Hey,

While on a call , by pressing dtmf digits (including * ) , they are just
sent to receiving party using dtmf-relay mechanism.
Does anybody know to map * key to transfer softkey (in CUCM) so that
following requirement is met ?

Re: [OSL | CCIE_Voice] Unity Question

2010-07-28 Thread Pulos, Greg
I think you answered your own question in a way.

You say you want to setup a 'test' environment, and tie it to your 'production'
system. That alone is a bad practice.

Don't learn the hard way how bad it can get when you integrate 'test' systems
into your production environment.

Just my 2 cents!

Hello,

I'm building a testing environment that will run in parallel to an existing

configured with different IP addresses then the one in production. My concern
is with Unity , extending the schema in Active Directory, running the
permission wizard and integrating the new unity with the exchange in use by the
old Unity. Is it going to effect the Unity in production?

2009-11-20 Thread Kumar, Narinder
All,
Version 2 Lab 4 Question 4.1 create mail box for phone 2 at HQ and Br2 " You
must import these users from UCM". Importing users is not a problem, my
question is how can someone find out if these users were imported into unity
from the CUCM using AXL or manually added.

Is there any flag or tick somewhere in unity or CUCM that tells that the users
were imported ?

Thanks
Narinder

Right James. There is no such option in Unity 4.0(5) however here is what can
be done as a workaround (if you do this it will be "system wide" and not only
for one instance):

1. Create a custom prompt you want to be played instead of the standard
greeting ("Please wait while I transfer your call") and rename this to the name
of the original file "AvPhGreetENU005.WAV"

2. Copy this over the prompt you don't want to

[OSL | CCIE_Voice] Unity question

2008-09-21 Thread Kapil Atrish

Hi,

1) Is there any way in Unity to check the detailed call treatment other then
looking at the Port Status Monitor and Call Viewer? I want to check which Route
Handler (Direct Call or Forwarded Call) the call hit initially and step by step
flow from there onwards, if any option is available which can give detailed
analysis? I've observed Port Status monitor/Call viewer don't tell exact rule
name in certian scenarios.

2) Is there a way out I can create two mailboxes in Unity with same extension.
I tried adding a new Dialing domain but no success. Perhaps someone has done it
pl comment.

Thanks for your time..

[OSL | CCIE_Voice] Unity Question

2008-09-13 Thread Hardesty, Scott
All, I am testing to voicemail looping scenario and having troubles
finding the advanced setting for "unity to play a tone on answer". This
is supposed to prevent looping when ANI is lost. Unity plays the tone
and that is the signal that the call was looped and it drops. I think I
have the logic right but I cant find the parameter to change.. :)

Any help or direction would be appreciated!

Thanks.
