Another vote for the oven method. I use wide aluminum foil in a baking sheet, and cook the bacon on a non-stick cooling rack in the baking sheet. Bake at 400 for 25 minutes to start with. I always use thick sliced bacon. Clean up is a snap, fold the aluminum foil to the middle on all four sides after the bacon grease has congealed, and toss it in the trash. I do mine like Sharon, except I line the pan with parchment paper and heat the oven to 400 degrees. I tried for years to do it right in a frying pan, and finally just gave up cooking it until I found the oven method. Brian, I have tried bacon for years and find that the best way is to line a baking pan with foil, line your slices inside the pan so they don't cover each other and bake at about 375 for about 25-30 minutes, but test it and see if it's done enough. It even keeps if you don't use it all in one meal.
