We're assuming that the console port is toast. Just in case there is some life in it try the speed jumper on the motherboard. I guess my first question would be how, after a few HOURS, there is no IP address assigned and vty config? have you tried connecting from different computers? Well if you had set any write snmp community strings you could try an upload a config into the router that would allow you to get in via the vty.
