Re: Studying info and help?

2000-07-27 Thread Vern Stitt

Hey Keith,

Here in the states we use the term school for any type of training held in a
classroom. We have Elementary School, Middle School, High School, MCSE
School, Cisco School and my favorite High Performance Driving School. The
Driving School labs are held outdoors of course but still refered to as a
school.

2000-07-27 Thread Bob Edmonds

It is true that I started studying Cisco related material at the age of 16,
at my high school they offered a course that basically encompassed the CCNA
course with a little bit more in-depth information. But when I said school
I ment that I'm going to the University of Toledo I am now 18 which is the
usual age that Americans start attending college, I know that in the UK the
usual age for college is 16 so maybe it was a cultural thing.

OK this may be a cultural thing (I'm from the UK) but 'school' is for people
upto the age of 16. Is it my imagination or are they starting them VERY
young these days...

Alternatively I suppose I could just be getting old... :-(

Studying info and help?

2000-07-26 Thread Bob Edmonds

Hi all,

I recently passed my CCNA exam with a score of 916 and now I'm planning on
going for CCNP 2.0. I was wondering if anybody knew of a good study group
in the Toledo, Ohio area. I will be attending school there in about 3 weeks
and would like to join a group of fellow Cisco studiers! If anyone has any
info it would be a great help.

Thanks in advance

Bob
