[RESULT]

This vote for Struts 1.3.5 quality resulted in:

Binding votes from PMC members:
 GA: Don Brown, James Mitchell
 Beta: Wendy Smoak, James Holmes

Non-binding votes:
 GA: Anders Steinlein, Paul Benedict

Struts 1.3.5 can therefore be released as Beta quality.

I'll work on getting the distribution out onto the mirrors and ibiblio
today, and post the announcement to user@ once everything is in place.

Wendy, I think there may be a mistake. I am a committer now :-) At least I
thought I was ::scratches head::.

It's the PMC votes that are binding. In the normal course, we usually
invite a committer to join the PMC after six months or so.

Thanks Ted. I understand better now. I still think 1.3.5 is great!

RE: [VOTE] Struts 1.3.5 Quality (re-vote)

2006-08-15 Thread Paul Benedict
I have successfully converted over a very large application to Struts 1.3.5.
The backwards compatibility is amazing, and I also had no problems using the
old request processor. Really, I am impressed and didn't expect it to go this
smooth, and I just want to say congratulations and good job for everyone who
worked on it for the last 18 months. Because of the success I had, I am giving
it a +1 for GA quality. I believe it is good enough for people to build and
upgrade production applications with it.

LOL. No fair voting twice, James :)

As it stands, we have two beta and two GA.

binding or not.
