This packages have a problem. In openoffice.org/basis3.2/presets/config/
there are many files with a localisation like in "modern_en-US_as.sog"

I guess you have to remove most of the "en_US_".

I only made a build with the language "kid" and did not merged the 
keyids in the real translations. You should see those keyids only in 
the kid build.
My mistake. This dumb Dutchie on clumps downloaded the KID-file from 
20100403 instead of the right one, the one of 20100406

The ID's are visible now and they are indeed the earlier mentioned 
466ou0 and  k7toiu .

this file is a (pre)_m15 based en-US sdf file with added keyids. if you 
open a kid / keyid build you will see. you can use it for debugging.


this is *not* a new m16 or whatever file that you might have to update. 
to. "kid" is just a pseudo language.

no it is not and I don't know the deadline. I guess the new milestone

Localisations from POOTLE seems the be integrated as far as it concerns 
the repai of the MACRO SECURITY-windows

which was Issue 110290 dialog Macro Security NOT translated

Did find to faulty strings though, which were earlier repared in POOTLE.

top corner and on the splash screen and on the welcome window uses a wider
font. I did not know anything about rebranding. Was that really necessary?
Now all the webpages, including all the localization teams sites must be
redesigned. I mean, who decides on these things, Hamburg, Oracle or the
community as a whole? Changing a logo of an application that resides on so
many desktops without letting the main community members know beforehand
about it - strange, not? At least there could be a vote or something between
several options. And the change is introduced with a minor release ...

the migration of the SUN / vendor based translation into pootle cause 
some headache, as some communities did translate and some not ( and I 
did this the first time ). I tried not to overwrite anything, sorry if

will take this over then from there for the next cws.

yes there will be another l10n cws comming soon. But you should take a 
look if the current one if everything is ok. The earlyer we find 
problems the more time we have to fix them !

instsets in all languages for all plattforms:


150mb * 100 * 6 = 9 mb = 87 GB

I have only 120 GB free space on this drive thus I could not 
additionally upload all of the language packs, archives etc

Hello again,

regarding the new design - on Windows I noticed that the Writer/Web exe/app
does not have an updated icon as the other apps, it still uses the old one
(a star on a stylized document with the seagulls).

Also, the new icons, especially the Writer one, does not look nice on the
standard XP quickstart bar, because it uses same blue color and it kind of
looks smaller and less noticeable than the other quickstart icons. In that
toolbar it looks like a balloon (dialogue-like) so it actually reminds of an
IM application and not a document editor.

I wish this new look would get more thorough testing before even deciding it
is the right one for this suite.
