I don't know. I only made the package compiling to get this great
program into the distro. I never did video editing.

I only made it compiling, I didn't do anything with bttv drivers. So I
ask the kernel people for doing this part.

As one can read on the home page of Broadcast 2000 it is GPL, so there
is no problem to put it onto the Cooker. And it IS there, I have
uploaded it and checked whether it is there. Its full name is

   bcast-2000a-1mdk.i586.rpm

I hope, it is on your mirror.

What do you mean with "After downloading it from the Cooker"?

I have a Bt878 detected as "Askey/Typhoon/Anubis Ma", with the lastest
drivers from bttv and lm_sensors, do you think it will run?

This application looks way cool...

I hope there were more capture card supported, like the Pinnacle range, with
MPEG2 encoding...

BTW does it support the LANC / JLIP and other video controllers...

How do you have the Time :)

I have experimented with bc2000 since the first release. Can it be
put into mdk rpms or are there legal problems? I would love to have it
even if it was on an extra "app" disk or? This program is amazing, just
wish I personally had the horsepower to really do it justice!!! Some

Did you get the upgraded bttv driver patch working?
Since I have yet to get one I can only prognasticate!
