Ended up parting it out! All that remains is the vin tag and cowl tag. 9. 72 Olds 98 10.66 Malibu 2dr htrolling shell put the 327/ TH400 from the '56 Chevy into it. Gave it to my sister when the landlord said it was me or the car...switched out the 327 for a 350 from my brothers Monte. She ended up going away to school, and the car got sold (I think?) 11.75 Lincoln Mk IV Aircraft Carrier style hood, gotta love the electrical problems, and 3 front ends in 3 years--traded in on a brand new 12.85 Jetta. Wolfsburg Edition my first brand new car. Lowered it, all the other crap that goes with that. One tough car, went for about 250, 000 miles, before I drove it into the right rear quarter of a buick regal at about 50 mph. I drove home, she got towed (from the sidewalk, where she ended up facing in the opposite direction) Used it in my driveway to push and pull my '79 VW Westfalia camper project around. 13.84 VW Vanagon The slowest vehicle (next to a bumper car) I have ever driven. Another long story I wont go into :)I still have the damn thing, it takes up space parked in front of the house and annoys my !#%$ mother in law, which makes ME very happy 14.89 VW Jetta Wolfsburg Got this from my sister when she moved to Belgium on business. I got sandwhiched while waiting for a draw bridge, by a guy in a dodge van who was doing like 50...I was still able to drive it, and I did for about 3 months- until it became REALLY un reliable. 15.Back to the 84 Vanagon Like I said, long story.by this time, I am REALLY hankerin' for some BIG BLOCK power, after driving The Brick 150 miles a day to work and back. Hmmm, Vanagon+ BigBlock?...nahmaybe the 327? LOL 16Canadian 66 Malibu SS Kind of weird owning an imported Chevelle. I wish I had pics of some of my cars but back then who knew? I used to have pics of all my cars, places friends and I went, ex-girlfriends, etc. I kept pics of everything until I encountered hatred of the worst kind in one of my girlfriends. She destroyed several years of memories in the fireplace after getting very upset with me. I was in the limousine business and she couldn't understand clients running over the contracted time (meaning more money for us). She was batting with half a cageI dumped her and kicked her out, but the memories are still gone. I did find two pics of cars in my mother's albums after her death, but many years are lost with no way to replace them. It took the wind out of photography for me until recently. Now it's all digital and there's backups in two places. I envy anyone that has photos of their cars and friends from the past. Kelly C.
