FFE documentation: proposed changes: https://gerrit.libreoffice.org/gitweb?p=core.git;a=commitdiff;h=e1ca9ecd43db2256739d2d710823acdd51ca5777 fixes the unitymenu integration patch so that LibreOffices own menu is only removed in a unity session. This only modifies the vcl gtk plugin in libreoffice-gtk -- other parts of libreoffice are untouched by this change. rationale: LibreOffice with libreoffice-gtk installed would otherwise be unusable in gnome-classic. [Desktop-packages] [Bug 1062757] Re: No menu bar under GNOME Shell gnome-classic
Interesting that if you uninstall libreoffice-gnome and libreoffice-gtk and gtk3 it will have the menu again. http://imagebin.org/231152 no gtk http://imagebin.org/231153 gtk and or gtk3 It crashes when trying to open the libreoffice shortcut and choosing writer it wont open. Then it always tries to recover the file when clicking on calc or writer shortcuts. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to libreoffice in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1062757 Title: No menu bar under GNOME Shell gnome-classic Status in “libreoffice” package in Ubuntu: Confirmed Bug description: I just upgraded to 1:3.6.2~rc2-0ubuntu1 and the menu bar is gone under GNOME Shell session.
