-Caveat Lector- UPDATE YOUR ANTIVIRUS DEFINITIONS PLEASE! I just got a sobig worm virus as an attachment from somebody on this list.. which I do not appreciate.. it could very well be innocent as the person sending the mail to this list does not know their computer files are infected with a virus. The email basically just said .. thank you.. and the attachment was in the SCR screensaver file extension. These recent viruses work in such a way that they will send out virus infected attachments with outgoing email without the computer owners knowledge.. these are pretty sophisticated worm viruses.. so please MAKE SURE YOU DO A VIRUS SCAN .. I DO NOT APPRECIATE GETTING VIRUS ATTACHMENTS IN THIS MAILING LIST!!! GET THE MESSEGE If you do not use any type of antivirus software and you are on this list, well you better get some fast.. as there are a hell of a lot of worm viruses that are floating around the internet right now.. I have gotten 4 sent to me in email as attachments the last two weeks alone.. which has never happened to me before. Fortunately I have excellent virus detection in my outlook express so nothing gets into my system without being scanned. If you do not have any antivirus software installed.. go to www.grisoft.com and download and install the free version there.. that is what I use.. AVG by grisoft and I find it works better than nortons even.. it will pick up viruses nortons does not even find.. it has heuristic.. which means it scans in the background without activiting it.. so it will pick up even viruses that come through html in the browser.. plus the updates are very punctual and comprehensive. --- Outgoing mail is certified Virus Free. Thus, homosexuals and many religionists alike are blind to Biblical history and Scriptural instruction. Apart from a spiritually circumcised ear, all Scriptural teaching on the subject will be like the seed that was sown by the way side (greek text - hodon, accusative of hiodos, which means a way or road) (Matt.13:19). Among the unrighteous people who shall not inherit the kingdom of God, the inspired apostle mentioned fornicators (plural of pornos, a fornicator), idolaters (plural of eidololatres, an idolater or worshipper of idols), adulterers (plural of moichos, an adulterous person), effeminate (plural of malakos, a male who submits his body to unnatural lust), and abusers of themselves with mankind (plural of arsenokoires, one who lies with a male as a female) (I Cor. 6:9). The Greek word arsenokoites is used here and in I Timothy 1:10 For whoremongers, for them that defile themselves with mankind This Greek word is a compound word composed of arsen, which means male, and koite, which means a bed. Hence, the reference is to male homosexuals. Homosexuality is not new, but its acceptance by heterosexuals as another lifestyle is new. How can that which is unnatural become an accepted lifestyle with so many? (See Deut. 23:17, 18; Judges 19:2,24; I Kings 14:24; 15:12; 22:46; Isa 3:9.) The revelation of Gods wrath against sin, which includes homosexuality, is described by Paul in Romans 1:18-3:20. Gods wrath is the counterpart of His righteousness. It is not a passion but a principle. His wrath is the reaction of holy love in the presence of sin. To the nature of God, wrath against sin is as natural as love for holiness. As God cannot be holy without being jealous for His holiness, He cannot be holy without manifesting His wrath against sin. Therefore, God gave sinners over to their evil passions as punishment for their sins. Concerning sinners, three references to God gave them over are recorded in the first chapter of Romans (vv. 24, 26, 28). The Greek word for gave them over is an aorist active indicative of paradidomi, which means to give over into the power of another or to abandon one to his own sinful lusts for the manifestation of the depths of human depravity. Each of the times Paul said that God gave them over must be viewed in the light of what preceded Gods abandonment. The ones abandoned by God in verse 24 were those who: held down truth (v. 18), ignored general revelation (vv. 19, 20), devaluated God (v. 21), professed superior wisdom (v. 22), and exchanged Gods glory for man-made idols (v. 23): 1. The impression we are given is that homosexuals are involved in committed relationships comparable to typical heterosexual relationships, but the truth is the homosexual lifestyle is, by its very nature, extremely promiscuous. According to surveys of homosexual men, the average homosexual may easily have thousands of sexual partners in his lifetime. According to Jeffrey Satinover: A 1981 study revealed that only 2 percent of homosexuals were monogamous or semi-monogamous-generously defined as ten or fewer lifetime partners. And a 1978 study found that 43 percent of male homosexuals estimated having sex with five hundred or more different partners and 28 percent with a thousand or more different partners. Seventy-nine percent said that more than half of these partners were strangers and 70 percent said that more than half were men with whom they had sex only once. Of gay men and anonymous sex, George Grant and Mark A. Horne point out in their book, Legislating Immorality: Worse, many-if not most-of all homosexual encounters are anonymous Homosexual bathhouses-or as they are sometimes called, without a hint of irony, health clubs-cater specifically to this perverse hankering for anonymity. Now for those who continually quote the old testament levitical laws in defense of discrediting the bible.. I hear this continually from Sodomites.. I answer the following NOT to distinguish between the different aspect of the old testament law is folly indeed.. most reformed theologians separate the law into three major categories.. i) moral law ii) ceremonial and dietary levitical laws iii) levitical preisthood laws... The moral law is eternally binding.. the latter two the levitical ceremonial and laws of levitical priesthood have been fulfilled and are not longer binding on man as those old covenant laws have been fulfilled in Christ when he came to earth 2000 years ago... the moral law on the other hand is binding eternally and is yet to find it final consumation in the future also in Christ... the Old Testament levitical laws are NO LONGER BINDING on new testament christians or anybody for that matter, simply because the old covenant levitcal laws have been fulfilled in Christ who was our high priest forever... see the book of hebrews on this.. if you do not believe me.. I am not making this up... So for those sodomites and pagans who like to point out these old testament levitical laws.. saying we should keep them also.. betrays their ignorance of Gods covenants.. as well as the fact they do NOT have a clue about what God has fulfilled and not fulfilled. Old Testament sabaths.. feast days and ceremonial levitical laws were only binding on the jewish nation in the old testament.. those laws have been fulfilled in Christ.. we no longer need the shadow of those levitical laws which pointed to Christ. The moral law on the other hand is still binding on all men.. whether they are christians or not... every single one of the 10 commandment (except the jewish saturday sabath) was repeated in the new testament under the commandments of Christ... I can post the comparison if you like.. Now, as to your last point.. Then how come most heterosexuals never thought twice about it, one way or the other, until the Christians came along? This is a brief history of banking control in the United Stales of America from 1750 to 1813, or "how the International Bankers got economic control of U.S.A. The following is a precis of an article by Alain Pilote from "News and Facts". "In 1750 there was not yet a United States of America, thirteen colonies on the American continent forming "New England", belonging to the mother country England. Benjamin Franklin wrote of them "Impossible to find a happier and more prosperous population on all the surface of the globe," When he went to England to represent their interests, he was asked how he accounted for their prosperity, while England had so much poverty. "Simple", Franklin replied. "In the colonies we issue our own money called 'Colonial Script'. We issue it in proportion to make products pass easily from producers to consumers. In this manner creating ourselves our own paper money, we control its purchasing power and we have no interest to pay to anyone " When the English bankers were informed of that, they had a law passed by the British Parliament prohibiting the Colonies issuing their own money and ordering them to use only gold or silver debt-money that was provided in insufficient quantity by the English bankers. The circulating medium of exchange was thus reduced by half. Franklin stated that "the conditions were so reversed that the era of prosperity ended and a depression set in to such an extent that the streets of the colonies were filled with unemployed." Then the revolutionary war was launched against England, followed by the Declaration of Independence in 1776. Our school books erroneously teach that it was the tax on tea that caused the American Revolution. But Franklin clearly stated "The Colonies would gladly have borne the little tax on tea and other matters had it not been the poverty caused by the bad influence of the English bankers on the Parliament; which was caused in the Colonies hatred of England and the Revolutionary War." The founding fathers of the United Slates, hearing all these facts in mind, and to protect themselves against the exploitation of the International Bankers, took good care to expressly declare, in the American Constitution, signed at Philadelphia, in 1787, Article I, Section 8, Paragraph 5" Congress shall have the power to coin money and to regulate the value thereof. The Bankers did not give up. Their agent, Alexander Hamilton, secretary of Stale (Minister of Finance) in George Washington's cabinet, advocated the establishment of a Federal Bank to be owned by private interests, and the creation of debt money (with false argument such as "a national debt, if it is not excessive, will be to us a national blessing . . . The wisdom of the government will be shown in never trusting itself with the use of so seducing and dangerous an expedient, as issuing its own money,") And he convinced them into believing that only the debt-money issued by private banks would he accepted in dealing abroad. 2. (The Evils) Thomas Jefferson. Secretary of State, was strongly opposed to that project, but President Washington was finally convinced by Hamilton's arguments, A Federal Bank was thus created in 1791, the "Bank of the United States", with a twenty year charter. It was more really the "bank of the bankers" since it was not owned by the nation, but by Individuals holding the bank's stocks, the private bankers. (The name was purposely chosen to deceive U.S. citizens that they were the owners of the bank, which was not the case. In 1811 Congress voted against renewal, thanks to the influence of Thomas Jefferson and Andrew Jackson. Jackson said "If Congress has a right under the Constitution to issue paper money, it was given them to use by themselves, not lo be delegated to individuals or corporations." Nathan Rothschild from the Bank of England issued his ultimatum "Either the application for renewal of the Charter is granted or the U.S. will find itself in a most disastrous war." Nathan Rothschild issued orders "Teach these impudent Americans a lesson, bring them back to colonial status". The British Government launched the war of 1812 against the U.S. . . . Rothschild's plan was to impoverish the U.S. through this war to such an extent the legislators would have to seek financial aid ... which of course, would be forthcoming only in renewal of the Charter for the Bank of the U.S. . . . Much of the debate focussed on what kind of a regime would follow and how the country's considerable resources, particularly oil, would be deployed. Implicit was the belief that once formidable American firepower was focussed on the job at hand, Saddam's Ba'athist regime would crumble quickly. Hence, it was felt that there was little point in hypothesising about the day to day ups and downs of the war, even if one expressed concern about the attendant costs. But the coalition troops now have a fight on their hands. It is becoming increasingly clear that the cries to get on with it - said in hope that much of the building uncertainty would be quickly lifted with the onset of war - has created a host of new unpredictable problems not yet discounted. What we can say about the war thus far is as follows: a best-case scenario (on which the market's initial hopes were placed) can now be safely dismissed as unrealistic. The range of post-war scenarios now looks set to take on a less congenial hue, from least bad outcome to disaster. It is important to consider a new spectrum of potential outcomes, the concomitant implications for the markets, and place these in the context of a war occurring amidst a world economy still characterised by mounting external imbalances in the US, and ongoing sluggish growth in Japan and the eurozone. First the good news: thus far, no use of chemical weapons, the oil wells remain largely intact, the casualty count has remained relatively low despite the massive use of firepower, and the battle has thus far been largely contained within the borders of Iraq. Now for the bad news: a war lasting days (the initial basis for the recent surge in global equities), rather than weeks or months is looking far less likely. In contrast to the first Gulf war, the US has clearly not opted for an incremental approach, but a higher risk dash to Baghdad, which only makes sense in the event of a prompt, decisive victory. Time is not on the side of the coalition forces in terms of winning the important battle for public opinion, which was tenuous even before the start of hostilities. There has been no damage to the oil fields, but the oil market remains very tight as evidenced by the recent move into backwardation. The commander of the UK forces in the Persian Gulf, Brian Burridge, acknowledges that the Rumaila oil field is in terrible condition and suggests that it may take at least 3 months before Iraq can start exporting again. Crude prices are therefore likely to trend higher. Despite news of the Basra uprising, there is no real evidence that the Iraqis (or, indeed, much of the Arab world) view the US/UK forces as liberators. Another obvious point of conflict are the squabbles already emerging over post-Saddam Iraq. Not just who is going to control the country - the US or the United Nations - but who is going to pick up the tab and who is going to get the contracts for rebuilding the country. Such disputes, if not quickly resolved, leave open the disturbing prospect of the victors being viewed as an illegitimate occupying power which may remain subject to persistent insurgency and guerrilla warfare. Iraq itself could fracture, notably in the north, where the Turks are now beginning to intervene in Kurdistan, against the express wishes of their American allies; the possibility of the conflict extending beyond Iraq's borders needs to be considered by the markets. The oil fields of Kirkuk are but one clear flashpoint which opens up the possibility of a widening war. [CTRL] 65 Billion Dollars
-Caveat Lector- What did I wake up to this morning, when I turned on the radio news? Get this, George W. Bush is going to petition the American Congress today for ... get this 65 Billion dollars in an aid request package, to pay for this genocidal invasion of iraq. Hmmm... that is interesting, 65 billion dollars huh? So in other words this invasion (not war) has not even been paid for by taxpayers of america as of yet, but is a campaign being fought on borrowed time and money. One can only wonder if that is the case, how long George W. Bush can continue this charade of mock freedom fighting, which is nothing more than re-buttressing of the chickhawk republican zionist right wing guard in Washington. My question though is specifically directed towards the American Taxpayer. Is this invasion worth that type of price tag? Ask yourself?
