Ed, I am trying to run through the tutorial on line called The Step-By-Step Guide to Dabo Programming. That is the message I get when I try to run option from the menu. Also, please include your system/version information, as there are many bugs that have been fixed, and you may be running an older version. To get that information, open up the Class Designer, and then open the 'About' dialog in the Help menu. Copy the info, and paste it in the reply. I've had the same problem as Kevin with the CD for some time now. This also cropped up maybe six months ago but was fixed for a time by an update, then several months ago it broke again. I inquired about the error a few weeks ago and as I recall the advice was to install SVN (which I would like to avoid). Not sure why the web updates haven't fixed it. [dabo-users] Dabo Error When Opening Database File
Hi, I was following the screencast for starting up Dabo and creating a database from MySQL. Thing is, when I enter the command: python test.py, and the screen appears for a hot second and then I see this error (below) on the DOS screen. I changed my version of wxPython to 2.6, but it didn't seem to make a difference. Anyone have any clues as to what's up? Thanks!
