Bug#304542: passwd: add to chage man page how to remove account expiration

2005-04-13 Thread Federico Grau
Package: passwd
Version: 1:4.0.3-31sarge1
Severity: minor
Tags: patch

It would be good if the man page for chage documented how to remove the
expiration from an account. I have a simple patch attached with a
suggested change.

Bug#308081: Another similar problem

2005-06-05 Thread Federico Amoruso
Hi,
perhaps this can help you, I hope.

I'm having a similar problem with Epson Perfection 1260/Photo.

But the point is that I experienced the same problem some months ago
when libsane upgraded.
I solved it downgrading libsane from 1.0.14-2 to 1.0.13-3.

The situation today is instead:

I'm sorry, but I have no technical idea about what happened.

After some weaks all came back right, with the new sarge libsane upgrade
(version ?). Up to the newest version (1.0.15-9), when the system went
down again.

Bug#325642: postfix: control file missing "Replaces: mail-transport-agent" entry

The postfix package does not have a "Replaces: mail-transport-agent"
entry in its control file. Many other MTAs (such as courier-mta, exim,
xmail) have this entry and it is suggested in the debian policy (

Bug#331013: possible workaround

2005-10-17 Thread Federico Grau
I was experiencing a similar problem, some ogg files were not playing with
xmms... xmms would not recognize the bitrate, try for a few seconds, then move
onto the next ogg file.

I found that if I changed the MPEG Layer 1/2/3 plugin settings (libmpg123.so)
on Options to Extension (previously set to Extensino and content), it worked
better. I imagine that the mpg plugin is incorrectly detecting some ogg files
as mp3 and choking on that.

Bug#406926: Mangles links which contain international characters, then crashes when attempting to save the file

2007-01-14 Thread Federico Heinz

Package: openoffice.org-writer
Version: 2.0.4.dfsg.2-2
Severity: important

To reproduce, open a new Writer document, and enter an UTF-8-encoded
URL, such as:

   http://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/M%C3%A1quina_de_Turing

(That's the Spanish Wikipedia article on Turing Machines). Enter a space
after the URL, so that it gets automatically converted into a link.

Now, the link it generates is invalid: it has turned the encoded letter
representation into the letter itself:

   http://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Máquina_de_Turing

I don't know whether this happens when it is running under a non-UTF-8
locale. My machine is UTF-8, and it does this every time.

This is bad in itself, for now we have a link that does not work, but it
gets worse: when you try to save the file, OOo will crash, and fail to
save it. Fortunately (and rather unexplainably), the recovery copy will
be there when it starts again, but you won't be able to save that either.

It took me a couple of hours to figure out why I couldn't save a rather
large file, I guess Jane R. User would have been completely stumped.

adding "ruby1.8" to the list of libraries to search for (that appears to
be how debian packages the ruby library).

2006-12-14 Thread Federico Ceratto
Package: wnpp
Severity: see below

* Package name: netdisco
  Version : 0.95.0
  Upstream Author : Name <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
* URL : http://netdisco.org/
* License : BSD
  Programming Lang: Perl
Description : Netdisco is a network management application
targeted at large networks. Data is collected into a Postgres database
using SNMP and presented with a clean web interface.

Designed for moderate to large networks, configuration information and
connection data for network devices
are retrieved by SNMP. With Netdisco you can locate the switch port of
an end-user system by IP or MAC
address. Data is stored using a SQL database for scalability and speed.
Layer-2 topology protocols such as
CDP (Cisco Discovery Protocol) optionally provides automatic discovery
of the network topology.

The network is inventoried by both device model and operating system
(like IOS). Netdisco uses router ARP
tables and L2 switch MAC forwarding tables to locate nodes on physical
ports and track them by their IP
addresses. For each node, a time stamped history of the ports it has
visited and the IP addresses it has
used is maintained.

Netdisco gets all its data, including topology information, with SNMP
polls and DNS queries. It does not
use CLI access and has no need for privilege passwords. Security
features include a wire-side Wireless
Access Point (AP) locator.

Bug#360460: offer to help update pam

2006-09-22 Thread Federico Grau
Etch is "testing", I'm interested in getting the pam in "unstable" updated.

If you say not now ... when can that happen?

While I understand the desire to freeze pam for etch, can the pam rlimits
patch get added (this is critical to get realtime kernel support from the
kernel especially important for multimedia and audio applications).

I am willing to invest time and help with this.

thanks for the response,
donfede

Bug#425434: Heartbeat-2 taking up all resources

2007-05-21 Thread Federico Belvisi
Package: heartbeat-2
Version: 2.0.7-2

Architecture: arm
I'm using a Linksys NSLU2 with Debian Etch stable. I tried to set up a simple
failover between nslu2 and a Gentoo server (i386). The only thing i want to
failover is dhcp3-server (no ip failover, only dhcp3-server). I installed the
stable heartbeat on gentoo and the stable branch heartbeat on Debian. Gentoo is
primary, Debian/NSLU2 is backup.
I configured all the things up but soon i noticed that there were some little
problems: gentoo complained that the heartbeat versions were different, although
some failover was working. The problem was with auto_failback not working. I
soon realized that in a newbie fashion i installed heartbeat instead of
heartbeat-2 on Debian. I removed the old heartbeat, installed heartbeat-2 and as
soon as installation was at the end, my little nslu2 was slowing down. After 1
minute i realized that the only thing was to shutdown the nslu2. I mounted the
nslu2 hard disk on pc and performed regular maintenance and deleted symlinks in
order not to let heartbeat-2 start at boot. I double checked configuration files
and they were the same as they were when "the old" heartbeat (branch 1.) was
installed, and that they are the same as on Gentoo server. I booted the nslu2,
and all was fine. Load averages were between 0.50 and 1. I then decided to start
heartbeat-2 so i typed "/etc/init.d/heartbeat start". System started to slow
down, being less responsive. I typed "top" just to see what was process
activity. Heartbeat was using many (maybe 43%) of memory, and load averages were
steeply raising: in about 2 minutes load average was some like 15. I waited some
minutes more but the shell wasn't updating (even if ssh session was still up),
so i decided to shutdown again the nslu2.

I retried upgrading heartbeat-2 from testing repository (version 2.0.8-1), but
things were the same as above.

I think heartbeat-2 on arm is doing something bad, by taking up all resources
(cpu, memory). This don't happen with package heartbeat.

As you see it has about 32Mb ram + 500mb swap. At the moment there are some
daemons running, like ssh, apache, mysql, and heartbeat v1 and virtual memory is
moderately empty. No particular task is done, just a "white running" with
services up with default configurations (i have yet to configure them). A
typical "top" header is here:

I found something interesting in /var/log/messages: i copy a little of it here
because i found something strange. After starting heartbeat-2 there are kernel
messages complaining on memory. There are no log like that when i started
heartbeat v1. By converse, this happens every time i started heartbeat-2.

On this page i only found .deb packages for i386 architecture, but i'm using
this on an arm architecture. I found some source .rpm for opensuse but porting
it to debian arm is a little too difficult to me.
I'll give a try anyway in a spare time.

The pages i was looking at was the one told by Andrew Beekhof, specifically
this:

http://software.opensuse.org/download/server:/ha-clustering/

that has a 2.0.9 version but only for i386, not arm. He said that 2.0.8 has some
memory leak among other problems.

I tried this link, I had a nice adventure compiling this package but eventually
i ended up with a correct .deb.

Anyway it doesn't work, it is like the official Debian packages, it eat up the
cpu and shows the same behaviour as before, so no good. :(

Tomorrow i'll try the bleeding edge package and i'll let you know.

I tried to compile this but it has some problem. I think something in
debianization doens't work, since it loops compiling. I discovered that after
10h of compiling... I'm not so skillful on such things.

Bug#425434: #425434: Heartbeat-2 taking up all resources

2007-08-01 Thread Federico Belvisi
I can't see the new 2.1.2-1 on packages.debian.org for arm architecture: on
download page, it only shows 2.1.1-1 even on source package, so i can't compile
it from source for my architecture.

I read on internet that other people affected with a similar problem with other
packages used

echo 1 > /proc/sys/vm/overcommit_memory

I tried this and I solved some problems I had with other packages, but nothing
changed on heartbeat 2.x.

I'll give a try when 2.1.2-1 will hit packages.debian.org.
Thank you for your interest in this bug report.

Sorry for my ultra late reply, I had some other works to do in the last months.
I remember i tried when the 2.1.2-1 was built for arm, but i am running stable
and i obviously couldn't install as-is on stable branch. I downloaded the source
deb package and tried to build for stable, but i wasn't able to accomplish this:
it loops forever, it seems looping. It does configure, make and at a certain
point it restart configure and so on.

I guess I have to upgrade to testing and try this version, unfortunately atm i
have little time to accomplish this. Maybe in the next week or two i can give it
a try.

I'm really sorry.

Bug#409738: run nscd daemon as a non-privileged user

2007-02-04 Thread Federico Grau
Package: nscd
Version: 2.3.6.ds1-10
Severity: wishlist

The nscd daemon has support to run as a non-privileged (ie: non-root)
user account via the "server-user" configuration file option. There is
no explantion why this is not the case in the README.Debian (there is no
README.Debian). Could an install time option be presented to enable
this option and/or could a system account be created with the package
(much like other system daemon accounts: postfix, sshd, ntp, hal).

thank you (and thanks for the excellent work),

Hello Sune,

Thanks for the response. Unfortunately I don't see an option to start ksim
frmo the "add new panel" menu (I've logged out/back in to restart kicker, I
reinstalled ksim). However I am a little behind on updates and my kicker is
still version 3.5.4-2+b1. I'll update later today and give it another try.

I still think it would be worthwhile to include your advice to start the app
in a README.Debian file.

take care,

Bug#361558: alsa-firmware-loaders: firmware loading for tascam us-122 not working w/ udev

2006-04-08 Thread Federico Grau
Package: alsa-firmware-loaders
Version: 1.0.10-1
Severity: normal

On my stable/sarge system, the hotplug scripts correctly load the firmware
for the tascam us-122 usb sound card (asla module snd_usb_usx2y).

Unfortunately on my unstable/sid system the sound card does not automatically
get detected. I was able to get it working by adding the following lines to
/etc/udev/udev.rules

# TASCAM US-122 usb sound card.
SYSFS{idVendor}=="1604", SYSFS{idProduct}=="8006",
RUN+="/etc/hotplug/usb/tascam_fw"
SYSFS{idVendor}=="1604", SYSFS{idProduct}=="8007",
RUN+="/etc/hotplug/usb/tascam_fpga"

While this gets the sound card working, I am pretty sure this is not the
correct place to put such configuration.

The hotplug package conflicts with udev / hal packages, so it can not be
installed.

Hi,

Today I did an upgrade of the KDE packages and I can report *verbatim* all the
problems and behaviours of Konqueror reported by Brian Bassett.

As suggested by Brian, rebooting fixed the problem.

I have Debian Etch/Testing machine on dual Xeon, Linux 2.6.16-2-686-smp (from a
Debian image).

Just to let you know.

Bug#337524: libogre-dev works perfectly well here

I don't know which mirror you exactly use but the current version of the
ogre-plugins-cgprogrammanager package depends on libdevil1c2, not
libdevil1c2. Also, libogre-dev works perfectly well with the last
libopenexr-dev package in unstable.

Can you please provide your /etc/apt/sources.list file and a complete

Sorry for the long delay. I've test it got stuck during shutdown:
# strace -p 5612
Process 5612 attached - interrupt to quit
--- SIGSTOP (Stopped (signal)) @ 0 (0) ---
--- SIGSTOP (Stopped (signal)) @ 0 (0) ---
futex(0x808a3c8, FUTEX_WAIT, 2, NULL
Process 5612 detached

But only with kernel-2.6.12-rc(1-2), with previous kernel works without
problems. Now I have updated to newer version and works even on 2.6.12-rc2.

Case closed.

The Python db-sig mailing list is the right place for such a discussion.
Access to database metadata is under discussion for inclusion in DBAPI

This is _very_well_ documented in the Python DBAPI-2.0 document (PEP

the psycopg mailing list (see http://lists.initd.org/) or to the psycopg

Bug#313610: ITP: libnoise -- a portable, open-source, coherent noise-generating library for C++

2005-06-14 Thread Federico Di Gregorio
Package: wnpp
Severity: wishlist
Owner: Federico Di Gregorio <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>

* Package name: libnoise
  Version : 0.9.0
  Upstream Author : Jason Bevins
* URL : http://libnoise.sourceforge.net/
* License : LGPL
  Description : a portable, open-source, coherent noise-generating library
for C++

libnoise is a portable C++ library that is used to generate coherent noise,
a type of smoothly-changing noise. libnoise can generate Perlin noise,
ridged multifractal noise, and other types of coherent-noise. Coherent noise
is often used by graphics programmers to generate natural-looking textures,
planetary terrain, and other things.

Double-checked. In my home directory, the only file matching the pattern
'.*gtk*' is ~/.gtkrc-1.2-gnome2 which has the following contents:

# Autowritten by gnome-settings-daemon. Do not edit

include "/home/jijo/.gtkrc.mine"

In /etc, there are the contents of /etc/gtk and /etc/gtk-2.0, which are
all default. /etc/gtk and /etc/gtk-2.0 are owned by libgtk1.2-common and
libgtk2.0-bin. I just reinstalled both, but this did not change
anything. I had also previously reinstalled all packages installed that
matched the pattern '*guile*', to no avail.

Anything else I can do to help fix this problem and/or help you track
down the bug further?

Cheers!

Bug#312109: gnucash: Segmentation Fault in guile-1.6

2005-07-09 Thread Federico Sevilla III
Hi Thomas,

Just a follow-up. I purged GnuCash and all dependencies I could track
down that didn't cause other applications I have installed to be
removed, then reinstalled them, but to no avail. GnuCash still crashes
with a segmentation fault in guile-1.6.

I don't know if this will be worth anything, but here's the list of
applications I was able to purge and then reinstall (not just "apt-get
--reinstall"):

bonobo gconf gnucash gnucash-common guile-1.6 guile-1.6-libs
guile-1.6-slib libbonobo2 libdate-manip-perl libefs1
libfinance-quote-perl libgal-data libgal23 libgconf11
libgdk-pixbuf-gnome2 libgdk-pixbuf2 libghttp1 libgnomeprint-bin
libgnomeprint-data libgnomeprint15 libgtkhtml1.1-3 libguile-ltdl-1
libguppi16 libgwrapguile1 libhtml-tableextract-perl libltdl3 liboaf0
libofx1 libosp4 libqthreads-12 libzvt2 oaf slib

Before running GnuCash, I also removed all files and directories from my
home directory matching the case-insensitive patterns '*gnucash*',
'.*gnucash*', '*gtk*' and '.*gtk*':

~/.gnucash
~/.gnome/GnuCash
~/.gnome/accels/GnuCash
~/.gtkrc-1.2-gnome2

Again, is there anything else I can do to help you track down this
problem? This is a fresh install of Sarge, not an upgrade from Woody or
some previous snapshot of Sid.

Just in case it will help, here's a full list of packages installed
(suited for COLUMNS=143 since COLUMNS=80 truncates some package names).

Bug#312109: gnucash: Segmentation Fault in guile-1.6

2005-07-16 Thread Federico Sevilla III
Hi Thomas,

I made a fresh installation of Sarge and found that still GnuCash would
segfault. I installed bug-buddy and reported this to the GNOME Bugzilla
and it was marked as a duplicate of a previous report[1].

[1] http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=170444

I checked out that report and in the process of answering the
developer's questions discovered that GnuCash crashes with my default
LANG, which is en_PH. However, when I override this and set LANG=C,
GnuCash works fine.

I hope this will help you. I'm also submitting a comment to the said
bugzilla entry.

Cheers!

 --> Jijo

Instead of building using ./configure (that creates a new set of
libraries) can you test with the buildall.sh script
in /usr/share/doc/libogre5? Just run it from the ogrenew directory.

Bug#328097: missing -dev dependencies

2005-09-13 Thread Federico Di Gregorio
Package: x-window-system-dev
Version: 6.8.2.dfsg.1-7
Severity: wishlist

Just wondering if x-window-system-dev isn't supposed to also depend on the
following -dev packages:

libxres-dev
libxvmc-dev
libdmx-dev?
libxdmcp-dev
libxinerama-dev
libxkbui-dev
libxss-dev
libxxf86dga-dev
libxxf86misc-dev

(All more or less related to the xlib-dev transition.)

Yes. Unfortunately I didn't noticed that both exr and x.org glu are C++

Don't you have an official sponsor? Anyway I'll download the sources and
rebuild with gcc 4.0 right now and upload after you confirm you
"official" sponsor is not doing this.

Bug#323178: Please, upload a zope-common/zope-debhelper based package in experimental

2005-08-15 Thread Federico Sevilla III
Hi,

On June 12 this year, I received an email from Martin Krafft about
turning over my Zope packages to the Debian Zope team, and I accepted.
He replied saying that he'd see how he could include my Zope packages
(currently zope-externaleditor and zope-docfindereverywhere) into the
pool that the Debian Zope team manages during DebConf5. Unfortunately,
that was the last I heard from him. He's presumably very busy with a lot
of other, more important work, which is understandable, of course.

In the meantime, I don't know what to do to complete the turnover of my
packages to the Debian Zope team. I would really like to help facilitate
this turnover, since I'm confident that with my packages under the care
of the Debian Zope team (I'm also on the mailing list), maintainance
work such as your (Fabio) bug report with attached patches will be
effected much quicker than when a member of the Debian Zope team has to
submit a bug, with patches, that I then work on and submit to my sponsor
Andreas Tille, which he will then have to upload to the Debian pool.

Please advise. If all the Debian Zope team has to do is "hijack" my
package and change the maintainer field, please feel free to do this. I
am signing this message to serve as some sort of authorization if this
is the best approach.

Bug report is quoted in full after this text for reference.

Cheers!

 --> Jijo

Package: mozilla-firefox
Version: 1.0.4-2sarge2

Version 1.0.4-2sarge2 of mozilla-firefox seems to have an important

We're in the middle of the gcc 4 transition. The new package will use
the c2 version of all C++ libraries and I was waiting for them to hit
the archive.

I know about this (and others) FTBFS. Ogre was never compiled on some of
the arches we support. Unfortunately some of the errors are really
obscure for me (I work only on i386, amd64 and powerpc). Any suggestion
on how to fix them (apart from forwading upstream) is welcome.

In all my machine /usr is mounter read-only and remounted read-write by
Dpkg::Pre-Invoke in apt.conf. I use this kind of conf by years and I expect
a package to not touch /usr during re-configuration.

This is not a mass bug filling, because I think it's not a widestream
problem, and because I've never encountered this kind of problem with other
packages. Maybe this could be discussed for mass bug filing?

In this machine I have 2414 packages installed and I searched using grep
in all my postinst for dpkg-reconfigure. Results:
Out of 2414 only 10 refers to dpkg-reconfigure:
o bugzilla.postinst
o cupsys.postinst
o gpm.postinst
o libnss-ldap.postinst
o pychecker.postinst
o slapd.postinst
o squid.postinst
o tetex-bin.postinst
o xserver-common.postinst
o xserver-xfree86.postinst
And from this list only gpm.postinst and tetex-bin.postinst referts to
install-info. So this problems seems to affect tetex-bin too.

This search is just to take a quick postinst-tour.

True, this is the first time I hit this problem.

After a quick tour I've seen many packages using install-info as you said
and even the code added by dh_installinfo reported below.

All packages using dh_installinfo hit this bug, but I don't think is too
serious, as I don't expect too much from dpkg-reconfigure gdb.

Maybe we should take this conversation to debian-devel?

# Automatically added by dh_installinfo
if [ "$1" = "configure" ]; then
install-info --quiet --section "Development" "Development"
/usr/share/info/stabs.info

update-alternatives works with readonly /usr because modifies only files in
/etc/alternatives without touching /usr.
There are problems with packages calling install-info, directly or via
dh_installinfo, configurable by dpkg-reconfigure.

I think that the combination install_info + dpkg-reconfigure + readonly
/usr is rare enough to not be reported before.

I'll search through all my packages and then report what I've found.

Probably it's better if you tag this bug as "won't fix" until broader
discussion.

While I don't give such a negative connotation to "proprietary" I
agree that using another term can be better. I'll change to "native"

Bug#298862: postrm calling /etc/init.d/zope and the zope2.7 package

2005-03-10 Thread Federico Sevilla III
Hi everyone,

I got this bug report for zope-externaleditor today. The postrm
dependency on the existence of /etc/init.d/zope is there to restart zope
after zope-externaleditor has been uninstalled.

I take it zope2.7 has a different init script? What's the correct fix
for this? Should I simply do a check to see if /etc/init.d/zope exists,
and if it doesn't, look for /etc/init.d/zope2.7? Or should I try and
restart both, whichever of them exists?

Or should zope2.7 provide an /etc/init.d/zope (which means it will
conflict with the older zope package)?

Thanks in advance!

It could be. Anyway, reducing the number of clients to 25 solved out
problem. (Unfortunately you couldn't always do that.) I'll do some
checks using tcpdump and IE 6 and report to the BTS.

Bug#416193: schroot: Support for ending sessions instead of recovering them

2007-03-25 Thread Federico Di Gregorio
Package: schroot
Version: 1.0.5-1
Severity: wishlist
Tags: patch

Sometimes a program crashes and leave the schroot session open for some
reson and at the next boot a lot of bind mounts are done while
recovering lost sessions. I find much useful to end such sessions, so I
wrote a patch that lets the user decide what she wnat to do by adding
a configuration option in /etc/default/schroot. Probably we could do
even better and separate behaviour depending on session type but the
current recover/end patch is enough for me (and does not change anything
for users that don't need it). Patch attached.

I am very sorry, I didn't catch the ITA bug report posted several months

Debian was short. Right now I have much more time and I restarted the
work on Ogre, helped by other people. Both ois and FreeImage are now in
BYHANDS and I am packaging the new versions of CEGUI (0.5) and Ogre

Bug#438542: open-iscsi: No bootscripts to automount iscsi drives

2007-08-17 Thread Federico Alberto Sayd
Package: open-iscsi
Version: 2.0.865-1
Severity: normal

The open-iscsi package dont have a method for automount drives at boot.

The recomended method to mount net drives is to set the _netdev flag in the
fstab mount options of such drive. Unlike nfs or smbfs, the option _netdev in
fstab don't work for iscsi. The reason is that the script
/etc/network/if-up.d/nfsmount that mount network drives is launched after the
networking is up via the /etc/init.d/networking script. However the isci node
drives in /dev are created after the iscsi-initiator daemon is launched, but
this daemon is not yet up.

open-iscsi need a script that can mount automaticaly fstab entries for iscsi
drives after the networking and the iscsi-initiator daemon is up.

Actual scheme

networking --> mounting of network drives --> open-isci daemon

Propossed open-iscsi automount scheme

networking --> open-iscsi daemon --> mounting of network drives

We have mod_python, redirection with mod_proxy/mod_rewrite, PHP with
memory limit set to 32M, DAV and DAV/SVN. The are no errors or other
interesting entries in apache logs nor in any other log.

The box has 1Gb of RAM and 3Gb of swap.

I know that 150 processes can use up all memory and that's why we
reduced the max clients to 25 but the real problem here is that Apache
2.0.53 run for about 1 year with the exact same configuration without
any problem. The problems started the day after the upgrade to 2.2.

What was strange was the high number of defunct apache2 processes. I'd
expect to find something about them in apache error.log but no, nothing
was there.

The only advantage I know of is that it supports texture formats like

Bug#416616: fai-client: fai-do-scripts confused by new file output: POSIX shell script

2007-03-29 Thread Federico Di Gregorio
Package: fai-client
Version: 3.1.8
Severity: grave
Justification: renders package unusable

After upgrading to the last file package the file command returns

POSIX shell script text executable

for #!/bin/sh files. fai-do-scripts does not recognize this output
as valid and does not run the script. Most of the default fai scripts
are of this type and are then not run; breaking the whole ai system.

The fix is a one-line patch so obvious that I am not attaching it to
this email; but if you better like the other way I can provide it. :)

4.20-3 on the amd64 arch.

# file /var/lib/fai/config/scripts/POWUA_NODE/10-ssh
/var/lib/fai/config/scripts/POWUA_NODE/10-ssh: POSIX shell script text
executable

# head -1 /var/lib/fai/config/scripts/POWUA_NODE/10-ssh
#!/bin/sh

Hope this helps,

Those who do not study Lisp are doomed to reimplement it. Poorly.

Yes, the bug is only in unstable right now but will be in etch when the
file package migrates in it. As I said, solving it in fai is really
simple, just change the following line in fai-do-scripts:

*"executable shell script"*|*"/bash script"*|*"Bourne shell
script"*|*"Bourne-Again shell script"*)

to

*"POSIX shell script"*|*"executable shell script"*|*"/bash
script"*|*"Bourne shell script"*|*"Bourne-Again shell script"*)

And fai will continue to work when file migrates or when the user
install it from unstable.

I suppose that as long as you don't need to differentiate between
different shell interpreters is fine too (everything gets categorized as
application/x-shellscript).
