 Running silky produces the following error:

 silky: error while loading shared libraries: libsilcclient-1.0.so.2:

I see this problem too. I just installed silky, and am unable to
start the program. Increasing the severity to 'grave' as this bug
make it impossible to use this program.

Bug#327680: denemo 0.7.4-2.1 NMU

2006-02-21 Thread Matej Vela
Geiger Guenter [EMAIL PROTECTED] writes:

 Thanks for the fix, although I think that blindly adding a dependency on
 librsvg2-common is not the correct solution for this bug.
 I still have to investigate what caused the problem.

As the changelog says, librsvg2-common is needed to get the gdk-pixbuf
loader for svg.

Denemo stores its icons in SVG format (/usr/share/denemo/pixmaps/*.svg),
and loads them via gdk-pixbuf (see call to gdk_pixbuf_new_from_file in
src/main.cpp:93).  gdk-pixbuf doesn't have built-in support for SVG;
this support is provided by /usr/lib/gtk-2.0/2.4.0/loaders/svg_loader.so
in the librsvg2-common package.

Thanks,

Matej

One other thing: I'm using ECC memory, and have ECC enabled.

Why they heck would you do that... ?

 Two reasons: the first is that I want as much stability as I can get,
 and ECC increases that.

Oh, sorry! I read that wrong. I read it as I'm using ECC memory and
have ECC /disabled/ which is what provoked the why the heck... response.

Bug#353823: Port 8080 needs to be configurable

2006-02-21 Thread Drew Parsons
Package: destar
Version: 0.1.1-3
Severity: critical

Currently destar is hardwired to use port 8080 (set in
/usr/share/destar/python/destar.py and in /usr/share/destar/python/Server.py )

This conflicts with other standalone webservers which may also have been
configured to use port 8080. 8080 is very commonly used as the port for a
local webserver not intended for external use, since it is so similar to the
normal HTTP port 80.

destar therefore needs to be able to configure the port it uses, for
instance in a file such as /etc/destar.conf.

For reference, you could compare with how ntlmaps does it
(/usr/lib/site-python/ntlmaps/lib/config.py reads values set in
/etc/ntlmaps/server.cfg).

Marking this bug as critical since it interferes with the operation of
other packages (such as ntlmaps).

Thanks,
Drew

 Good, but dovecot-lda is the most interesting part of this pre-upload
 test! I hope to hear a good feedback soon.

 Thanks for your report,

I like to work up to the interesting parts!

I've configured dovecot LDA loosely following http://wiki.dovecot.org/LDA (I
made a few changes as Debian stores deliver in a diff place etc)

..and it all seems to be working fine.

I've set up some simple sieve recipes which also seem to be filtering correctly.

The only problem I had was:

Feb 20 22:06:08 server01 postfix/local[14715]: F1D6958151: to=[EMAIL
PROTECTED], relay=local, delay=1, status=bounced (local configuration error.
Command output: Fatal: open(/etc/dovecot/dovecot.conf) failed: Permission
denied )
Feb 20 22:06:08 server01 postfix/qmgr[14701]: F1D6958151: removed

...which was fixed when i chmod'd /etc/dovecot/dovecot.conf to 644.

I assume this error was caused because by default postfix (2.2.8-9) does not
have permission to read the file?

Also, now that lda is enabled, would it make sense to include a new
dovecot.conf file that included the sample lda section?

Cheers

Alex

Bug#353827: emacs-goodies-el: please, add vm-bonus.el/vm-bogofilter.el

2006-02-21 Thread Patrice Karatchentzeff
Package: emacs-goodies-el
Version: 24.10-1
Severity: wishlist

Hi,

To interface VM with bogofilter (spam bayesian filter), you need to use
the vm-bogofilter.el file.

The file is here:

http://www.cis.upenn.edu/~bjornk/bogofilter/vm-bogofilter.el

The license is OK for Debian (GPL).

I wrote a patch for the bogofilter FAQ (English and Frenh version) on
how to use this new functionnality on the Bogofilter homepage (see
https://sourceforge.net/forum/forum.php?thread_id=1444239forum_id=209925).
The patch should be integrated soon.

I don't know how to suggest dependances (the file requires formail and
bogofilter). The better way is may be to write it with the associated
documentation (like README.Debian) without to put them in the package
(in order not to impose them to who want to use the other vm-bonus.el
functions).

To conclude, I used this file for now one week without problem on a
Debian Sarge.

Thanks,

PK

Bug#227386: libc6-dev: ENOTSUP==EOPNOTSUPP, which violates SUSv3

On Tue, Feb 21, 2006 at 06:23:21AM +, Brian M. Carlson wrote:

 Not thread safe.

Then use strerror_r().

 Also, this code does not check that it is a *POSIX*
 error code. If you check the Linux sources, you can see that there are
 many error codes (mostly for NFS) that are not standard, and therefore
 are invalid for my program.

Let's check. EBADHANDLE is 521 (fwiw, it is not #defined unless
__KERNEL__ is defined, which should not be the case for user-space
programs):

/* We want the SUSv3 version of strerror_r(), not the GNU one */
#define _XOPEN_SOURCE 600
#include errno.h
#include string.h
#include stdio.h

int main(void)
{
errno = 0;
strerror_r(EINVAL, NULL, 0);
printf(%d %s\n, errno, strerror(errno));
errno = 0;
strerror_r(521, NULL, 0);
printf(%d %s\n, errno, strerror(errno));
return 0;
}

This gives:

34 Numerical result out of range
22 Invalid argument

 I have a patch
 forthcoming which mitigates the damage and allows people that really
 want standards compliance to indicate so.

SUSv3 clearly defines how an application should indicate that it
desires standard compliance. By introducing a different schema you are
actually _breaking_ standard compliance here.

 Ok, so you don't see the ethernet/sata hangs, then? Are you using the
 VIA SATA controller or the Promise one?

Just the VIA SATA controller for now. I have a system with an A8V
(non-Deluxe version) that doesn't have the on-board Promise
controller. I put a SATA 150 TX4 in it, and I'm using two ports on
that and the two on-board VIA SATA ports. That system hasn't seen any
hanging issues either.

Could you test with the amd64-generic kernel to see if you get hangs
with the on-board Promise controller and ethernet? I was considering
putting another couple of disks in mine but don't want to spend the
cash if it'll just hang.

 Oh, sorry! I read that wrong. I read it as I'm using ECC memory and
 have ECC /disabled/ which is what provoked the why the heck...
 response.

Oh. That makes much more sense. :-)

 (I have non-ECC only because I wasn't sure if this board supported ECC)

It certainly does. I refuse to buy a motherboard that won't. The
price difference between ECC and non-ECC memory is minimal.

I think that even boards which don't support ECC memory can still make
use of ECC memory sticks. You just won't get ECC. Not sure, though.
The slots are the same so I don't really see why it wouldn't work.
That way, if you wind up with an ECC-capable motherboard later on you
can use the old memory in ECC mode.

 The maintainer list is Bcc:'ed, not Cc:'ed. After steping through the

   Description : drive multiple xterms separately or together

  Multixterm creates multiple xterms that can be driven together or
  separately.

  In its simplest form, multixterm is run with no arguments and commands are
  interactively entered in the first entry field. Press return (or click the
  new xterm button) to create a new xterm running that command.

  Keystrokes in the stdin window are redirected to all xterms started by
  multixterm. xterms may be driven separately simply by focusing on them.

  The stdin window must have the focus for keystrokes to be sent to the
  xterms. When it has the focus, the color changes to aquamarine. As
  characters are entered, the color changes to green for a second. This
  provides feedback since characters are not echoed in the stdin window.

  Typing in the stdin window while holding down the alt or meta keys sends an
  escape character before the typed characters. This provides support for
  programs such as emacs.

Why would I want to use this? I now know how to use it, but I am still
none the wiser as to what I could do with it.

You might want to rewrite the description to include some use cases for
multixterm.

Followup-For: Bug #353829

Hi,

I've found that /usr/share/xmlto/format/docbook/txt also belongs to xmlto
:-) So here's a patch to fix it. Now it works well. (Maybe other conversions
:-) should be modified as well, I've not check them).

Bug#353831: kdm: KDM tries to start XServer on XServer-less system

2006-02-21 Thread Erhard Schultchen
Package: kdm
Version: 4:3.5.1-1
Severity: normal

We have a remote-login workstation without any XServer installed. It is
meant for login using XDMCP or ssh. XDMCP login stopped working since
recent testing-upgrade. When I login from my client, e.g. using
Xnest :2 -query myhost, the xnest window remains empty. On myhost, kdm
reports:
X: cannot stat /etc/X11/X (No such file or directory), aborting.
/etc/X11/X is not executable
X: cannot stat /etc/X11/X (No such file or directory), aborting.

I don't think kdm should try to start any XServer when accessed via
XDMCP.

Bug#353832: postgresql-client: Unable to use service settings in pg_service.conf

2006-02-21 Thread Martijn van Oosterhout
Package: postgresql-client
Version: 7.4.7-6sarge1
Severity: minor

Hi,

You cannot use the pg_service.conf functionality present in the Debian
package. Example:

$ PGDATABASE=test psql
Welcome to psql 7.4.7, the PostgreSQL interactive terminal.
..snip...
$ PGSERVICE=test psql
psql (pg_wrapper): No database specified

If there was a service defined, then it would (possibly) define the
database to connect to. pg_wrapper should continue if the PGSERVICE
variable is defined.

Next, if you provide a dummy dbname to get past pg_wrapper you get:

$ PGSERVICE=test psql f
psql: ERROR: Service file '/usr/etc/postgresql/pg_service.conf' not found

The path is obviously bogus, evidently a broken SYSCONFPATH somewhere.

I've filed this as minor given that obviously this feature is rarely
used and these issues are probably fixed in later versions anyway.

Have a nice day,

 This seems to be the problem. You did not accept the changed
 configuration file and hence

 TEXMFDIST = /usr/share/texmf-{tetex,texlive}

 is not searched, as one can see from the output of kpsewhich:

The strange thing is that we have the code in tex-common's postinst

John, which version of tex-common is installed? By the way, tetex-bin's
reportbug control script is missing, I'm currently investigating this.

Right. I can actually reproduce this, now; I don't know why I couldn't
earlier.

This first warning message is caused by initialization of passdb.tdb from
scratch.

The rest of the warning messages are caused by initialization of
account_policy.tdb from scratch.

We can suppress all but the first warning by calling pdbedit -i smbpasswd -e
tdbsam -y /dev/null before calling pdbedit -i smbpasswd -e tdbsam, which
will make sure we copy any existing account policies as well (but I don't
think it's possible for there to be any?). Otherwise, just redirecting
stdout to /dev/null for the entire pdbedit command will suppress all of
these warnings, but I'm not sure that won't suppress other, more important
messages.

Bug#353833: autoconf: Should indicate where it's documentation is, instead of blaming -legal

2006-02-21 Thread Frank Küster
Package: autoconf
Version: 2.59a-7
Severity: important

The README.Debian file currently starts with:

,

| No documentation, because the Debian project has decided that the GNU
| FDL is not an acceptable license for documentation. If you disagree
| with this decision, write to [EMAIL PROTECTED] I can't
| do anything about it by myself, so filing bugs will do you no good.
| Sorry.
`

A README.Debian file is not the correct place to indicate your
disagreement with debian-legal's, or rather the project as a whole's,
decisions. More gravely, it doesn't help the user. Instead,

- This README should point to the autoconf-doc package in non-free, and
  maybe also to online versions of the document

- autoconf(1) should be patched so that the SEE ALSO section explains
  that autoconf-doc needs to be installed.

The last change has nothing to do with freeness, it should be good
practice for any package whose documentation is split off into a
separate binary package.

Bug#350305: fails to find ipod after firmware-update (ipod-mini 1.4.1)

2006-02-21 Thread Bastian Venthur
Hi Adeodato,

I've just installed amaroK 1.4 from experimental and it works like a
charm ;)

I've completely wiped all files and folders from my iPod so the disk was
empty and in fact no iPod anymore but an expensive removable disk.
Amarok recognizes the iPod as it should and creates now all necessary
files and folders automatically.

So the bug is fixed with the new version. I let it open so you can close
it when appropriate.

BTW: Amarok had another bug were it transferred all files to the iPod
but did not correctly update the iPod's database so the iPod thinks it
had only 100?/265?/500? -- don't remember the exact number anymore --
songs stored.

This bug seems to be fixed now too, as well as the bug where amaroK
failed to update the genre-database on the iPod.

Many thanks for providing the amaroK package!

Regards,

Bastian

If you're using a display manager, this is usually due to a race
condition which causes the X server and display manager not to use the
same VT. Display managers usually work around this by passing vtX
explicitly on the X server command line.

 No, this is incorrect, unless I misunderstand the German. What is
 written in the English version is (I hope) that
 /var/lib/mailman/bin/change_pw will generate new ones and mail them to
 the admins and moderators. Not that the reader is requested to email
 them to the list admins and moderators, which is how I understand the
 German version. So something like:

 Verwenden Sie /var/lib/mailman/bin/
 change_pw um neue zu erstellen und den Admins und Moderatoren
 per E-Mail zu zu senden.

You are right. A corrected version is attached. The previous version has been
proofread, but one might need to know a bit more about mailman, to catch that
one.

Thanks,
Jens

Bug#351887: bootcd-mkinitrd does not find usbcore.ko

 Hi Marc,

 Can you elaborate on why you get a kernel panic when booting this CD? I
 don't see any reason that usbcore should cause such an error, since you say
 that your CD is hda, which implies IDE.

Hello Marc,
I've experienced similar problems and I kind of solved that by changing
the setting of CDDEV removing the auto keyword and putting the right
device instead (hda in your case?).

In all my tests it seems that for all kernel different from the debian
2.6.8, the auto keyword does not work any more.
I've tested with 2.6.15 too.

Bug#353790: More info

2006-02-21 Thread Jon Kåre Hellan

I forgot to tell that I've seen this problem with kernels as far back as
2.6.8. My feeling is that it happens more frequently now than half a
year ago. I know this points in the direction of hardware problems, but
Windows works, even for large file copies. The vendor mounted two disks
and copied a 15 GB dummy file back and forth. Result OK. Test was
repeated while system was stressed. Still OK. Finally a continuous 65
hour stress test.

May be marginal timings have become more problematic over time.

I know this will be hard to track down. Suggestions for workarounds are
welcome. Is there anything like hdparm for SATA?

Regards

Jon

Bug#353836: mozilla-thunderbird: can't open firefox from a clic in a web link in thunderbird

2006-02-21 Thread Thierry B
Package: mozilla-thunderbird
Version: 1.0.7-3
Severity: minor

Hello,

when I use dpkg-reconfigure with mozilla-thunderbird, I tell him to use
the option debian so that he uses the prefered web browser from debian's
update-alternatives to open web link from Thunerderbird.

This is my update-alternatives config:

debian:/home/thierry# update-alternatives --display x-www-browser
x-www-browser - status is manual.
 link currently points to /usr/bin/firefox
/usr/bin/mozilla - priority 80
 slave x-www-browser.1.gz: /usr/share/man/man1/mozilla.1.gz
/usr/bin/konqueror - priority 100
/usr/bin/firefox - priority 70
 slave x-www-browser.1.gz: /usr/share/man/man1/firefox.1.gz
Current `best' version is /usr/bin/konqueror.

debian:/home/thierry# update-alternatives --display www-browser
www-browser - status is manual.
 link currently points to /usr/bin/firefox
/usr/bin/w3m - priority 25
 slave www-browser.1.gz: /usr/share/man/man1/w3m.1.gz
/usr/bin/firefox - priority 50
Current `best' version is /usr/bin/firefox.

But when I click on a web link, Thunderbird does nothing, but he has to
open it with firefow which is confgured ad my prefered web browser in
debian alternatives.

Thanks :-)

 This should be a symlink belonging to the perl-base package, and it
 should be pointing at /usr/lib/perl/5.8.7. Yours apparently is not.
 I suspect this is an instance of local breakage, not a packaging bug.

It is possible that the cause of this problem is a package which has
mistakenly installed to the CORE (archlib=/usr/lib/perl/5.8) rather than
vendor directories.

If such a package were to be installed *before* perl, then a directory
would be created, which dpkg would then honour when unpacking perl,
rather than creating the symlink.

Please check the output of 'dpkg -S /usr/lib/perl/5.8'. You should only
get 'perl-base' as a match. If any other packages appear, please file a
bug on that package.

Bug#353844: gnomemeeting: package does not install on etch, neither does it build

2006-02-21 Thread Peder Chr. Norgaard
Package: gnomemeeting
Version: 1.2.3-2
Severity: grave
Justification: renders package unusable

The package depends on a version of libopenh323 that is not available in
etch. Therefore it fails to install, and the consequences are pretty
dire: the packages gnome and gnome-desktop-environment fail to install,
too because of dependency on gnomemeeting.

This is the error message:

The following packages have unmet dependencies:
  gnomemeeting: Depends: libopenh323-1.18.0 (= 1.17.4) but it is not
installable
E: Broken packages

The library mentioned is not available in unstable, nor can it be found
in experimental.

I tried building from the source, but the sources also depends on
version (this time of libopenh323-dev) that isn't found anywhere.

Bug#353845: ark fails to open valid gzipped tar archives

2006-02-21 Thread Massimo Manghi
Package: ark
Version: 4:3.5.1-2
Severity: important

ark fails to open some gzipped tar archives created
with the 'compress' command from the file browser.
When run from the shell ark prints the following warning

KTar: WARNING: KTar: invalid TAR file. Header is: ml_w

and a dialog box with the message An error occurred
while trying to open the archive pops up. These
archives are valid for the traditional command
line tar utility.

uncompressing the archives with gunzip keeps ark
going like this, confirming that the problem is with
the tar archive.

Ark opens correctly other archives that it created
or that were created with the command line tar
utility, though

Bug#351359: libagg-dev: pkg-config --libs return -lagg which is not built with -fPIC and fail to link on amd64 arch.

 The problem here is that when you want to link agg into a lib/app which
 is static you don't want -lagg_pic but -lagg.

I take a look at the help of pkg-config (pkg-config --help)
and there is the --static option for static linking, so I think --libs assume
you're linking dynamically with the lib.

 No, it should not return -lagg_pic on specific architectures (!i386 to
 be precise) IMHO. But I'll think of it.

 Why don't you just spcify -lagg_pic when you know it is needed?
 (Debian-only addition, though, -lagg_pic doesn't exixt upstream, it's
 built in Debian because I know it's needed on !i386, e.g. for OOo, but
 I already patched OOo to use -lagg_pic)

This implies patching all (not that many at the moment...) packages that link
with libagg. And there is no more utility in a great tool like pkg-config if
it works on a limited number of arch and libs and you have to patch your
build system if you dont use the right ones.

 Regards,

 Rene

Thanks for taking a look at my problem.

 Why would I want to use this? I now know how to use it, but I am still

I'm not sure, but for example it could be useful for the maintenance of

Bug#347173: glibc: Romanian days are written with mixed case letters/Romanian alplhabet reordered

2006-02-21 Thread Eddy Petrişor
On 2/10/06, Denis Barbier [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote:

 http://publications.eu.int/code/en/en-5000700.htm

I have worked last night on the finalization of the glibc patch for
Romanian locale.

I have added comments that would make it clear for everybody about the
situation of the ro_RO locale and why it has been changed.
I have made a reference to the link above and explained the change (I
have modified the currency reference definitions in
locale/iso-4217.def so no error would be generated)

All is fine and dandy on my side except the LC_ADDRESS field, where I
haven't found any refference to a method to test the postal_fmt.

Could you help with this issue? The correct format for RO should be:

Name
Street, street number (if any), (here follows the block, stairs,
floor, flat - if any) (after the street number, there could be a new
line)
sector (only for the capital - Bucharest), city/town/village name,
postal code (sometimes not written), county (in Romanian judeţ)
phone
fax
country

Notes:
- the line containig the postal code can sometimes have the format:
postal code, city/town/village name, county (in Romanian judeţ)
- adding the phone and fax info sometimes leads to the leimination of
the country information
- country info is (probably as in many other places) optional and
always appears on the last position
- having a postal box changes a little the format (see below)

If the format, as it is now, is of the format above, then the attached
patch should fix the locale issues for Romanian.

I would be interested whether you use plain passwords, NIS, LDAP or

You could also add some debug output to the code starting line 409 to
find out how $new_gid is determined.

Bug#353723: python2.3-rpy: library path does not allow loading all R modules

2006-02-21 Thread baptiste13
Hello,

thanks for your quick answer. I am in fact running stable, with a few
packages from testing, that's the reason I am using older versions.

with python2.3-rpy, version 0.4.1-4 (from stable), ldd gives me:

$ ldd /usr/lib/python2.3/site-packages/_rpy.so
linux-gate.so.1 =  (0xe000)
libR.so = /usr/lib/R/lib/libR.so (0x40009000)
libpthread.so.0 = /lib/tls/libpthread.so.0 (0x40263000)

libdl.so.2 = /lib/tls/libdl.so.2 (0x407a2000)
/lib/ld-linux.so.2 (0x8000)
libncurses.so.5 = /lib/libncurses.so.5 (0x407a7000)

No libRlapack.so.

After upgrading python2.3-rpy and r-base-core to the versions in testing
(the same as yours: 0.4.6-3 and 2.2.1-6), I get:

$ ldd /usr/lib/python2.3/site-packages/_rpy2021.so
linux-gate.so.1 =  (0xe000)
libR.so = /usr/lib/R/lib/libR.so (0x4000a000)
libRlapack.so = /usr/lib/R/lib/libRlapack.so (0x4025c000)
libpthread.so.0 = /lib/tls/libpthread.so.0 (0x40417000)
libc.so.6 = /lib/tls/libc.so.6 (0x40429000)
libblas.so.3 = /usr/lib/atlas/libblas.so.3 (0x4056)
libg2c.so.0 = /usr/lib/libg2c.so.0 (0x408a9000)
libm.so.6 = /lib/tls/libm.so.6 (0x408d2000)
libgcc_s.so.1 = /lib/libgcc_s.so.1 (0x408f7000)
libreadline.so.5 = /lib/libreadline.so.5 (0x40902000)
libpcre.so.3 = /usr/lib/libpcre.so.3 (0x40932000)
libbz2.so.1.0 = /usr/lib/libbz2.so.1.0 (0x40942000)
libz.so.1 = /usr/lib/libz.so.1 (0x40951000)
libdl.so.2 = /lib/tls/libdl.so.2 (0x40964000)
/lib/ld-linux.so.2 (0x8000)
libncurses.so.5 = /lib/libncurses.so.5 (0x40968000)

and the program now works as expected. I checked that python2.4-rpy also
works.

So it looks that the problem only exists for the version in stable. Given
that an easy workaround exists, it's no big deal. Keeping this bug report
around as documentation is probably sufficient.

Cheers,
BC

 Hi Adeodato,

Hi,

 I've just installed amaroK 1.4 from experimental and it works like a
 charm ;)

 I've completely wiped all files and folders from my iPod so the disk was
 empty and in fact no iPod anymore but an expensive removable disk.
 Amarok recognizes the iPod as it should and creates now all necessary
 files and folders automatically.

 So the bug is fixed with the new version. I let it open so you can close
 it when appropriate.

  Thanks for checking this, and good to know!

 Looks like samba included with debian-sarge has know bug witch affect that
 way that OSX tiger clients can't connect to server running debian sarge
 and samba.

Jerry, this is bug #2973 in bugzilla...

Is the relevant patch available somewhere so that we can see whether
it may be fixed in Debian's 3.0.14 (aka backport the patch)? The case
seems to fall among fixes that are acceptable for the Debian stable
distribution, assuming we backport the fix (as having 3.0.2x in Debian
stable is out of question for well known Debian policy reasons).

Bug#315289: Orphaning jython

retitle 315289 O: jython -- Python seamlessly integrated with Java
thanks mate

Hi all,

This is an FYI that I've just orphaned jython, as of version 2.1.0-21.
As when I orphaned it last June, my time is squeezed and I don't use java
much at all nowadays.

Again, see #315289 for a summary of relevant issues if you are looking
at adopting it. This is one of those packages that is keeping python2.1
in the archive, so I expect someone will either want to take it over or
have it removed completely at some stage.

If you are adopting it and you have any questions, please feel free to
mail me.

Ben.

Bug#315289: Orphaning jython

 This is an FYI that I've just orphaned jython, as of version 2.1.0-21.
 As when I orphaned it last June, my time is squeezed and I don't use java
 much at all nowadays.

 Again, see #315289 for a summary of relevant issues if you are looking
 at adopting it. This is one of those packages that is keeping python2.1
 in the archive, so I expect someone will either want to take it over or
 have it removed completely at some stage.

 If you are adopting it and you have any questions, please feel free to
 mail me.

If you are okay with this I will adopt it under the Debian Java
Maintainers group coordination. I will take care of it and do an upload
to show this in the next days.

Thanks for maintaining jython in Debian in the past.

Cheers,
Michael

Bug#353853: gnobog_0.4.3-2.2(m68k/unstable/poseidon): fails to build from source

2006-02-21 Thread Stephen R Marenka
Package: gnobog

gnobog fails to build from source on m68k and sparc. It looks to me like
you've been bitten by timestamp skew. If you're unfamiliar with that,
search /usr/share/doc/autotools-dev/README.Debian.gz for skew.

Bug#353856: konqueror's cache mix up with phpldapadmin

2006-02-21 Thread Yann Forget
Package: konqueror
Version: 4:3.5.1-1
Severity: normal

Hi,

Konqueror's cache is mixed up while using PhpLDAPadmin.
Data from a LDAP account is displayed in another account, and data sent when
commiting changes is wrong.
This renders Konqueror unusable for this task.
Reloading the page and/or purging PhpLDAPadmin cache doesn't solve the problem.
This problem doesn't appear with Firefox on the same machine.

PhpLDAPadmin is on a Debian server:
ii  phpldapadmin   0.9.5-3sarge2

The LDAP server is reached via a SSH tunnel.

Thanks,
Yann
