We tried to stop calling it formal dinner a while ago, because of

Most people just wear their regular geek-hanging-out clothes for the
conference dinner, though of course you're allowed to dress up

The only reason I can think of to bring a suit would be if you want to

With current information, for 9 people, it is better to take one
8-seater and one normal car, not necessarily from the same company,
and I got a marginally cheaper offer for an 8-seater:

 - 8-seater from connecto-taxi: 275,- EUR

 - Better offer: 8-seater from http://www.foxtransfer.eu/: 253,- EUR;
I asked them about 9 people, maybe they have something
cost-effective. The address they'll reply to is an alias that

 - normal car (1-3 persons) from http://en.taxizagreb.hr/: 160,- EUR

A debian package you really wish everyone knew about? Let me know by

Not at all. Banja Luka is a very relaxed, green and leafy city. If your bags

I confirm that taxis are OK and probably easy to find, even at 2:00am
(according to Moray's experience). The ride is between 8 and 10 KM.

If you don't have KM and have a VISA card, the hotel lobby has an ATM
which you can use to withdraw money and pay the taxi when arriving.

Taxis know about Hotel Bosna and very probably about other hotels
where ppl will be hosted.

The night we arrived the ATM at hotel was not working, the taxi ride
was 8.80 KM and the taxi driver accepted 5 Euros (the conversion rate
is 1.96).

Kind regards,

For me, there was no custom inspection at all.
I was travelling by train over Hungary and Croatia,
and there was not even a question if I have anything to declare.

Even for me being from a no Schengen country, at the Croatia/Bosnia border the
bus driver toked all the passports and return it after they was stamped, we do
have to go down the bus on the Croatia side, but our luggage was not inspected.

P.S.: We == Me and the 8 old ladies coming in the same bus.

Cheers

A taxi is probably the easiest option (provided there are still some waiting
around at that time). Also, make sure you have some convertible marks (BAM)
 on
you. There is a VISA-only ATM in the bus station but it may well be closed at
 that time.

We arrived in the 2AM→5AM bus, and when we arrived in Banja Luka,
there were ~5 taxis waiting in the bus station. The taxi driver
accepted my HRK (although at a crazy exchange rate).

Re: [Debconf-discuss] Additional meeting room

Just a couple clarifications on reserving the Meeting Room for your event:

On 07/22/2011 04:53 PM, Andreas Tille wrote:
The room is called Meeting Room. If you would like to reserve this room
for an event the procedure is

   1. Register a new event in penta (if you dont have yet)
   2. Pick a free slot in the schedule (as said above currently
  every slot is free)

The available slots are the same time slots as the Auditorium and the
Round Room: 45 minutes in length, starting at 10:00, 11:00, 12:00 and
15:00, 16:00, 17:00, and 18:00.

   3. Send an e-mail to ta...@debian.org to request this free
  slot

If you include a second choice time slot for your event, we will be more
likely able to satisfy you in case someone else mailed around the same
time.

Also, please ask for slots more than 24 hours in the future. We cannot
guarantee scheduling events on the same day.

Thanks,
