My vote was not a reflection of your efforts in updating omniorb but the lack of
continued development being undertaken by the 3dwn people.
There Development/Dependencies list the require for the specific version
omniORB 3.0 -- A C++ ORB (Object Request Broker). Includes an IDL-to-C++ compiler, ORB
libs, and a name service.

And I find nothing on their site to indicate that any changes are being made which
will allow it to work with omniORB 4.0.

If you can get it to build I will happily withdraw my vote.
But at some point efforts will have to be made to diminish the sheer amount of space
which Mandrake encompasses on it's host servers.
We can not continue to add 'new' pkgs in perpetuity without at some point being
required to remove 'old' pkgs.
