I got a can of some spray from the parts dept of
the local Chev dealership once. Used it on a Lumina which we bought for my
daughter to drive when she's home from college. We used the whole can, but it
did take out the p/o's smoke smell completely.

I don't know the name of the product, but it's what
the dealership uses when they take in smokey trade-ins.

I think it sucks that the guy that did your interior smoked it up.
Ask him how you're supposed to get the smell out.
Did you pay him yet?
Since that will probably get you nowhere,

Do the entire inside of the car with Fabreeze and put some Bounce strips
under the seats and shut car up real tight and sit it in the sun all
day. This will do wonders, but nothing but time and repeated treatments
with Fabreeze will cure the problem. I'm assuming you have washed/wiped
the entire inside with a mild bleach solution and shampooed the carpet?

I have heard Oil of Wintergreen will remove the smell but do not know this from personal use...heard it from a fireman.  It used to be an over the counter item at a drugstore, but who knows?  Now it might be considered toxic...  Ed
