Re: Stus-List C&C 30mkI numbering

2016-06-18 Thread RANDY via CnC-List
I'm guessing the N stands for November? So the 30-1 was being drawn by 1970
according to dates on Rob Ball blueprints I have, and the first hull was built
in 1971.

Does anyone know at what point in the build process the month and year are
fixed for a given hull? Is it when the hull is released from the mold? Or when
the finished product rolls out of the factory?

Cheers,
Randy

Anchovy doesn't have a HIN. Just a small C&C plate on the transom inside the
cockpit with 30-1 on one end and 1971N on the opposite end.

Stus-List 1988 30 MK2 1/4 berth size?

2016-06-18 Thread Lorne Serpa via CnC-List
Hello. My wife wants to get sheets for the double berth on our boat.
It's thousands of miles away. Anyone know the dimensions? Length and also
head and foot widths since it's tapered. Thanks really appreciate it.

I had this company http://www.tuftedtopper.com/ make a topper for my
V-berth. Definitely worth the money. They also make custom sheets.

I have been given 1/4, 5/16, and 3/8 for the stuffing in the stuffing box. What

Randy,

I’m not sure for the early boats but according to the build file, for my 25
the hull was moulded in Nov 74 (start of the layup), the boat was completed in
Dec and shipped out to the dealer in Jan 75.

Re: Stus-List 1988 30 MK2 1/4 berth size?

2016-06-18 Thread Kevin Driscoll via CnC-List
Lorne, if by "1/4 berth" you mean aft cabin, my wife and I use standard
double sheet sets from Ikea, which work very well. The berth is essentially
rectangular and bigger than a double at the head, but since the cushions
are not as deep as regular sheets, they fit fine. I would ask your wife to
save her time and money or sew something more useful to you like hatch
covers, etc.

If she wants a perfect fitting sheet she could modify a double.

When are you taking delivery of this boat? Why is it still so far away?

Best,
KD
