What about updating myfaces 1.2.8, ANT 1.8, CXF 2.0.12, axis 1.5, slf4j

Tomcat 6.0.24, new release of tranql and Derby to 10.5.x. should be for

I would add OpenJPA 1.2.2 and OpenEJB 3.1.3

SCA-support via tuscany plugin would be nice as new functionality

Where to find the Geronimo -ApacheDS plugin?

2010-01-21 Thread frapien

Hello,

does anyone know, where to find or dowload the Geronimo -ApacheDS plugin.
Originaly it was released on Sun, 16 Mar 2008 22:53:20 -0700 by David Jencks
Or should I post the message on the ApacheDS mailing list?

Thanks, Frank

The Geronimo team is pleased to announce the release of the Apache Geronimo
- Apache Directory Server plugin 1.0

This plugin allows installing and running the ApacheDS server version 1.5.1
in an Apache Geronimo 2.1 server. The ApacheDS server can be configured
through a server.xml file just as with a standalone server.

This is the initial release of this plugin.

Many thanks

Hi Donald,

can you please check, because under is still

http://geronimo.apache.org/plugins/openjpa2/geronimo-plugins.xml
http://geronimo.apache.org/plugins/openjpa2/geronimo-plugins.xml
2.1.3
2.1.4
2.1.5-SNAPSHOT
Thank, Frank

I've updated the OpenJPA2 plugin for Geronimo 2.2 to support the
released 2.2 server and the current 2.2.1-SNAPSHOT server.

The plugin still uses OpenJPA 2.0.0-M3, but I'll update it again when
either M4 or the final 2.0.0 release is available.

Re: Problem with SSL connection

2009-12-22 Thread frapien

Hi Peter

to use your new keytore, you have to
just edit connectorTomcatWebSSLConnector configuration in web console
and change the *keystoreFile from
../security/keystores/geronimo-default to your keystore
save it ans thats it
You can do the same directly in the config.xml also

Re: Apache Web Profile Edition of the Java EE 6 standard ?

2009-12-02 Thread frapien

Hi Maths,

there are plans to release an jee6-web-profile Edition after Geronimo 2.2 is
out

http://cwiki.apache.org/GMOxDEV/road-map-for-jee6-web-profile.html

it would be nice to see it before the Big-G 3.0 is out.

Some specs of JavaEE are partialy already
http://repo1.maven.org/maven2/org/apache/geronimo/specs/

Regards
Frank

That's great. I would like to have more Java EE 6.0 Features (OpenEJB 3.1,
Servlet 3.0, JSF 2.0 etc. ) as a Plugin for Geronimo 2.2

in the geronimo-plugin.xml I copied the jars (camel-core-2.0.0.jar,
camel-core-2.0.0.jar, camel-spring-2.0.0.jar) from apache camel

org.apache.activemq
activemq-camel
5.3-SNAPSHOT
jar

org.apache.camel
camel-jms
2.0-M3
jar

org.apache.camel
camel-core
2.0-M3
jar

org.apache.camel
camel-spring
2.0-M3
jar

but still i get the module not running

no its old
When Camel went from an activemq subproject to a top level apache project,
they changed the URIs for their xml schemas to reflect this in Camel 2.0.
To fix this, in activemq.xml change all occurrences of:
http://activemq.apache.org/camel/schema/spring
to
http://camel.apache.org/schema/spring
and
 see
http://cwiki.apache.org/confluence/display/CAMEL/Exception+-+BeanDefinitionStoreException

as in the config.xml it's true but on the console I see only ports
 Listening on Ports:
   1050 0.0.0.0 CORBA Naming Service
   1099 0.0.0.0 RMI Naming
   1527 0.0.0.0 Derby Connector
   2001 0.0.0.0 OpenEJB ORB Adapter
   4201 0.0.0.0 OpenEJB Daemon
   6882 0.0.0.0 OpenEJB ORB Adapter
    0.0.0.0 JMX Remoting Connector
so where is the bind
Thanks for your help, Frank

GERONIMO 2.2 ActiveMQ5 CAMEL2 integration

2009-10-30 Thread frapien

I tried to use the GERONIMO 2.2 ActiveMQ5 CAMEL2 integration, but run in
following problems

1.) when setting a route in $GERONIMO_HOME\var\activemq\conf\activemq.xml
http://camel.apache.org/schema/spring";>

i get
ERROR: java.lang.RuntimeException: Failed to execute start task. Reason:
org.springframework.beans.factory.BeanDefinitionStoreException: Unrecognized
xbean namespace mapping: http://camel.apache.org/schema/spring

2.) when using the ActiveMQ 3.0 Webconsole as described in
http://activemq.apache.org/web-console.html
http://repo1.maven.org/maven2/org/apache/activemq/activemq-web-console/5.3.0/activemq-web-console-5.3.0.war

Set the jms connector url for geronimo on startup
set
GERONIMO_OPTS=-Dwebconsole.jmx.url=service:jmx:rmi:///jndi/rmi://localhost:1099/JMXConnector

i get the following exception
java.io.IOException: Transport Connector could not be registered in JMX:
Failed to bind to server socket: tcp://localhost:61616 due to:
java.net.BindException: Address already in use: JVM_Bind
at
org.apache.activemq.util.IOExceptionSupport.create(IOExceptionSupport.java:27)
as the Console is still using the ActiveMQ deault port 61616. Why?

3.)Then iy tried the Camel 2.0 Web Console from
http://repo1.maven.org/maven2/org/apache/activemq/activemq-web-console/5.3.0/activemq-web-console-5.3.0.war
as described in
http://camel.apache.org/web-console.html
The i get
javax.servlet.ServletException: Filter execution threw an exception

com.opensymphony.module.sitemesh.filter.PageFilter.parsePage(PageFilter.java:119)

com.opensymphony.module.sitemesh.filter.PageFilter.doFilter(PageFilter.java:55)

root causeb java.lang.OutOfMemoryError: PermGen space
so set
GERONIMO_OPTS=-Xms512m -Xmx512m -XX:MaxPermSize=128m

this works realy fine an i can use Camel routes and enpoints etc.

But know my question.
Why can't i use the Active MQ WebConsole or Camel direct in ActiveMQ
together with Geronimo at this time?
There is a Apache Camel camel-geronimo-2.1.4 integration tutorial at
https://issues.apache.org/activemq/browse/CAMEL-1636?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=52028#action_52028
which si not working
