Re: [l10n-dev] 3.0 deadline
I had filed an issue with new translations for Bulgarian, but if before 4 july there are some changes in en-US strings I should update the translation. This very last delivery date should really be used to submit translations if the team cannot deliver before. . Earlier the engineer who was responsible for integration wrote itself a message to list with delivery dates and details and we could trust him (Vladimir or Ivo). Now the information is in two different wiki articles and differs in some details (or is wrong at all - like with Beta1, where assignee in wiki was Vladimir but Ivo did integration - a lot of redirected issues). Can we please have earlier situation back to keep things understandable for everyone? The standard mail Vladimir or Ivo sent out is summarized at: http://wiki.services.openoffice.org/wiki/Translation_for_3.0#How_to_deliver _translated_files As I said last delivery date for Translation is July 4th. However, I am encouraging the teams who are ready with the translation to start delivering now. Ivo and Vladimir work on the integration alternatively and they monitor the issues of each other. I don't think it makes a big difference if you assign the issue to one or the other.
