Thank you. I missed that.

Probably an error.

I validated and fix the few errors. IE7 will give 18 point Verdana and no

All to be rounded corner buttons In 15 point Arial, starting at margin-left:

[css-d] A 3 column design

2008-06-03 Thread Hayden's Harness Attachment
I am working on the redesign of a web site. After the header I am designing a
two column layout. Column one is at the left margin to about 20% of the screen
for links and the last 8% is for text and graphics. All links are to open to a
new window. I have come up with the following:

.main1 {
display: block;
float: left;
width: 10em;
padding-bottom: 1em;
}
.main2 {
margin-left: 10em;
padding-left: 1em;
padding-bottom: 1em;
}

Will this remain the same, even when font size is increased or decreased? And
yes I need to design a font sizer.

I have a page that will contain three (3) columns after some text. For example,
I have my header, next some text, the three columns of text, some more text and
then a footer. Everything but the three columns I have solved. I would like to
use "Floats" for the tabular data, however, I am stumped. The columns are for
First and Last Name, Title and City located in. I am trying to think of a third
for name column, a second third column for title and a third third column for
city. that also works if the font size is decreased or increased. Any ideas?

it is interferring with my background URL image. The AOL user states the AOL
web browser is set to normal. Any Ideas on what is causing the font size
increase and how to fix it? Also how can this AOL send me a screen shot? I
believe the person is using Windows Vista.

[css-d] Bacground URL not showing

2008-04-19 Thread Hayden's Harness Attachment
I am confused why "background:
url(http://www.choroideremia.org/images/curve.gif) no-repeat 115px 0;" use to
work fine and now it does not. I can view the gif just fine, using the http
line in the brackets. Any help is most welcome.

[css-d] Font size

2008-04-14 Thread Hayden's Harness Attachment
I do not know if this is the right list for this question. I use the following
in the CSS for a web site I maintain.

* {
margin: 0;
padding: 0;
}
html {
height: 100%;
font-size: 80%;
}
body {
font-size: 1em;
font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;
font-weight: bold;
margin: 10px 10px;
padding: 5px 0px 10px;
}
#wrapper {
}
#header {
min-height:142px;
}
h1 {
color: #F0;
background: #8B;
font-size: 1.5em;
text-align: center;
line-height: 72px;
white-space: nowrap;
display: block;
}

And I am told repeatedly that my fonts are to larger. I use a screen reader
with Firefox so I am not really concerned with font size. I have a lot of
viewers from perfect site to totally blind like myself. What is your advice on
font size? I have alot of IE and Firefox users.

Is it possible to control the width and height of a background URL using CSS? I
have a CSS file with "background:

Can someone see why IE7 and Firefox 2.x running on Vista Home Premium puts a
Plump 4 background color for "Choroideremia Research Foundation Inc.
(CRF)" and "Decrease Font Size By 10%" in a midnight blue background color? I
should have a midnight blue background a white curve and then a midnight blue
background.

2008-02-16 Thread Hayden's Harness Attachment
I had the following doing what what I wanted. Now the background in the curve
is not a dark blue (#191970) I wish to have. I would like to keep the white and
change the grey background "choroideremia Research Foundation Inc."
"(CRF)" sits on to a dark blue (#191970). Can some one see the problem?
