[Bug 162268] radial blur is actually rotational blur
Public bug reported: In the Filters -> Motion Blur dialog, you can select one of three types of blur: Linear, Radial and Zoom. Linear and Zoom blur are pretty much self-explanatory, but Radial does not give the expected results. One would expect a radial blur to blur radially (!) - just as the spokes of a wheel extend radially from the axle. What this second type of blur actually does is blur in a rotational manner, as if the image were spun round in its plane. This second blur type should therefore be named "Rotational" or something similar. ** Affects: gimp (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- radial blur is actually rotational blur https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/162268 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is a bug contact for gimp in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

[Bug 58857] Re: Evolution calendar component no longer has month/calendar widget panel
This bug is about the existence of the calendar widget. It turned out that it was there, but the pane wasn't shown by default - you had to drag it to a non-zero size. However, I think this has been fixed since edgy's release. If I create a new user, log in and open Evolution, the calendar widget it displayed by default. Therefore, this bug isn't valid anymore. The other issue, about the calendar widget having a frame drawn around it, still applies. Upon further inspection it's clear that every theme seems to draw a frame around the widget, but each with its own colour. The most obvious example is Clearlooks (stock with edgy) draws a bright green frame as I said above. I have no idea why Clearlooks would have such a colour specified... The point it, I don't think that point is relevant for this bug, which should be closed. -- Evolution calendar component no longer has month/calendar widget panel https://launchpad.net/bugs/58857 -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

Public bug reported: https://launchpad.net/malone/bugs/35931 Affects: control-center gnome-control-center (Ubuntu) Severity: Normal Priority: (none set) Status: Unconfirmed Description: Example: Open gnome-keybinding-properties, under the Sound section find "Play (or play/pause)", and assign the key combo Ctrl-B to it. Now try and type the letter b normally anywhere - it doesn't work. Using xev, typing the letter b should normally give this response: KeyPress event, serial 26, synthetic NO, window 0x381, root 0x119, subw 0x0, time 523284114, (93,381), root:(96,430), state 0x10, keycode 56 (keysym 0x62, b), same_screen YES, XLookupString gives 1 bytes: (62) "b" XmbLookupString gives 1 bytes: (62) "b" XFilterEvent returns: False KeyRelease event, serial 29, synthetic NO, window 0x381, root 0x119, subw 0x0, time 523284214, (93,381), root:(96,430), state 0x10, keycode 56 (keysym 0x62, b), same_screen YES, XLookupString gives 1 bytes: (62) "b" But after assigning that key combo above, we get: KeyPress event, serial 30, synthetic NO, window 0x381, root 0x119, subw 0x0, time 523335268, (470,619), root:(473,668), state 0x10, keycode 56 (keysym 0x1008ff14, XF86AudioPlay), same_screen YES, XLookupString gives 0 bytes: XmbLookupString gives 0 bytes: XFilterEvent returns: False KeyRelease event, serial 30, synthetic NO, window 0x381, root 0x119, subw 0x0, time 523335368, (470,619), root:(473,668), state 0x10, keycode 56 (keysym 0x1008ff14, XF86AudioPlay), same_screen YES, XLookupString gives 0 bytes: The key has to be reset using xmodmap: $ xmodmap -e 'keycode 56 = b' for normal function to return. Obviously, none of this should happen. It's just too silly. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
