[l10n-dev] Localisation 29 cws builds

2008-07-16 Thread Rafaella Braconi

Hi,

please find CWS l10n builds with the latest translations at:
http://ooo.services.openoffice.org/pub/OpenOffice.org/cws/upload/localization/localisation29/

Please check the quality of this builds by performing at least some
Sanity Check:
http://wiki.services.openoffice.org/wiki/Sanity_Check_Of_L10n_Builds

and report as soon as possible any issues you may encounter.

Thanks,
Rafaella

Hi Rafaella,
Can the Brazilian team get its "BrOffice.org" branded build?
Thank you
Olivier
P.S. Should we use IssueZilla to report errors in the build, with
respect to translation? I saw in the latest pt-BR build (named as
openoffice.org) a few old translated strings that were updated before
July 4th deadline.

Downloaded the Windows NL-version and installed it in the same way as
other downloaded builds.

My WIN XP is refusing to start the application !

I had the same problem with gsicheck_1.9.0, but Gregor Hartman fixed
that one.

Is there something new in this download or is my XP corrupt ?

Can anyone inform me if he/she got this build running on Win XP ??

Could you confirm that:
- we report an issue on IZ
- correct the corresponding files in Pootle

Thanks in advance
Kind regards

Did you install like described here:
http://wiki.services.openoffice.org/wiki/Run_OOo_versions_parallel ?

If so, see http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=91519

upps ... sorry. I think that rebuilding would take some time. Are you ok
to use the Brazilian OOo build for testing purposes only?

Thank you

Yes, please file issues and communicate to this alias, cc:ing Vladimir
on any urgent l10n issues - like old translations for example!

Thanks,
Rafaella

And the winner is :

Cor Nouws schreef:

Well, of course not. I'm working with Windows and I just know how to
click a button
that says "Install". So, I did that, it installed, but the program
didn't work.

Unfortunately I used the translated version
http://wiki.services.openoffice.org/wiki/Meerdere_versies_van_OOo_uitvoeren
which I, for Windows, almost memorized and therefore missed the added
message that necessary C++ libraries are missing,

coming version DEV300m23.

Installing Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable Package (x86)

and editing bootstrap.ini fixed all.

Thanks COR,
I will adjust our Dutch file on the wiki immediately :-)

Hi,

just a short update on the localisation 29 CWS builds. Release
engineering is reimporting the latest translations and will deliver new
CWS l10n builds (however, they will be ready not before Monday).

A big THANK YOU to all the ones who have tested the builds and
communicated in a very fast way the issues found!

Kind Regards,
Rafaella
