A new release of SimPy the Python simulation package is now available at
http://sourceforge.net/projects/simpy/. The unix version is in
SimPy-1.4.tar.gz

Simpy has been enriched by additional modules for GUI input, plotting,
simulation stepping, and real-time synchronization.

Monitors are now lists of the complete observed data series. New
methods include observe(y,t) (to replace tally and accum) and histogram.
Import of Simulation or any SimulationXXX module now also imports
Monitor. The number of waiting and active processes in a Resource can
now be Monitored.

I agree. I've scheduled this for the next testing run.

As the version in testing is lower than that in stable (security update)
I would really recommend to remove this from testing. The problem is
stated to be fixed in the upstream CVS but after a little digging into
the upstream BTS I found it too much of work to do it in a QA Upload.

(mozart-stdlib and mozart-gtk, the only packages that depend on it
aren't even in testing)

It's orphaned for three months now. We should even consider removing
this from unstable soon.

Uh, I hadn't noticed up till now.

I have put some work into a Drupal 4.3.2 package, especially into
reworking apart the config and postinst scripts. Database handling
stinks and automagically updating the database won't work out of the
box with 4.3.2, either. Nothing ready for prime-time, though.

If you would like to work together with me on the package, contact me
in private mail.

Subject: grey boxes instead of letters in some applications
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii

Delivered-To: [EMAIL PROTECTED]

Package: xfonts-75dpi
Version: 4.1.0-5

Some applications, e.g. nedit, show small grey boxes instead of letters
in the menu bar. The problem seems to occur when also using
xserver-common/-svga in version 3.3.6; on another computer with xserver
v.4.x everything is fine.
Downgrading the xfonts-75dpi package to version 4.0.3-4 fixes the
problem (sorry, I did not yet have the time for a closer examination).
I am using Debian Woody, kernel 2.2.19pre11 and libc6 2.2.4-1.

Best regards,

Jan Harnisch

I can not copy and paste text from nedit to gnome-terminal. Select text/press
middle mouse button, Ctrl+C/Ctrl+V, Ctrl-Ins/Shift-Ins, Menu-Copy/Menu-Paste -
neither of these work.
The copy and paste works fine in the reverse direction i.e.
gnome-terminal->nedit. I tried other applications such as xterm, netscape - the
operation works fine with any other combination of source and destination.

My system configuration:

 libc-2.2.5.so
 Gnome Terminal 1.4.0.6

Bug#200561: try building outside /usr

2004-02-22 Thread Juergen Strobel
This is the same problem as in #200562. To quote my reply from there:

As non-root, untar linux and module source(s) in your home dir, and
set MODULE_LOC to the extracted module/ directory. That way it will
have the correct permission. And additionally, not beeing root while
running 3rd party build scripts satisfies the paranoid.

If this is a bug, it has to do with how module packages and
module_assistant work and should maybe refiled there.

On thursday I sent an ITA for drupal, I'll try to upload a the latest
version ASAP, but I don't know the package and I need some time to
look at it. I don't want to upload something broken, so I suppose I won't
upload until next week (once I have some time to look at it).

I hope it will be ready for sid.
