seems something went missing.

oprtr02#sh ccm-manager music-on-hold
Current active multicast sessions : 1
Multicast RTP port Packets Call CodecIncoming
 Address number in/outid Interface
===
239.1.1.1 16384 0/0 562 g711ulaw

This is the config when a call is placed on hold, now usually we do see the
numbers incrementing on the Packets In/Out column however it seems that
there is no activity as its always 0/0.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Hi,

Yes we do, infact the show ephone summary shows that there is an err with
the file, though I have copied this file multiple times from working
routers and yet the err remains:

Max Conferences 8 with 0 active (4 allowed)
Skinny Music On Hold Status
Active MOH clients 0 (max 320), Media Clients 0, B-ACD Clients 0
File Allegro.ulaw.wav type INVALID Media_Payload_G711Ulaw64k 160 bytes

Then finally when I access any device connected to the ASYNC cable
I am able to connect but not unable to exit the session
I hit Ctrl + Shift + 6 + X many times by the Laptop keyboard and even by
On-Screen keyboard and still nothing is working well.
I have tried to do the following workaround
1-I have another 2509 which has a defective ASYNC Socket , I removed all
the Memories and stuff and put it in the other one and still get the same
results.
Your help would be highly appreciated.

Sorry hit the enter too fast last time and sent you the reply.

Since you mention you are using laptop keyboard, that must be the issue as
to enter or type ^ you have to know the correct combination of the keys
unlike the most desktop keyboards

Hope that helps

Re: [OSL | CCIE_Voice] LAN QoS on HWIC-4ESW

You will have to either trust the dscp marking done by the switch or you
will have to mark them again.

Please post your router configs and may be we can get a bit more detailed

Subject: [OSL | CCIE_Voice] LAN QoS on HWIC-4ESW

Hi All,

I'm wondering about QoS on remote site.

I just applied auto-qos between HQ and remote site, everything looks fine.

When I run this command on both routers, in remote site I can't see packets.

HQ
Class-map: AutoQoS-VoIP-RTP-Trust (match-any)
  11139 packets, 704260 bytes
5 minute offered rate 0 bps, drop rate 0 bps
  Match: ip dscp ef (46)
11139 packets, 704260 bytes
5 minute rate 0 bps
Priority: 47 kbps, burst bytes 1500, b/w exceed drops: 0

REMOTE
Class-map: AutoQoS-VoIP-RTP-Trust (match-any)
  0 packets, 0 bytes
5 minute offered rate 0 bps, drop rate 0 bps
  Match: ip dscp ef (46)
0 packets, 0 bytes
5 minute rate 0 bps
Priority: 47 kbps, burst bytes 1500, b/w exceed drops: 0

For remote site I don't use HWIC-4ESW (expensive) instead am using ports
from 3560 (same as HQ),
after I put the commands:

SW(config)#interface FastEthernet0/17
SW(config-if)#shut
SW(config-if)# mls qos trust device cisco-phone
SW(config-if)# mls qos trust cos
SW(config-if)#no shut

I started to see packets on policy-map.

Class-map: AutoQoS-VoIP-RTP-Trust (match-any)
  186 packets, 11904 bytes
5 minute offered rate 0 bps, drop rate 0 bps
  Match: ip dscp ef (46)
186 packets, 11904 bytes
5 minute rate 0 bps
Priority: 47 kbps, burst bytes 1500, b/w exceed drops: 0

How I'll mark the packets on remote site to hit the policy-map in the FR
link?

Thanks in advanced

Hi Sam,

I think I came across similar error message. You may want to adjust your
Voice-Sig class-map as following:
!
class-map match-any Voice-Sig
match ip dscp cs3 af31 <=== list them in the same line
class-map match-any Voice-RTP
 match ip dscp ef
