[Coworking] Re: I count 44 existing spaces, 4 in progress!

2008-11-17 Thread Tampa Startup

Great timing on this info, Thanks Tara.

We are pitching Cowoking at an open house this afternoon as part of
the Kauffman Foundation's Global Entrepreneur Week
(unleashingideas.org) and I was looking for some stats or a dashboard
on current number of facilities open and the number of cities where
informal Coworking is a regular event.

Thanks again,

- Ken

2008-11-17 Thread Kelly Brown

Wow - that's awesome.
Last i had checked it seemed like it was around 30 -- which is what
i've been quoting when people ask me if there are any more around :)

Thanks Tara for your leadership & advocacy in this arena -- I
definitely think a HUGE part of the credit for the growth of coworking
goes to you, susan evans, tony b, jerome, and alex -- among many, many
others -- those just being the few i could name off the top of my
head.

Thanks again.

Quality piece, nice showcase for conjunctured.

Would love for a piece of this caliber to be done about coworking: the
movement beyond any individual space.

Either way, nice piece and enjoy :)

ActionCamp is about gathering really smart people with diverse

information about the important local causes and charities, then let
them brainstorm about how to make a difference. Taking those ideas and
putting them into ACTION is the main activity of ActionCamp.
