Re: [Design] Mock-up to use in presentation?

2015-12-01 Thread Nico Rikken
To close this thread, my presentation video is now available, albeit
under a conflicting standard youtube license. I'll work on that:

Oh, I should have been clearer about where in that link I was
referencing. Not all colors from the web site color scheme are
necessarily good for shirts. The question is about the particular color
scheme given logo stuff printed on the shirt, per the 4 logo options at
https://snowdrift.coop/p/snowdrift/w/en/design-guide#logo as consideration…

I think a dark blue shirt could work well…

Re: [Design] shirt colors

2015-12-01 Thread Bryan Richter
Well, after saying that, I *do* prefer white over some shades of gray.

No terrible cultural reference intended.

From my perspective, I'd like to offer at least two colors (maybe
neutral and blue?), if not more.

Robert, I suppose I'm not certain about your style guide. Is that
*just* a guide for the web? E.g. would it be a bad idea to use a
monochrome logo on top of a selection of colors better suited to
humans that to websites?

I'm fine with all of them, I think I like yellow the least but I'd have
to see a real picture of it.

[Design] shirt colors

2015-12-01 Thread Aaron Wolf
Question was brought up about shirt color. Many people dislike truly
bright white shirts. We need to determine the options depending on what
vendor we end up with, but it seems a greyish light color could work
instead of white.

I think a lot of people don't really want to wear white t-shirts, I
think. Bryan says so for himself.

Besides off-white, should we consider a design with a dark color?

See the color scheme options at
https://snowdrift.coop/p/snowdrift/w/en/design-guide

So, thoughts?
