Re: [Chevelle-List] Q: Brake line connection II

2003-06-26 Thread Pelle Andersson
Thanks! That's good news!
I guess I'll just move forward towards the front in disassembling the brake
lines
until I get to a point where I can get everything loose for replacement!?
When I was changing the front brake pads the other day I realized that I
have
to change the discs too, one of them looked like a washboard :-(
But I'll sacrifice a set of brake pads so I can drive my car home to
Stockholm
a.s.a.p. from my parents house do the disc change at the car-club in
Stockholm
when I eventually get there ;-)

Best regards
Pelle

Pelle, The hose threads into the brass block. All are replacable. You will
need to remove the steel line from the front end of the flexible line and
pop the clip loose that holds the flex. line to the chassis. Then all
should
 come out.
 Good luck.

[Chevelle-List] Q: Brake line connection II

2003-06-25 Thread burnintires
There's a little brass connection on top of the rear axel that
connects the two brake lines going to the wheels!
There's also a short brake hose connected to the same little brass
block! My question is:
Is it possible to remove replace that little brass connection from
all of the three above mentioned hoses brakelines or is the hose
fixed to the brass connection?
My thought is to try to replace that little brass block so I can rid of
that stuck brakeline!

Best regards
