I tried it often and hoped for a solution in newer releases, but it is still broken. Currently I tried to install a backup on my Palm, because I lost all my data on it, but I is not possible. :-( My Pilot is connected via /dev/ircomm0. I started Kpilot, choose "Backup" and start sync on Palm. After message that on Palm is no name stored and the backup has a name (my name) the sync process will begin, but get stuck on "Conduit kpilot-conduit-calendar" and Palm will finish the connection after some seconds. It will underline wrong words in red. It will also work if I choose "German dictionary". If I configure KDE for German language environment (all menus are in German), it doesn't work anymore. There is nothing to be checked, even I enabled it in KMail "Option" menu. A manual Spell checking by menu entry "Extra" will also not work. Hi,
after recent grub update my system was not bootable anymore.
After BIOS I saw message "Welcome to GRUB" and the PC was rebooted.
I had to boot from a Knoppix CD and installed the old GRUB 0.97
again.
Please fix this issue.

Most errors could be solved or workarounded easily. What is your next suggestion? Using a simpler MUA like Icedove. I was a bit frustrated about this new bug (I had several bugs and
lost functions in the past since KDE moved from 3 to 4) and my

a American letter box, but if you like to have it set,

If I call akonadiconsole in Terminal, I will get the same crash
as on Kmail start. I cannot do anything with akonadiconsole.

I also tried to copy the directory from a new user into my directory (including chown), but that failed also. I also tried to purge and reinstall all MySQL packages, akonadi-server and akonadiconsole without any success. I tried to debug akonadiconsole and got attached backtrace. It seems it crashed in /usr/lib/libmysqlclient_r.so.16 probably a NULL pointer dereference. Should I report a bug for libmysqlclient16? In akonadiconsole I could see, that akonadi is not running. In "Server"->"Configure Server" was point "Use internal MySQL server" unchecked and the server config below was not complete. "Host", "Username" and "Password" was empty. So the problem seems to be a not working MySQL server setting, but akonadi should not crash on this. I used KDE components 4.3 without any problem and after upgrading to 4.4 the issue occured. Hi,
because Geeqie is the successor of Gqview, I expect same behaviour.
But function "Rotate" doesn't work propperly.
If I choose e. g. "Rotate 90° right" all pictures in current
list will be displayed rotated and if I choose
"Apply orientation to image content" no change will be
done on the picture.
Please fix this. The best would be to have the same behaviour
as in Gqview, there the image was changed immediately, not after
clicking another menu entry ("Apply orientation to image content").

Hi Martin, I'm still interested in having Afio in Squeeze, but I think we had done all possible to find out the meaning of the original author and have now a long discussion for this issue. Unfortunately I have no news on this. I'm still convinced that Afio is Free software even if the 25 years old license text is not perfect. All contributors over the last years had the same impression. Afio was and is intended to be Free Software. It would be a pity if it will be removed after this long live in Debian. I still hope for comments of other release managers or maintainers of r-depends. This option was removed from kernel in 2.6.12, but there is a new possibility
for computers with short 40 wire
IDE cables to have UDMA100.
One could add it to the array of such devices. Here is the patch I use for

It will give: "raw1394 - failed to get handle: No such file or directory.". What could I do to get dvgrab working again? There is a new module /lib/modules/2.6.22-1-686/kernel/drivers/firewire/firewire-ohci.ko. But I have no idea how it works with dvgrab. Could you please enlighten me?
