Re: [Chevelle-list] guages
Dear Bob If you look on the website for Painless Wiring, they have some online information of how to test gauges. - Original Message - From: rml...@comcast.net Date: Tuesday, May 26, 2009 15:03 Subject: Re: [Chevelle-list] guages To: dansolo...@msn.com, The Chevelle Mailing List > Thanks Dan for the advice. Re: [Chevelle-list] New Roof for A Body
Dear Mr Piper Try a place called Little Valley Auto Ranch's TEXAS EXPORTS. They are located in Belton Texas, approximately 120 miles south of Dallas. Call 254-541-5909. Mike will answer the phone. He handles all used parts. They also have a website describes the salvagable cars and ones they have repaired trying to sell. Used parts, generally, they will ask about to 50 % cost of replacement in magazine. They do have alot of sheetmetal parts for Chevelle's. I do not remember a whole 67, they did have a 66 two door post car awhile back. Good Luck Brian Thomas, owner 69 Chevelle. Re: [Chevelle-list] Help with Conversion
I am having a similar problem. I bought a combination tach/instrument gauge from OPG. I am also installing the Pqinless Wiring system on my 69 Chevelle. The issue I am having is that OPG and Painless wiring cannot tell me which lead, such as pos, neg and sensor goes to which portion on the back of the gauge. OPG stated no one has ever asked this question before of them. If anyone out there is able to assist, it would be greatly appreciated. I have a digital picture of the back of the gauge to anyone who might be able to help me. - Original Message - From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Date: Sunday, December 7, 2008 18:11 Subject: Re: [Chevelle-list] Help with Conversion To: [EMAIL PROTECTED], chevelle-list@chevelles.net > Dan... > > Did you receive the pictures you need? > > I have a '70 SS with gauges and can help. > > Email or call. > > Jerry Wells > [EMAIL PROTECTED] > 641.430.7510 > > > > > -Original Message- > From: Dan Solomon < > To: Chevelle List < > Sent: Sat, 6 Dec 2008 8:08 pm > Subject: [Chevelle-list] Help with Conversion > > > > I am preparing to convert my 70 to a tach cluster with gauges. Re: [Chevelle-list] Towed Home
Rick If you are able to get a copy of Cilton's Repair Manuel for 64-77 Chevelle's, it gives a good describtion as well as a picture of how to check the coil with a ohm meter. There is also the check of the Module in the distrubutor that Auto Zone will check for proper functioning. - Original Message - From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Date: Wednesday, December 3, 2008 11:41 Subject: Re: [Chevelle-list] Towed Home To: chevelle-list@chevelles.net > Rick, > > Are you getting power at the coil? Re: [Chevelle-list] More Power Steering Bracket Help
Hello My name is Brian Thomas. I am also restoring a 1969 Chevelle SS. You look like you are missing the bracket that attaches to the bolt for the exhaust manifold and a hole just below there. The bracket you are looking for can be located in the Ground-up catalog, page 17. It is the smaller of the three brackets from item AQW-1418. I just finished installing the power steering pump. As of this moment, I do not know where you can buy the bracket separtely, but I hope this will help. - Original Message - From: "[EMAIL PROTECTED]" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Date: Sunday, October 28, 2007 16:12 Subject: [Chevelle-list] More Power Steering Bracket Help To: chevelle-list@chevelles.net > > Howdy, > > Hoping someone can fill me in on which bracket I need for this > install.
