I also like the structure of the 'helping out' section. Thanks for taking

Any chance of more progress on this side? How can I help?

Thanks,

I'm still struggling to get the Om/Alex way of SDK development going

it out when I try to get it working.

Thanks,

[VOTE] [RESULT] Release Apache Flex SDK Installer 2.6 - RC3 **

2013-08-04 Thread OmPrakash Muppirala
Thanks to everyone who took time to vote (for this and the previous Release
Candidates as well)

The vote passes with the following votes:

*Binding votes:*
Justin Mclean
Erik de Bruin
Alex Harui
OmPrakash Muppirala

*Non-binding votes:*
Swen van Zanten
Chris Martin
Mark Kessler

Next steps for me:
1. Upload source and binaries to the dist release site
2. Create a new 2.6 tag in flex-utilities git repo.
3. Merge develop into master

I will wait until Flex SDK 4.10 is actually released before making these
changes
4. Update Installer badge at http://flex.apache.org/installer.html to
point to the new version of the Installer
5. Update http://flex.apache.org/sdk-installer-config-2.0.xml to indicate
the latest version (so that auto-update of existing Installer apps kicks in)
6. Shall we let the announcement for Flex SDK 4.10 also include the
announcement for the Installer 2.6 as well?

Please let me know if you think I am missing something.

Thanks,
Om

Here is a very simple use case where I edit the DateSpinner component.

Not fixing a real bug, though. This video should hopefully describe the
source-path option of editing the Flex SDK. Note that I start out with a
Flex SDK installed using the Installer.

Please let me know if you still have questions. If this is not what you or

Yeah. And maybe add more source path so fewer swc get used. But sometimes I
have to simply replace the class constant with the actual value.
