Le disque prétend ne pas supporter le SMART (cela me semble étrange, il a moins d'un an, c'est possibe ?). C'est un SAMSUNG HD501LJ, SATA. J'ai essayé de changer la carte contrôleur SATA du pc, mais j'ai eu le même problème. J'ai ensuite monté le disque dans un autre PC que j'ai réinstallé et miracle, l'installateur debian a trouvé le VG et j'ai à nouveau accès à mes donnés. Je ne trouve aucune explication à ce comportement, vous avez une idée ? Salut à tous, je cherche à faire une synchronisation d'un système (partition racine) par un serveur web. Exemple : une mise à jour de mon système est stockée sur http://127.0.0.1/maj/, je veux faire un rsync entre ce répertoire et ma partitin racine. Est-ce possible ? Salut, tu peut utiliser rsync avec ssh, je te renvoie à la page de man : http://www.delafond.org/traducmanfr/man/man1/rsync.1.html Pour les options il vaut mieux utiliser un truc du genre : rsync -a --stats --progress --delete -c / /backup_directory --delete permet de supprimer les fichier qui ont été supprimé sur / -c permet d'utiliser checksum pour ne transferer que les fichier qui ont été modifiée (gain de temp considérable si beaucoup de fichier). Mais il y a beaucoup d'options donc je te laisse choisir celles qui vont le mieux avec ta situation. Bonjour, Je n'arrive pas à formuler ma recherche pour me faire comprendre par Google, c'est pourquoi je m'adresse à vous. J'ai monté un routeur avec un vieux pc (pII), le routeur est connecté à ma freebox, et fait office de passerelle et de serveur dhcp pour des ordinateurs de passage (dans le cadre de mes chambres d'hôtes) en wifi, mais aussi pour le pc de ma femme en câblé. Tout ça fonctionne très bien, pas de souci, mon problème c'est que mon pc perso est directement connecté à la freebox, pas au routeur. voilà pour info les ip des trois protagonistes permanents pc perso : 192.168.1.23 routeur eth0 - freebox 192.168.1.70 eth1 - serveur dhcp câblé 192.168.3.70 ath0 - serveur dhcp wifi 192.168.2.69 pc de ma femme : 192.168.3.80 Je peux sans problème faire un ssh de mon pc vers le routeur - logique, ils sont sur la même plage d'ip attribué par la freebox Je peux sans problème faire un ssh du pc de ma femme vers le routeur - logique, ils sont sur la même plage d'ip attribuées par le routeur Je peux sans problème faire un ssh du pc de ma femme vers mon propre pc - logique, le routeur fait son travail... Voilà donc ma question, quelqu'un sait-il comment configurer la freebox pour que mon pc perso puisse joindre celui de ma femme... Evidemment, vous me direz qu'il suffit de faire une redirection de port mais ça aurai pour conséquence que toutes les requêtes sur le port en question serai redirigées vers le routeur, or il m'arrive souvent de faire l'entretien sur des pc d'amis et ceux-là, sont connecté à la freebox (lorsqu'ils sont chez moi) voire simplement au web, et donc une requête qui serait redirigée vers le routeur n'aboutirai pas... Voilà, j'espère avoir été clair, si quelqu'un à une piste... Tu dois pouvoir l'ajouter manuellement sur ton PC, avec une commande du genre : route add 192.168.3.0 gw 192.168.1.70 afin de prendre ton routeur comme passerelle pour atteindre le sous-réseau en 192.168.3.0 Si ça marche, tu doit pouvoir ajouter une ligne dans /etc/network/interfaces pour ne pas avoir à toujours taper cette commande. Peut-être qu'il y a moyen de paramétrer la machin-boîte pour faire ce boulot, mais je n'en ai pas sous la main. C'est peut-être une freebox d'ancienne génération ou un soucis de séparer les réseaux, mais si c'était possible, je pense que cela simplifierai les choses. Lo que puedo aportar es mi experiencia con respecto a la tecnologia SAS. Hace un tiempo tuve unas dudas sobre si esta tecnologia seria soportada. Al final pude instalar Debian Etch sin ningun problema. Me detecto los discos, hice un RAID1 por software y el hot swap funciona lo mas bien. Fue con un IBM 3200x , procesador xeon dual core, 2GB de ram y dos discos de 160GB. Esto se hace según la distribución, pero en definitiva siempre están los códigos fuentes para que los compiles vos mismo. Antes de nada, buenas tardes. Estoy buscando algún sistema de quotas para la impresora, para poder controlar la cantidad de hojas que se sacan dependiendo de los diferentes usuarios o puestos que envían el trabajo a la cola. Leyendo por ahí, he encontrado referencias a PyKota pero la verdad es que no me termina de convencer. Conocen algún otro sistema y que a poder ser, esté en los repositorios de lenny? Empiezo a valorar la posibilidad de intentar desarrollar algo en python que intercepte la comunicación y que simplemente guarde un fichero a modo de contador... pero como no soy programador creo que me resultaría demasiado complejo. CUPS tiene un sistema de cuotas (este mismo que encontraste), pero funciona en un estilo todo o nada y o están conmigo o están en mi contra. Así que realmente no sirve mucho. Por otro lado, están los molestos controladores de Windows que funcionan así: estimado servidor cups, imprima esto. chau. Con eso quiero decir que lo único que queda registro es que se imprimió 1 trabajo. Nada de páginas!!! Así que un librito de 500 páginas imprimeso desde Windows aparece como un solo trabajo. Además, el usuario que aparece es el usuario de Windows que el usuario (persona física) tiene en su PC. Ya con *nix la cosa es distinta... se registra todo de todo. La opción que me da CUPS es limitar a x hojas [ de x tamaño] hasta x día... pero lo que realmente necesitaba era un contador que lleve un registro de la cantidad de hojas. Empiezo a valorar la posibilidad de intentar desarrollar algo en python que intercepte la comunicación y que simplemente guarde un fichero a modo de contador... pero como no soy programador creo que me resultaría demasiado complejo. Alguna otra sugerencia? Bueno... un capítulo más de la novela la dificil arte de imprimir. A ver... CUPS tiene un sistema de cuotas (este mismo que encontraste), pero funciona en un estilo todo o nada y o están conmigo o están en mi contra. Así que realmente no sirve mucho. Por otro lado, están los molestos controladores de Windows que funcionan así: estimado servidor cups, imprima esto. chau. Con eso quiero decir que lo único que queda registro es que se imprimió 1 trabajo. Nada de páginas!!! Así que un librito de 500 páginas imprimeso desde Windows aparece como un solo trabajo. Además, el usuario que aparece es el usuario de Windows que el usuario (persona física) tiene en su PC. Ya con *nix la cosa es distinta... se registra todo de todo. Esta es la informacion que esta en var/log/cups/page-log y solo restaria filtrar la info de algun modo, por usuario, trabajo y tomar el ultimo valor de cada trabajo (o por lo que quieras). Loguear las acciones de un usuario el cual se conecta por SSH
Hola Lista. Es posible loguear a un archivo (similar a lo que pasa con squid, dansguardian, etc) todo lo que un determinado usuario hace en el equipo? La idea es esta: 1) Un usuario remoto se conectaría por SSH a un server Linux. 2) Obviamente solo tendría permisos de usuario sin privilegios ni nada de mas. 3) Luego de conectado al server se conectaría por telnet a un equipo SCO UNIX sobre el cual debe realizar el mantenimiento de un sistema. Es posible loguear de una manera entendible todas las acciones que realize contra el server Unix? Alguien tiene implementado un esquema similar? Muchas Gracias. Consulta: Acceso por VPN o SSH a secas
Hola Compañeros. Les dejo esta consulta para ver que opinión les merece: Situación: Tengo que otorgarle acceso remoto a un Proveedor y estoy entre 2 soluciones: 1) OpenVPN. 2) SSH a secas! De openVPN lo malo es que una vez conectado quedaría virtualmente dentro de mi red local, lo cual no me agrada en absoluto, lo bueno es que solo podrían conectarse quienes tengan los certificados. De SSH me gusta que una vez conectado al Server Linux (vía SSH) tendría un usuario sin privilegios y solo podría hacer TELNET (ya dentro de la red) contra un UNIX sobre el cual debe realizar mantenimientos. Lo malo es que cualquiera podría ponerse a realizar ataques contra mi Server SSH. Que opinan? Que les parece mejor y mas seguro? Con SSH puedes usar certificados tambien, y si te parece, puedes olvidarte de las contrasenas, ya que estas son blanco de ataques de fuerza... Asi te olvidas de crear contrasenas dificiles que luego tu cliente o alguien podria olvidar o tenga que dejar anotada por ahi en un papel que es peor. de APT; para ello agregas la siguiente línea al archivo

SAMBA - Alterar senha
Galera, Havia criado um dominio chamado DOMAIN para teste, pois o dominio da empresa ja estava criado no AD. Agora configuei o SAMBA para o dominio antigo. Porem uma funcao que estava funcioando bem, esta dando problema. Ele conseguia alterar a senha no proximo boot. Depois que mudei o nome do DOMINIO ele me pede pra mudar senha normalmente quando dou o ok ele depois diz que eu nao tenho permissao para mudar a senha neste momento. Alguem sabe o que pode ser? Gracias... o problema esta no arquivo que eu havia criado. descompactei o samba.schema dentro do /etc/ldap/schema, porem o arquivo estava vazio. coloquei um novo e foi tranquilo. Ele mistura samba, ldap e nfs. Espero que ajude. Até, 2008/6/4 gunix [EMAIL PROTECTED]: Instalei o ldap em um server para teste. apos a instalacao, coloquei o client do ldap, até ai tudo certo. Logo depois instalei o smbldao_tools e samba, smbfs,... porem no meu ldap nao criou o DOMINIO automaticamente apos configuirar o samba e setar a senha. AS conf que fiz foi do dominio no smb.conf e os dois arquivos da pasta smbldaptools. Alguem saberia me dizer se posso cira-lo manualmente? como criar? ou se estou faltando instalar algo ou configurar? Aqui no escritório tem uma epson c67 com alimentação continua. A instalação foi fácil, mas muita sujeira :) O kit custou na época uns 350 reais, compramos de uma empresa lá no Rio de Janeiro. A questão é que no escritório imprime muito, e lá em casa quase não imprime, mas quando imprime voce é surpreendido com falta de tinta. Eu tô cismado que esses chips tem prazo de validade também. Realmente o kit de alimentação continua é uma bela economia. Eu só compraria um kit desses para a impressora lá de casa se a tinta servisse para imprimir fotos e pelos comentários que observamos na internet não é recomendado. Enfim, eu só tava dando o ponto negativo para a epson nesse sentido. Nos demais é uma excelente impressora. Explico, o aptitude começou a reclamar do seguinte erro: # aptitude update E: Abrindo arquivo de configuração /usr/share/aptitude/aptitude-defaults.pt_BR - ifstream::ifstream (2 Arquivo ou diretório não encontrado) pensei em enviar um relatório de erro, que ficaria melhor se eu pudesse obter a saída do comando acima em inglês. I recently came across the following example for switching time zones: $ date Fr 6. Jun 12:49:30 CEST 2008 $ TZ=UTC date Fr 6. Jun 10:49:35 UTC 2008 Could someone please explain to me the general shell syntax involved here? I did not know that I could put an assignment and a command on one line. postfix-policyd throttling sasl users without graylisting them
Hi, is it possible using postfix-policyd to throttle sasl authenticated users without applying graylisting to them(for intraserver communication) but have graylisting apply to outside users? Something odd happened to sound - found a fix.
I'm using Sid. My sound disappeared after an upgrade. Saytime produced an error message: sox soxio: Can't open output file `/dev/audio': unknown file type `ossdsp' Googling, I found someone using Ubuntu who solved this by installing the _Debian_ package libsox-fmt-all. I did this and sound returned. A bug report is probably required on some package but I don't know which. I'm posting this in case anyone else has the same problem. PDF reader that overrides fonts
I have 20-odd PDF's that I must read. They have a terrible handwritten-type font embedded in them and I cannot read them! The PDFs are text, not images, as I've been able to copy the text and paste to OpenOffice successfully. However, the documents are Materials Engineering documents with charts and diagrams, so simply copying and pasting the whole thing is unacceptable. Is there a PDF reader that lets one override the embedded fonts? I cannot ask for the documents to be recreated in an accessible manner, as I already tried that route. Thanks in advance. But I did a quick google: how to print cli cups and found this http://www.g-loaded.eu/2005/11/10/using-a-cups-printer-from-command-line/ and tried this: lpr README and what do you know? It printed! However, saving back as pdf ruins the letter spacing as you mention, yet, removing the manual kerns does not help. Also, this only saves the first page of the document. 1) Is there another way to change the letter spacing? Even selecting the entire document and then selecting a specific font did not help with letter spacing. 2) Can Inkscape work with more than a single page? I have 20 documents, 10 pages on average each, and the test is next week! Thanks! But I have a Materials Engineering exam next week. BTW, KWord, part of KOffice, used to be able to open a pdf and edit it. Haven't tried it for some time though. KWord opens these documents, but completely destroys the layout. The layout is critical in engineering documents. I have to admit that I don't know why removing the manual kerns does not
work sometimes. I mostly use inkscape's PDF import to get at some vector
graphic that is important for me.

OK, then you need another approach. What might work in a reasonably
scalable way is to distill the PDF into another PDF while removing all
the embedded fonts. Then your PDF viewer should choose a suitable
standard font as a substitute (probably also Tahoma) whenever you open
the new PDF file.
Here is an extremely quick-and-dirty, I-guarantee-for-nothing (!) bash
script to remove embedded fonts. It takes only one argument, the name of
the original PDF file, and it generates ...-NOFONTS.pdf. I only tested
this on one PDF file that I happened to have lying around, so I have no
idea how robust this is:
