Re: [Chevelle-list] anyone here?
Look at the bright side, you didn't hit anything and nothing hit you !!! I had a similar incident with my S-10 pickup a couple of years back. Was backing out of the drive to go to work at 5:30 am ,hit the brake pedal and it went to the floor. Ended up in the neighbors front yard before I could get it stopped with the emergency brake. Front caliper brake line must have had a bubble in it and decided at that moment to burst. Made my day ! Ted --- On Thu, 9/10/09, mike f wrote: From: mike f Subject: Re: [Chevelle-list] anyone here? Thanks!
Re: [Chevelle-list] anyone here?
Brad, Glad you lucked out. That sure could have turned out a whole lot worse! That happened to me this spring on my old Harley. Went through a stop sign and ended up stopped in the middle of the road using foot brakes. Thank God for Guarden Angels. If the women don't find you handsome, they should at least find you handy. I broke something! I was driving to work and hit the brakes for a stop sign. Whoop! Pedal to the floor! Pump, pump, pump! Too late, I'm through the intersection already.
