Hi, I have the same problem on my Ubuntu/Dell XPS 410: generally DVDs play just fine in auto-play, but if I stop the playing and then try to 'Play Disk' it gives me the "do not have the correct plug-ins to handle it." By the look of it (it works in auto-play and from a terminal using "# totem dvd://1", but "Play Disk" doesn't) it seems more like a minor problem to fix that has nothing to do with the proper plug-ins being installed. [Bug 131182] Re: search applet has inconsidered list of searches
Isn't this very much related to all those other usability bugs in the new version of deskbar? If need, I don't mind posting separate bug-reports about all usability issues (besides it launching a window). Lack of intelligent keyboard control comes to mind, as well do focus and resizing issues. I'm glad to hear they are actively working to make it fix up the usability. The window thing wouldn't be a very big thing if it worked nicely. For reference, see: http://code.google.com/p/affinity-search/ Which does use a window, but does not get in the way. -- search applet has inconsidered list of searches https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/131182 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is a bug assignee. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

[Bug 131446] Re: [gutsy]Deskbar results appears in a window
Another vote for the previous version back. The new interface has been poorly thought out and achieves nothing over the old style (and the lack of choice about being able to choose between the old and new style is strange). In my opinion, if the developer refuses to at least provide an option for the old style, then it might as well be removed from the default Gutsy install. -- [gutsy]Deskbar results appears in a window https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/131446 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is the registrant for deskbar-applet. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

I can't create any new keyrings (including the default one, if there are none) with the gnome keyring manager. I get a "Gnome-Keyring-Manager-WARNING **: Failed to get keyring info." error in the console. I've snooped around through the sources a bit, and as far as I can tell: (1) create_keyring_callback in gnome-keyring-manager-keyring-manager.c receives a (correct) GnomeKeyringResult of GNOME_KEYRING_RESULT_OK, which should indicate that adding the keyring was successful, but then (2) it runs gkm_keyring_manager_update_keyring_info on the new keyring, which (3) runs gnome_keyring_get_info on it, and (4) update_keyring_info_worker_callback receives a GNOME_KEYRING_RESULT_NO_SUCH_KEYRING status.
