It's the same for
https://www.openoffice.org/it/download/
http://www.openoffice.org/es/descargar/
and possibly others.

What's gone wrong? Some old JavaScript issues that resurfaced with the
new download page? Breaking download pages is always bad, hopefully the
new system will fix this.

Please send us an automatically generated report as described in

The Windows installer you downloaded on another computer will work on
XP. If you can't see the links on the old computer is probably because
the web page cannot detect your system correctly, so we need this
information to fix the download links for other users.

The direct link to the latest English Windows version is

I've now committed the minimal fixes to go to the main download page from
http://www.openoffice.org/es/descargar/
http://www.openoffice.org/pt/download/
http://www.openoffice.org/it/download/
but this is not a solution, I've simply added a link to the new global
download page. If you see other broken N-L download pages please report
them.

But I still don't know how we should fix this properly. What's the most
sustainable way to have all advantages of the new system and still avoid
the risk that the main download button disappears from localized sites?

  Andrea.

Currently, any native language with its own "download" area/directory needs
to be fixed. I just checked on a few of them.

In answer to your question, the most "sustainable" way would be to have ALL
areas transfer to the main download page that was properly translated upon
arrival. We need to work on this approach.

I will work on fixes for other areas today. There are probably some
easier approaches using logic with CMS as well. More later.

The flyer we will adjust so that it is clear that there are Apache
officially supported versions of OpenOffice and other versions out
there that are not attributable to Apache.

The icons we are already taking in so far as they are already
officially. If you can link us templates with the new icons that would
be helpful. Until then we try to get along with the old flyers.

Yes, i want the originals.

I will write again as soon We will be creating two new rollups. We
note that the banners are interchangeable.
as we have finished our templates.

Thats OK.

not exactly -- a different NEW js setup with different requirements, etc.

I've attempted to fix all the incorrect DL links in sites for which we
offer binaries --

http://sourceforge.net/projects/openofficeorg.mirror/files/4.1.0/binaries/

All of these areas should have direct web site pages --

e.g.

http://www.openoffice.org/hu/

The only exception is the Hebrew website because I know we have an
active volunteer for that site who has just done a lovely overhaul, so
perhaps he can do the fix for that site.

http://www.openoffice.org/he/

We need some verification for the changes. I did not have all the fonts
for some of these areas, and I don't know what harm I may have done
because of this. We can, of course, do reverts as necessary.

I think the recent download changes are good and will help us establish
a more standardized way of dealing with the downloads. I'm optimistic
that we can 'template' the English download page for this purpose.
