Yes
2) if so, please give an estimated time when will you can finish transfer.
What you will need to do includes:
- Find the all the contributors and ask them to sign the Apache
ICLA[2], if the contribution is trivial, this can be ignore
- If the code belongs to your company, you need to sign the SGA[3]
- request ASF infra to transfer the project
3) if not, please indicate that which group you will transfer to.
Maybe two weeks.

After make a discussion with my team members, we decide to delay about 2 
months(until 2019/06/30) to donate the go-for-apache-dubbo. Because there so

If you have already signed, there is no need to sign it again.
However since you have going transfer to ASF, you might need to sign the SGA.
Besides, could you give when will you plan to finish it transfer? No
need to be very accurate, just a rough estimation will be ok.

dubbo-go is ready for migarting now

After 1 month’s hard working and making a discussion with my team members, I am 
so glad to declare that we are ready to transfer to ASF now. Thanks for all 
committers of dubbo-go and ASF.


Hope to get reply from ASF to indicate what we should do for transferred.

[DISCUSS] How to handle Java Exception in go

Hello Dubbo/Dubbogo Community,



 In hessian2-go 
(https://github.com/dubbogo/hessian2),
 we plan to support Java Exception. In hessian2-go, users should use 
RegisterPOJO/RegisterPOJOs to register a go struct which is matching a JAVA 
POJO class to parse java class. If not, hessian2-go can not unmarshal the java 
exception steam bytes from hessian2-java. To handle Java Exception, hessian2-go 
may be should build some popular Java Exceptions in this repo to help users.

 The problem is that there are som many java exceptions! Our community 
has built a [issue](https://github.com/dubbogo/hessian2/issues/53) to discuss 
this topic. And there is no common conclusion now.


 Pls reply this email to get more suggestions if u have a good idea.

As the best Dubbo hessian2 implementation in Go, 
[dubbogo/hessian2](github.com/dubbogo/hessian2) has been used widely by many 
companies since 2017. We community think this lib is ready for transfering to 
ASF now.

As a subitem of [dubbo-go](github.com/apache/dubbo-go), we dubbogo community 
plans to transfer this repo to apache as a independent libaray, in which those 
firms can continue to use it.


After transfered, its best name may be dubbo-go-hessian2 in my view. Hope that 
your kindly apache community agree with me. What’s more, thanks for [Mr 
wongoo](https://github.com/wongoo)’s great contribution to this lib who is the 
main maintainer now.

Hi all:



We dubbogo community needs to edit the apache/dubbo-go github wiki. 
However, this repo has just been trasfered to ASF just one week ago, and all of 
our community members are now apache committers now. So we do not have the 
right to edit the github wiki.

  We need the wiki priviledge temporarily to manage our dev plans and write 
usage introduction doc for  dubbogo beinngers. This temporary duration may be 
last 2 month. Hope getting reply.

Hi dubbogo community,


Today Mr Fang (https://github.com/fangyincheng) fix a fata bug in 
apache/dubbo-go. We found that there are many iotimeout error in dubbo-go 
benchmark proj.



 After 3 days work, Mr Fang found the problem as issue 
[#101](https://github.com/apache/dubbo-go/issues/101) and fix it in pr 
[#106](https://github.com/apache/dubbo-go/pull/106).


 Just as the title says, the mutex/rwmutex in go is not reentant as java. 
Another rule that we should obey is we should not use a struct lock member 
outside its self functions.

There are several things need to do:
* A formal vote to accept the hessian2 is needed.
* need to create an incubator JIRA issue to track the progress
* need to create an ip clearance page by following[1]
* the SGA has not been signed for this project.

Any release mush be approved by PMC by voting on the mailing list.
I would suggest to read the release guide[1] carefully.

It is good to see that dubbo-go is planning a release.
Any release mush be approved by PMC by voting on the mailing list.
I would suggest to read the release guide[1] carefully.
Understanding an Apache release is very important.

Hi,

Please refer to the Java release guide [1], although it is not
completely the same.
What I think you should be able to do are:
1. create a tag for the source code that need to be released.
2. package the source code that matches the tag into a zip/tar.gz file.
3. sign the package with gpg key and generate the sha512 hash
4. upload the signature, the hash file and the source package to svn
5. send an official release vote email.

I have add the ASF license on those source files listed in your email below
[1-5]. And also I have delete some authors' email [6-8].

gomock(github.com/golang/mock/gomock).  The file has a header declaration

grpc for dubbo/dubbo-go

Hi Dubbo/Dubbo-go members,

I plan to add grpc support for dubbo-go. As so far, I just see a grpc
suggestion in [dubbo-issue-3999](https://github.com/apache/dubbo/issues/3999
).

Do your guys have any other suggestions? Pls  let me know.

I checked the following conditions:
[v] Are the digital signature and hashes correct?
[v] Do LICENSE and NOTICE files exists?
[x] Un-included software dependencies are not mentioned in LICENSE or
NOTICE?
[v] Do the contents of the release match with what's tagged in version
control?
[x] Are there any unexpected binary files in the release?
[v] Can you compile from source? Are the instruction clear?

As the year in the NOTICE is not right and the appendix and owner info in
the license do not exist, I think Mr Fang can append them in the next
release.

- sha512 hash is ok
- no binary fies
- notice is ok

however, I have two suggestions:
- 1 u should not modify the 1.3.0 release notes in CHANGE.md. It will be
better if u add 1.3.0-rc2 release notes into it.
- 2 the contributing.md should have more programming advices.

all of those codes are from github.com/alexstocks/getty.  Some differences
btw the two repos is from the adaptive codes for apache/dubbo-go.

To Mr Justin,

As the dubbo-go, this repo is owned by myself at the beginning. So we
dubbo-go contributors do not need to sign SGA. We just need to sign the
ICLA as the passed processes.

say is that,

This repo is written by me since 2016 in my spare time. And I was not
employed at that time. I need not to find any of my employer's agreement
for the donation of getty.

So I signed my name on the SGA to meet ur demand.

Pls give me other suggestions if there are other problems. If not, I will
contact with other guys to sign the ICLA.

Dear all,

On 21:00 ~ 22:30 pm, Nov 20, last Friday,  our dubbo community hold an
online meetup to discuss what we should do about dubbo/dubbo-go 3.0 in the
coming 2021.

The following list is the key features dubbo 3.0 should have.
* 1 A new application registry model for multiple protocols.
* 2 Should support ks8 and service mesh. Dubbo should communicate with
istio by xDS protocol in a proxyless way.
* 3 It should be designed for failure to strengthen its stability.
* 4 Using a new transport protocol like h2 and pb.
* 5 Should have more graceful degradation algorithms such as some
adaptive current limiter in Littele's Law.

We plan to release the first Dubbo/Dubbo-go 3.0 version in March 31 2021.

I do not think  APIServer as a registry is a good idea. In very large k8s
cluster[such as 10,000 nodes as I see in my current company], the APIServer
can not handle 5 list-all request in 1s from kubelet. If there are more
requests from Application layer, it will panic or the app's request will be
rejected.
