Bug#474320: Should this package be orphaned?
Christoph Berg schrieb: Package: steam Severity: important Version: 2.2.31-4.2 User: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Usertags: proposed-orphan Hi, steam hasn't seen maintainer uploads in quite a while, and is lagging behind upstream. I suggest we try to find a new maintainer for it. I am sorry to say that, but I wasn't able to do some work for Debian and will not be in the near future. I am lacking a Debian installation at the moment and due to missing net connection most of the time, I can't use my internet server for packaging. The upstream has some packaging skill an they might be intrested in maintain this by themselves. They're actually maintaining Debian sarge scripts in distrib/debian-3.1 on their own. They only need a good sponsor. Bye, Alain PS: Sorry for the missing signature. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of unsubscribe. Trouble? Contact [EMAIL PROTECTED]
Bug#199520: metacity ignores fullscreen windows
Am Mittwoch, den 19.09.2007, 19:28 +0200 schrieb Sven Arvidsson: On Fri, 2007-09-14 at 20:25 +0200, Matthias Bläsing wrote: I have a part time dual-head setup. It seems, that metacity ignores the window. This part isn't limited to a dual-head setup is it? I can reproduce it, but I'm not sure if I would call this a bug. I have the same problem and while this is not limited to a dual-head setup, it makes the problem even more annoying. So basicly I can't really use the system in this mode, as I have to switch out of full screenmode, move the window to the normal first screen and switch back to full screen again. Isn't the actual bug that the window doesn't appear on the right screen? The Bug is, that new windows don't appear on the currently active screen, aka where the mouse is. If you have an additional screen which is dedicated to another program, this gets even more annoying. Are you using Xinerama or something else? I had a mergedfb setup with this problem and I just switched to xrandr, which shows exactly the same problem. Bye, Alain

Have you had a chance to try this version yet? This is fixed too... I have another little thing though: If I add a new last.fm Radio, e.g. for similar artists of 'UNKLE', then it will create the Radio 'Artists similar to UNKLE'. If I play it, it will create the Radio 'UNKLE's Similar Artists'. Both play the same Radio. This might be translation-related and also be already reported somewhere else. Bug#439204: Playlist gets a little mixed up - Songs are shown at wrong places
Package: rhythmbox Version: 0.10.1-1+b1 Severity: minor --- Please enter the report below this line. --- I guess this is some kind of corner case. Symptom: Songs appears at wrong places Scenario: I use a automatic, filtered playlist with the following restrictions: * Rating = 4 * Genre does not contain XMAS * Length = 15:00 The List is sorted descending by last-played. Play is set to 'random-by-age'. Every n-th play (didn't realize a pattern, but it happens pretty often) when rhythmbox jumps to the next song, it actually doesn't change it's position in the playlist, but it replaces the old song with the current one. It can be best recognized by looking at 'last-played', since it's value doesn't fit into the otherwise sorted list. I haven't checked another setup. --- System information. --- Architecture: powerpc Kernel: Linux 2.6.18-4-powerpc Debian Release: 4.0 500 unstableftp2.de.debian.org 500 testing ftp2.de.debian.org 500 stable security.debian.org 500 stable ftp2.de.debian.org --- Package information. --- Depends (Version) | Installed =-+-== gconf2 (= 2.10.1-2) | 2.18.0.1-3 libart-2.0-2 (= 2.3.18) | 2.3.19-3 libatk1.0-0 (= 1.13.2) | 1.18.0-2 libavahi-client3 (= 0.6.13) | 0.6.16-3etch1 libavahi-common3 (= 0.6.10) | 0.6.16-3etch1 libavahi-glib1(= 0.6.12) | 0.6.16-3etch1 libbonobo2-0 (= 2.15.0) | 2.18.0-2 libbonoboui2-0(= 2.15.1) | 2.18.0-5 libc6 (= 2.6-1) | 2.6-2 libcairo2 (= 1.4.0) | 1.4.10-1+b2 libdbus-1-3(= 1.1.1) | 1.1.1-3 libdbus-glib-1-2(= 0.74) | 0.74-1 libexpat1 (= 1.95.8) | 1.95.8-3.4 libfontconfig1 (= 2.4.0) | 2.4.2-1.2 libfreetype6 (= 2.3.5) | 2.3.5-1 libgconf2-4 (= 2.13.5) | 2.18.0.1-3 libglade2-0 (= 1:2.6.1) | 1:2.6.1-1 libglib2.0-0 (= 2.12.9) | 2.12.13-1 libgnome-keyring0(= 0.8) | 0.8.1-2 libgnome-media0 | 2.18.0-2+b1 libgnome2-0 (= 2.17.3) | 2.18.0-4 libgnomecanvas2-0 (= 2.11.1) | 2.14.0-2 libgnomeui-0 (= 2.17.1) | 2.18.1-2 libgnomevfs2-0 (= 1:2.17.90) | 1:2.18.1-2 libgnutls13 (= 1.6.3-0) | 1.6.3-1 libgpod2 | 0.5.2-2 libgstreamer-plugins-base0.10-0 (= 0.10.13) | 0.10.14-2 libgstreamer0.10-0 (= 0.10.13) | 0.10.14-1 libgtk2.0-0(= 2.10.12-3) | 2.10.13-1 libhal1(= 0.5.9) | 0.5.9.1-2 libice6 (= 1:1.0.0) | 1:1.0.1-2 liblircclient0| 0.8.0-9.2 libmusicbrainz4c2a (= 2.1.5) | 2.1.5-1 libnautilus-burn4 | 2.18.2-1 libnotify1 (= 0.4.4) | 0.4.4-3 libnotify1-gtk2.10| liborbit2 (= 1:2.14.1) | 1:2.14.3-0.1 libpango1.0-0 (= 1.16.4) | 1.16.5-1 libpng12-0 (= 1.2.13-4) | 1.2.15~beta5-1 libpopt0(= 1.10) | 1.10-3 libsexy2 (= 0.1.8) | 0.1.10-1 libsm6| 1:1.0.1-3 libsoup2.2-8 (= 2.2.98) | 2.2.98-2 libtotem-plparser1(= 2.17.5) | 2.18.2-1 libx11-6 | 2:1.0.3-7 libxcursor1( 1.1.2) | 1.1.7-4 libxext6 | 1:1.0.1-2 libxfixes3 (= 1:4.0.1) | 1:4.0.1-5 libxi6| 1:1.0.1-4 libxinerama1 | 1:1.0.1-4.1 libxml2 (= 2.6.29) | 2.6.29.dfsg-1 libxrandr2 (= 2:1.2.0) | 2:1.2.1-1 libxrender1 | 1:0.9.1-3 python2.4 (= 2.3.90) | 2.4.4-3 zlib1g

Well, I actually haven't used etherwake since a long time, so I wouldn't mind dropping it. But looking into possible differences, it seems etherwake supports passwords in form of a MAC address or an IP address. Bug#360877: liferea: Cannot fetch feeds after switching networks (WLAN - VPN)
Package: liferea Version: 1.0.7-1 Severity: normal This bug is a bit weird. I am usually in two networks: Home, where I connect using wlan, and University, where I connect through a wlan connection to a VPN via vpnc. If I switch from my home network to the university network, liferea cannot fetch new feeds until I restartet it. (the network device changes from wlan0 to tun0) If I loose the current connection (uni / home) and reconnect to the network it is no problem at all, even if the ip changes. If I switch from the uni network to my home network it works. (I might remember this incorrectly, though. I will test this tonight again.) Is there any news on this? I doubt that you can actually contact all the authors and get them to agree to license their work DFSG free. Actually only a part might be enough though. Also there currently is no way to download this file anywhere on the web, beside through a paid fileplanet account. I got that file and actually textures are missing, if you don't have the original game data. Due to the file not openly available, no license being attached to the actual mod files and missing textures, I'd say this bug should be closed. Bye, Alain -- We are born naked, wet, and hungry.
