RE: Study Materials (was: CCNP Books )
Brian, I have to admit, I actually find the real world scenarios the most interesting. When I first joined, I thought this was a list strictly devoted to the various exams and studying but I was (pleasantly) surprised to find that there are many actual cases posted here as well. There are a bunch of really awesome resources here! I would suggest for certifications, buy the books and read them. If you don't understand something, try to research it, and if you still can't figure it out write to the list. That way atleast you can approach the list and get the most out of it. I enjoy reading other peoples e-mails. You can see real world issues and their fix (which can often prove extremely usefull when you encounter the same issue). For what it's worth that's my 2 cents. >>>Brian >From: "Buri, Heather H" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> >Reply-To: "Buri, Heather H" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> >To: "'Andy'" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> >CC: "'[EMAIL PROTECTED]'" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> >Subject: RE: Study Materials (was: CCNP Books ) >Date: Tue, 30 Jan 2001 09:54:20 -0600 > >Hi. > >I have a question regarding this. There are hundreds of websites with information that you need to pass the tests, cisco's being the largest. There are also some central repositories, such as certificationzone or networkstudyguides which charge a nominal fee to cover the expense. There are also some free one's. The bottom line is its all out there and one person can do a web search as easy another another to find it. Being resourceful is one of the most important qualities of being a Cisco professional. Its diverse enough that you really do need to find your own way because someone can't simply post up all the answers (literally and figuratively) that you need. andy _ FAQ, list archives, and subscription info: http://www.groupstudy.com/list/cisco.html Report misconduct and Nondisclosure violations to [EMAIL PROTECTED]

Hi. I have a question regarding this. Are these links posted anywhere, perhaps on the groupstudy.com site in the form of FAQ's or something? I am always interested in links to study materials as well. Obviously, I don't want to use anything copyrighted or illegal. I am fairly new here, so I have been fairly quiet as I am trying to get a feel of the group and what is and is not allowed. The continual asking for it coupled with the many "me too's" that follow is not. andy _ FAQ, list archives, and subscription info: http://www.groupstudy.com/list/cisco.html Report misconduct and Nondisclosure violations to [EMAIL PROTECTED] _ FAQ, list archives, and subscription info: http://www.groupstudy.com/list/cisco.html Report misconduct and Nondisclosure violations to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
