RE: Grouping Output Query Display

2004-09-28 Thread Pascal Peters
You will also need an order by in your query for the grouping to work
correctly. There was none in your original code, but maybe you didn't
send your original code:

cfquery datasource=#request.dsn# name=meetingAgenda
SELECT
 meeting_ID,month,date,time,year,comment,agenda
FROM
 meeting_agenda
ORDER BY month, date
/cfquery

 Perfect
I'd actually simplified it down and had it working (outside of using
 tables for layout)
 like so..

 cfoutput query=meetingAgenda group=month
h2#month#/h2
cfoutput group=date
h3#date#/h3
 cfoutput
#time# - #agenda#br /
 /cfoutput
 br /br /
/cfoutput
 /cfoutput

but you've kept it in tables for me with the correct display. The
alternating colours are no big deal, and I've sorted that one out
already.
 And lastly, thank you.

 adieu

Re: Possible Bug with Dates

Hi Paul.

I fixed it by simply removing the day comma part, but that is not
really the point as it is meant to accept it. I will report it to MM.

CFMX6.1 Updater on Windows 2k. I get exactly the same as you describe using
your code. Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday all blow up...

Interestingly though, if I set the day to Tues everything works... Wed
breaks but Wedn works... Thur works...

Interesting... I guess a Left(dayname, 4) should fix it for you :)

Uploading large audio files

2004-09-28 Thread luke freeman
I have a webform that allows users to upload large audio files to the server (40MB upwards) However I am now starting to realise that CFFILE is probably not the best way to go about it as it takes over and hour to get a file uploaded to the server. I have looked into using CFFTP but cant see a way in which I can manage the tag like I can with CFFILE For example I need to be able to do the following:

Grab the name of the uploaded file
Make Unique if file exists.

Can this be done in CFFTP and would this be any quicker for uploading large files? Does anyone have any other sugestions as to how I can create and easy system for uploading such big files via a web form??

How do I close the pop-up window - kindly help

2004-09-28 Thread cf coder
Hi Guys, I'm hoping someone can help me. I've tried everything but can't quiet nail this problem. I have this page that has a hyper-link. Clicking on the hyper-link opens up a pop-up window. The url looks something
like this:

window.open('attachment.cfm?promptUser=trueid=12345filename=testfile', 'Attachment', 'top=10,left=10,height=315,width=600,resizable=Yes,scrollbars=Yes');

You may have noticed I'm passing a url variable 'promptUser' with a default value of 'true'.

Here is the code in the pop-up window.

script language=_javascript_
function openAttachment(){
	window.location = cfoutput#cgi.SCRIPT_NAME#?FILENAME=#url.FILENAME#ID=#url.id#promptUser=false/cfoutput;
}

function cancelAttachment(){
	window.close();
}
/script

!--- if the url variable promptUser is true, display few instructions to help
the user to decide what he must be doing ---
cfif isDefined(url.promptUser) and promptUser eq true

table width=100% border=0 cellspacing=0 cellpadding=5
tr
	td
If you intend to modify an existing attachment, you must follow the below steps:
		br
		blah blah blah
	/td
/tr
tr
	td valign=top align=center
		img src="" id=okbutt name=okbutt border=0 alt=open attachment >
		br
	/td
	td valign=top align=center
		img src="" id=cancelbutt name=cancelbutt border=0 alt=close >
		br
	/td
/tr
/table
!--- if it is false, just open the attachment in its own application ---
cfelseif url.promptUser eq false

	cfset fName = url.filename
!--- Generates custom HTTP response headers to return to the client. ---
	CFHEADER NAME=Content-Type VALUE=application/unknown
	CFHEADER NAME=Content-Disposition VALUE=attachment; filename=#fName#
	CFCONTENT TYPE=application/unknown FILE=UploadFolder\#fName# deletefile=no

/cfif

I hope the above code is self-explainatory. If you notice, I'm setting 'promptUser' url variable to 'false' in the 'openAttachment' function. This opens up the file open/save dialog box.

Now then, this is where I'm stuck. I want to close the pop-up window when the 'promptUser' value is 'false', in other words when the user clicks on the 'okbutt' button. Can someone show me how to do this.

I would really appreciate your help
Best regards,

I'd suggest a system where users can enter their ftp details, and you have a
scheduled task that picks up all the new ones and fires off another request
to ftp them to your host.

JRE server folder

2004-09-28 Thread Robertson-Ravo, Neil (RX)
OK, here is one which I have searched on but haven't found a true
answer.

When you upgrade your JRE from the vanilla CFusionMX JRE there is no server
folder in the bin folder of the system (Sun Java).I have read that you
copy the existing server folder from the CFusioMX install to your new JRE -
why is this? What is this folder really for?If it is not included in new
java installs why is CF explicitly looking for it?

It also contains exactly the same files as the bin\client folder but the
jvm.dll is half the size than the CFusionMX\runtime\jre\bin\server\ JVM.dll

Also, why is CF also looking for a folder called JRE when out of the box a
new Java install does not include one?

Any help here mucho appreciato.

2004-09-28 Thread Pascal Peters
Not that easy to do, because once you changed the header, you can't
close the window in JS anymore. You could do one of the following, but
neither are perfect and you may have problems with security settings in
the browser.

function openAttachment(){

window.open(cfoutput#cgi.SCRIPT_NAME#?FILENAME=#url.FILENAME#ID=#url
.id#promptUser=false/cfoutput,'Download','top=10,left=10,height=0,wi
dth=0,resizable=1,scrollbars=0');
	window.close();
}

function openAttachment(){
	opener.location =
cfoutput#cgi.SCRIPT_NAME#?FILENAME=#url.FILENAME#ID=#url.id#promptU
ser=false/cfoutput;
	window.close();
}

Ah, I hadn't thought of that. While I don't know if we have php, probably not, it's an innovative solution.

Thanks and thanks for the link too.

I've never used this particular application, but if you also have PHP
support in your web instance, you may be able to use a PHP program to
manage your Oracle DB for use with CF.

Re: Database Management Tool

Sorry, let me be a bit more helpful.

You should get a new host because it seems like they are keeping you
out of the database for security issues.

I appreciate your sentiment and while I agree with the sentiment, it's not doable. It's the Universities hosting service and we're supposed to use it.

Any CF tool you can get to
manage an oracle database will need to run on an account that has mad
permissions. They are more likely to give you access via TOAD than to
grant you DBA privs so a web based tool will work.

I see.That's a more depressing thought.What are mad permissions?

Re: oracle timestamp java objects in query results,,, wtf?!

 Oddness.
We're using the MM drivers against 9i fine here (the
 roll-up updater is only
 in testing/staging atm), in a J2EE set-up.

This is 9i on Win2K server with the latest SP and patches, also
running CFMX Enterprise stand-alone (6.1 w/ updater) on the same
machine, so it's connecting to Oracle at ip address 127.0.0.1 ...
downloaded the latest drivers from the MM site separately from the red
sky updater also... Still getting frequent connection reset and no
more data errors, though they're infrequent enough for me to refresh
the browser and continue testing when they do occur. During CF testing
Oracle also tends to grab hold of 99% of system resources and hang
onto them while slowly consuming more memory (I just restart the
Oracle service in Windows). Fortunately this server doesn't need to be
production-stable as the code goes off to other servers in parts
unknown where the Oracle connection is stable.

Is your CF server behind a firewall and using NAT?If so, it may be issuing
a PORT command to the remote server with a non-routable IP address.

Just a thought.

You would need to compile those and put them in
 CFMX's classpath.
Doesn't sforce.com have a precompiled JAR of the

put that on the classpath. Either way, CFMX needs to

CF Application Design

2004-09-28 Thread Tangorre, Michael
I am interested in getting some feedback from people on the following:

Once you have gotten your requirements for a new application and the
modeling/architecture process ensues, what tools do you use to link
requirements to screens, processes, etc? I have been evaluating Adalon
as a tool to introduce into our development process for the purpose of
linking requirements to processes and screens but I assume other tools
and methods exist. In addition, how do you handle new requirements,
updating your models, etc? We currently have an ad-hoc approach and I am
looking into formalizing the process as this is an area where we waste a
lot of time... well not waste, but sure as hell are not as efficient as
we could be. For instance, we have many documents floating in numerous
folders that outline original requirements, new requirements, bugs,
processes, data dictionary, etc etc but to me, all these documents
floating around with next to no naming conventions is a waste. What
tools would you recommend looking into to help organize all the aspects
of the development process from requirements gathering and analysis to
ongoing maintenance and future development.

Thanks!

Randomising a query

2004-09-28 Thread James Smith
Is there any way to randomise a query result set?I was thinking of
adding...

SELECT rand() AS RandomColumn, OtherQueryFields, ...
FROM ...
WHERE ...
ORDER BY RandomColumn

to the query but am not sure if this will produce a good randomisation, it
doesn't need to be perfect, just good.

I am selecting about 800-900 records of which 400-800 will be used (don't
ask!) and I need to make sure that (on average) they are all used.

Re: Database Management Tool

2004-09-28 Thread jw
Are you at least allowed ssh shell access (likely the same
name/password as your ftp account)? If so you could use
portforwarding, this would allow you to access this database from
your local computer using one of the DB tools.I prefer DBVisualizer
http://www.minq.se/products/dbvis/ and it works well with anything
that has a jdbc connection.

If you are using windows and do not have a SSH client, I suggest putty

you are using OSX or linux it is built in.

Sorry, let me be a bit more helpful.

You should get a new host because it seems like they are keeping you
out of the database for security issues.

I appreciate your sentiment and while I agree with the sentiment,
it's not doable. It's the Universities hosting service and we're
supposed to use it.

Any CF tool you can get to
manage an oracle database will need to run on an account that has mad
permissions. They are more likely to give you access via TOAD than to
grant you DBA privs so a web based tool will work.

 I see.That's a more depressing thought.What are mad
permissions?

Database management requires complete authority over the databases to be

would have complete control over the databases in question.

Re: Randomising a query

2004-09-28 Thread Tony Weeg
you can always use...

select *
from myTable
order by newid()

that will select everything from that table (not recommended, but for
this purpose it will work)

the order by newid()
will create a new UUID for each row, and of course, but doing so, will make it
a random result set as those are VERY unique values.they wont too
random, as far as their value, since they are made as a combo of the
servers mac address and the time of day and some sort of algorith like
that, but at least it will work to give some random sets.

now about making sure all are used at least some of the time, thats a
whole 'notha topic.

We use TOAD with the same account used in CF (nowhere near DBA privs); this
would allow the same SQL in a web-based tool that is used in TOAD (and I've

My sentiment exactly. Although I'm curious as to what they are really
concerned about. They should be able to give you an account to create

To fix both problems, I just have to do a start/stop of the application service and all is better, the websites come up and the mail gets sent.

Anyone know what can be done about this?Does this make any sense?

cfservlet with cfmx

2004-09-28 Thread Gaulin, Mark
Hi
I'm migrating from cf 5 + jrun 3 to cfmx and am trying to get the jrun that cfmx is running to host a servlet. I was able to do that by adding the servlet to default-web.xml... the servlet starts. Now I'm tring to connect to that servlet using the cfservlet tag but it doesn't work.Turns out, cfservlet is deprecated in cfmx, although it can still connect to jrun3-hosted servlets no problem.

I see in the cfmx docs that they recommend using GetPageContext().include() to invoke the servlet, but it doesn't describe how to handle lots of cfservletparam type attributes. (Are you really just supposed to build a big url out of it?)

Better yet, does anybody know how to add jcpservices (jcp.endpoint.* stuff) in to jrun 4/cfmx?It feels like the jrun.xml ProxyService is sort of the same thing but it doesn't seem to work with cfservlet. Are there some tweaks to make it work?

Any help appreciated.

RE: ms to no longer supporting msjvm

2004-09-28 Thread Vince Bonfanti
No, it doesn't, since both CFMX and the Java editions of BlueDragon run on
Java VMs provided by Sun. It does raise an interesting point, however: Java
is basically a foreign technology layered on top Windows and developed by
a third-party (Sun) who hasn't always been on the friendliest of terms with
Microsoft.

Put another way, both CFMX and the Java versions of BlueDragon rely on Sun's
Java VM as their technology platform. Java is not supported or endorsed by
Microsoft in any way--in fact, Microsoft has been actively antagonistic to
Java and Sun. Worse, the use of Java as a technology platform for CFMX
requires reliance on other third parties for crucial pieces of
technology--such as the DataDirect JDBC drivers and the JIntegra software
for COM support.

Think about it: when deploying CFMX, you're relying first on Sun for the
Java VM, then on DataDirect for the JDBC drivers, and then on JIntegra for
COM support (if you need it), and only finally on Macromedia for the CFMX
application server. All of these are good companies with good technology,
but there are several layers of complexity here, none of which is supported
or endorsed by Microsoft.

Contrast this with BlueDragon.NET, which relies on the Microsoft .NET
Framework as it's underlying technology. The .NET Framework, of course, is
developed by Microsoft and is tightly integrated with Windows. Database
access (ADO.NET) and COM support are built-in natively to the .NET
Framework, so no need for additional third party software. So instead of the
Java-DataDirect-JIntegra-CFMX stack (none developed, endorsed or supported
by Microsoft!), you've got a much simpler .NET-BlueDragon stack on top of
which to run your CFML applications.

The best part is that BlueDragon.NET is certified and endorsed by Microsoft,
so you've got an entire stack that is either developed, supported, or
certified by the platform vendor:

http://www.microsoft.com/resources/casestudies/CaseStudy.asp?CaseStudyID=158
64

The point of all of this is: if you're running on Windows, using .NET makes
a lot more sense than using Java, which means that using BlueDragon.NET
makes a lot more sense than using CFMX (or the Java editions of BlueDragon).

The only reason to use Java on Windows is if you want your applications to
be portable to Linux, UNIX, or Mac OS X. If you only intend to deploy on
Windows, then you should use .NET instead of Java.

Subject: Randomising a query

Is there any way to randomise a query result set?I was thinking of
adding...

SELECT rand() AS RandomColumn, OtherQueryFields, ...
FROM ...
WHERE ...
ORDER BY RandomColumn

to the query but am not sure if this will produce a good randomisation, it
doesn't need to be perfect, just good.

I am selecting about 800-900 records of which 400-800 will be used (don't
ask!) and I need to make sure that (on average) they are all used.

Select Box / LIKE operator

2004-09-28 Thread Claremont, Timothy
I need to come up with a search function that will return a list of
matches for a given input.

The fields in question are FirstName and LastName.

I am not averse to having the search work simply on the last name. For
our purposes this is sufficient.

The backend database is Access, so I would like to know what my SQL
would look like in order to be most useful.

If the end user just enters e in the search box, I am not so sure that
I want every name that contains an 'e' to be returned Or do I???

What is the consensus on how to make something like this work best?

TIA,
Tim

Typically, I expect searches like that to have at least the first
letter in there, so I only do wildcards at the end of the string.

For example:

WHERE firstname like '#searchString#%'

(of course, you'd use cfqueryparam for this :) )

I've only had one app where the clients wanted a full wildcard search
('%#searchstring#%'), but they changed their minds after seeing it in
action (apparently they didn't believe me when I said it could return
far too many results).

Re: Web Service on CFMX 6.1/JRun suddenly not working

2004-09-28 Thread Scott Stroz
I was able to correct this issue, and since others seem to havehad a similar issue, I thought I would post my solution.

When I migrated the site to the new server, I wanted to keep it as similar as it was (cause everything was working). On the old server, I had a mapping to the root of my web directory for the site www.boyzoid.com.On the new server, I created a mapping and pointed it to the root directory for the iste.

When I tried to get the WSDL by going to http://www.boyzoid.com/threat.cfc?wsdl, I would get the Axis Error described earlier. The problem lied in the CF Mapping. There were several posts (I think on CF-Talk, as well as th MM forums) that discussed issues with CFMX/JRun issues when using web services and CF mappings.

My solution was to change the mapping to the web root from '/mapping name' to just' /' .This cleared up the issue with the web service, and now the WSDL appears as it should.

Put another way, for some people, portability across operating systems is an
overriding concern. For other people, platform integration, support,
reliability, performance, and scalability are overriding concerns, for which
they're willing to sacrifice portability.

I wouldn't argue that either .NET or Java is the right solution for all
people in all situations. You need to figure out what's important to you and
make your decisions accordingly. For some people, the right decision will be
Java, for others it'll be .NET.

Re: ms to no longer supporting msjvm

2004-09-28 Thread Adrocknaphobia
Think about it: when deploying CFMX, you're relying first on Sun for the
Java VM, then on DataDirect for the JDBC drivers, and then on JIntegra for
COM support (if you need it), and only finally on Macromedia for the CFMX
application server. All of these are good companies with good technology,
but there are several layers of complexity here, none of which is supported
or endorsed by Microsoft.

I don't mean to burst your little BlueDragon pitch, but what about the
problems that arise when you put all your eggs in one basket? I'd
rather rely on different companies for different parts of the
application, rather than just assume MS can do it better than anyone
else, which is rarely the case. I think the freedom to switch core
technologies like JVM and JDBCs as a positive thing.

What sort of benefits are thier in giving up the freedom to move platmforms?

To: CF-Talk [EMAIL PROTECTED]

Not so much a consensus as an ad hoc standard is that the 'e' would be the
first letter of the search string.Just be sure to notify users of the
functionality of your search engine.

Please enter in the first few letters of the last name of the person you
wish to find

You could also provide two radio buttons to allow them to search first or
last names.Anything could work as long as your UI provides enough
instruction for the user to follow.

RE: Web Service on CFMX 6.1/JRun suddenly not working

2004-09-28 Thread Ian Skinner
Any chance there is a new Application.cfm file on the new server?

I received that exact same error when I tried to write my first web service CFC a few weeks ago.It ended up that I was putting the cfc in my root which had an Application.cfm file that did a fair amount of processing. It turned out that the white space generated by the Application.cfm file was causing the WSDL to fail. When I moved the web service cfc to it own sub-directory with no Application.cfm file, all worked well.

RE: ms to no longer supporting msjvm

2004-09-28 Thread Vince Bonfanti
The major benefits to giving up portability are: platform integration and
performance. (I'd argue that you'll get better reliability and scalability,
but that's a bit harder to prove).

Performance and integration come from a single vendor providing a single
integrated solution. It's well-known that the Microsoft Java VM was easily
the fastest Java VM for Windows, handily outperforming Java VMs from Sun,
IBM and others. This is hardly surprising. It was the fact that Microsoft
wanted tighter integration of their VM with Windows that resulted in: (1) a
lawsuit with Sun; (2) Microsoft developing the .NET Framework as an
alternative; and, (3) Microsoft dropping support for their Java VM (which is
what started this thread).

.NET will always outperform Java on Windows. There's no way that Sun or IBM,
as third-parties, can produce a virtual machine that outperforms Microsoft's
on Windows. For example, Windows 2003 was specifically tuned to run the .NET
Framework, which runs almost twice as fast on Windows 2003 as it does on
Windows 2000. You won't see any similar performance boost for Java when
going from Windows 2000 to Windows 2003.

The fact that .NET will provide better integration with Windows, and with
other Microsoft products, such as SQL Server, should be obvious without
further discussion. Do you really think a JDBC driver from DataDirect is
going to provide better integration and performance with SQL Server 2005
than ADO.NET?

So those are the trade-offs. You can maximize portability, or you can
maximize performance and integration. You can't have both. Some people with
prefer one, some people will prefer the other.

Be careful where you're going with this argument. You wouldn't ever rely on
a single-vendor solution--such as Allaire/Macromedia ColdFusion--would you?
What about the problems that arise when you put all your eggs in one basket?

With BlueDragon, you get:

- The freedom to choose either Java or .NET.

- The freedom to deploy on any J2EE server in a standard WAR/EAR format.

- The freedom to deploy on Mac OS X as a fully supported platform.

- The freedom to, well, deploy for free.

If it's freedom that you're primarily interested, then I assume BlueDragon

SQL Query to XML

2004-09-28 Thread SStewart
Here's one where I'm not really sure where to start

I have a SQL query that I need to run and append the results to a node in a
pre-formatted XML template.

The XML template is used by several other apps in the suite and carries
information from different apps.

I'll be doing updates and inserts to the section of the template that deals
with my sub app.

Thanks in advance for any input

Re: OT: type ahead select lists

2004-09-28 Thread George Abraham
Charlie,
I guess I should have made myself more clear. The form element would
have to be a text input (or textarea), not a select list. Mario's
referring URL seems to do what I want. It does appear to have a few
bugs in the demo. Matthieu's idea of using a global buffer for storing
the options seems to be what they are following. If the options are
stored in a select list, the browser ends up crunching a whole lot of
resources if the select list has say, a 1000 options.

We have an internet application running on CFMX hosted locally. Our
clients (on a Navy base) are running machines that are restricted by
NMCI (Navy-Marine Corps Intranet) and they're using a NAT Proxy Server
that all of the users are behind. They just recently got moved to this
new system and we noticed an odd problem with this application. Two
users sitting at separate machines will pull up the website and go to
the login page.Once logged in, they will suddenly both be logged in as
the same person and the CFID and CFTOKEN in the URL are the same. We're
trying to figure out what's causing this problem and how to fix it.
We're meeting with the network team in charge of the NAT Proxy but we're
all expecting an it's not our problem response. Can anyone give more
info on how CF assigns CFID and CFTOKEN and how we might be able to code
against this?Any users with experience with NMCI issues would be
especially helpful.Thanks for your time.

btw, I'm validating this way so that if there's an unique

A cflocation sends a header back to the client that tells it to redirect to
another page using the GET method therefore the form submission ends and the
form scope is cleared down when the GET request is made. This is normal

1. Instantiate one or more individual objects within
the object. For each object, you populate its fields
with the data that you want to add.
2. Construct an sObject[] array and populate that
array with the objects that you want to create. All
objects must be of the same object.
3. Call create, passing in the sObject[] array.
4. Process the results in the SaveResult[] object to
verify whether the objects have been successfully
created.

Any help with this would be appreciated.

Mostly looking for another set of eyes.

I have a registration form that I want to insert to a DB after
validation. To validate a unique name, I reload the form and query
on the information. If it's a unique name, I cflocation to the
INSERT page.Thing is, when I get to the insert page, the form is no
longer available.I assume it's because cflocation is doing a
replace().Is there a cure for this?

btw, I'm validating this way so that if there's an unique
registration error, the form still has it's values.

thanks!

Re: Session swapping

2004-09-28 Thread Al Everett
I encountered virtualy the same issue where various PCs were ghosted
from an original image. When setting up that image our site had been
visited and the CFID and CFTOKEN cookies ended up being part of the
image.

Explicitly deleting cookies in the client browser fixed it right up.

I ran into a similar issue with one of our intranets here. If you
aren't already use UUID for cftoken. We were only seeing this issue in
teh training labs when a bunch of people were logged in on the same
part of the network and UUID seemed to prevent the SESSION steals.

Good point Al, the computers we saw this on were ghosted as well.
Maybe switching to UUID just cleaned out the old values.

Subject: SQL Query to XML

Here's one where I'm not really sure where to start

I have a SQL query that I need to run and append the results to a node in a
pre-formatted XML template.

The XML template is used by several other apps in the suite and carries
information from different apps.

I'll be doing updates and inserts to the section of the template that deals
with my sub app.

Thanks in advance for any input

Dan,

I can't answer the first part, but for the pricing, Borland (who owns

Re: Stupid evaluate() question

Thanks all.Worked marvelously and I felt silly for asking, but just
couldn't think it thru this morning.

If I could pester the list for one more (rtfm I know, but the docs I
found were sparse),

cfset my.loopcounter=0
cfloop
list=#my.Fields#
index=FieldName
input
type=Text
name=#FieldName#
value=#Evaluate(ListGetAt(my.DefaultValue,my.LoopCounter))#
cfset my.loopcounter=my.loopcounter+1
/cfloop

my.defaultvalue is another list whose position I'm getting via the
loopcounter and value is coming from evaluate()ing the result of the
listgetat()

Re: Stupid evaluate() question

2004-09-28 Thread Barney Boisvert
Assuming it's in the variables scope:

variables[ListGetAt(my.DefaultValue,my.LoopCounter)]

If you're in a CFC method (which I suspect), that won't work, because
you can't explicitly reference the local variables scope.

cheers,

Turn this into 1 query?

2004-09-28 Thread Kelly Matthews
I have 2 queries wondering if I can accomplish this in 1.

Query 1:

CREATE PROCEDURE [dbo].[fa_addonqueue_inout]
	@date2 datetime=null,
	@today datetime=null

AS
	SELECT DISTINCTb.id, b.qnum, b.firstname, b.lastname, b.ssn, c.phase, c.disbursed_date
	FROMfaLoans a
	INNER JOIN	abIdentity b ON a.IdentityID = b.ID
	INNER JOIN	Import_Cap_Status c ON b.SSN = c.SSN
	WHERE (c.Branch = 0001) AND (c.phase=1) AND (c.Disbursed_date between @date2 and@today)
	order by c.disbursed_date DESC
GO

Query 2:
	SELECT ssn
	FROMImport_Cap_Status
WHERE (Branch = 0001) AND (phase=2) AND (ssn IN (#ValueList(addonqueue.ssn)#))

Basically w/ query 2 I am taking the results of query 1 and going back through them and pulling any records that have phase 2 as well (that means the person would have 2 records a phase 1 phase 2), these are then going to be eliminated from what we display on the page.Any suggestions on combining this query?

In the past I borrowed code from here and there to get it working but

learn from it rather than just being in a mad rush to get it up
running.

Any help greatly appreciated.
