Hi Irham,
Regarding APIMANAGER3363StoreAPIConsoleWithReverseProxy TestCase,

This test should be run with load balancer enabled environment and it is
mentioned in class level comments. Anyway, Can you please share the full
error log so we can find the root cause.

Thanks

Re: [Dev] Test case failure in AS

2015-04-22 Thread Supun Malinga
Hi,

In investigated same/similar issue while doing build stabilization. AFAIR
issue at the time was due to registry dep-sync being unsatisfied.

We can easily analyse this by starting a vanila pack in osgi console and
looking for unsatisfied service components.

thanks,

Re: [Dev] Goals for the Test hackathon next week

2015-04-22 Thread Dimuthu Leelarathne
Hi,

We are using Carbon integration framework. Here is the first sample.
https://github.com/wso2/product-af/blob/master/modules/integration/integration-test-utils/src/main/java/org/wso2/appfactory/integration/test/utils/rest/AppMgtRestClient.java

We need to write RestClients for the whole block layer as above. Right now
we have one. In a week we'll have 10!

Ideally we should NOT wipe out but rather keep creating on top of it. Then
when we do a milestone (migration required change) run migration scripts to
verify them.

thanks,
dimuthu

 Hi Irham,

 About YouTubeUIPagesTestCase failure,

 Check whether *apiAccessInfo.getAccessToken() *passing the correct
 access token.
  If the access token is different or empty, check the logic inside
 doSubscribe()
 method in  org.wso2.am.integration.ui.tests.pages.store.StoreHomePage.java

 testAPIPage.testAPI(apiAccessInfo.getAccessURL() + API_METHOD,

Re: [Dev] How to change configuration file and run the integration tests?

2015-04-22 Thread Krishantha Samaraweera
Hi Sinthuja,

As mentioned by Saneth you can use ServerConfigurationManager class to
configure server.

To execute same set of tests with different configuration you can use
TestNG groups. Please see the example code below. You need to define two
test blocks in testng.xml and execute each group separately.

public class MainGroupClass {

@BeforeTest(groups = {"g1"}, alwaysRun = false)
public void setUpG1() {
//configuration goes here
sleep();
System.out.println("BeforeMethod G1");
}

@AfterTest(groups = {"g1"}, alwaysRun = false)
public void tearDownG1() {
//revert configuration
sleep();
System.out.println("AfterMethod G1");
}

@BeforeTest(groups = {"g2"}, alwaysRun = false)
public void setUpG2() {
//configuration goes here
sleep();
System.out.println("BeforeMethod G2");
}

@AfterTest(groups = {"g2"}, alwaysRun = false)
public void tearDownG2() {
//revert Configuration
sleep();
System.out.println("BeforeMethod G2");
}

private void sleep() {
try {
Thread.sleep(500);
} catch (InterruptedException e) {
e.printStackTrace();
}
}

}

public class BeforeTestGroups {

@Test(groups = {"g1", "g2"})
public void test1(){
sleep();
System.out.println("test1()");
}

@Test(groups = {"g1", "g2"})
public void test2(){
sleep();
System.out.println("test2()");
}

private void sleep(){
try {
Thread.sleep(500);
} catch (InterruptedException ignored) {

}
}
}

 Tests run: 26, Failures: 9, Errors: 0, Skipped: 1

 When i go through the code i found the following lines which may
 causing the test failures.

 APIMANAGER3272ExternalLogoutPageTestCase

- Getting an 404 when try to access
https://localhost:9443/store/site/pages/login.jag.
- In the code variable externalLogoutPage has assigned "custom
logout page url".

 APIMANAGER3344ScopeSpecificTokenTestCase

- Searching Select Scopes link inside My Subscriptions page in the
store but i don't see any select scope link in that page.

 APIMANAGER3363StoreAPIConsoleWithReverseProxy

- When click on API Console tag getting an exception in log and
also bellowing exception under that tag - 500 : undefined

 https://localhost:9443/store/api-docs/admin%40apimanager3363.com/APIMANAGER3363/1.0.0
.

 APIMANAGER3366MultipleGatewayPublishTestCase

- In the publisher when adding the API in the manage state it's
expecting input.env css selector but it's not in that page.

 APIMANAGER3371BusinessInformationClearedWhenAPISavedButton

- In the publisher when adding the API in the manage state it's try
to click on xpath //form[@id='manage_form']/fieldset[3]/legend but
it's not in that page.

 APIMANAGER3412DifferentRegistryContextPath

- In the publisher when adding the API in the design state it's try
to find a element by id jsonform-0-elt-production_endpoints but
it's not in that page.

 APIVersoinStatTestCase

- In the publisher in the all API page when it's empty it's trying
to find versionTxt by id but it's not in that page.

 TestNameLengthTestCase

- When running this test alone it's working. Some other test/tests
might be the reason of failure of this test case.

 YouTubeUIPagesTestCase

- testAPIPage.getTestResponseBody() gives http://wso2.org/apimanager/security";>900902Missing

Re: [Dev] Goals for the Test hackathon next week

2015-04-22 Thread Manisha Gayathri
So here, from what I understood, what we are supposed deliver are below
 - a set of curl commands (since the block layer calls can be executed as
REST calls) with validations whether they generate correct results
 - a shell script to execute all the above curl commands

With the CI/CD effort, we will be running integration tests daily.
Generally, when the integration tests finishes, we wipe out the system. In
this case, we will not flush any tenant data soon after integration tests
end, and let this script run against this setup.
Then, once these block layer tests are executed, we can wipe out the
system.

WDYT?

Thanks
Manisha

[Dev] Please Review and Merge the PR

2015-04-22 Thread Chamalee De Silva
Hi,

This is the fix PR [1] for the public JIRA [2].

Consumer-key:authz_user combination is used to validate the subscription
throttling tier instead of using access token.

Through that the ability of the user to send more than permitted number of
requests per minute by regenerating the access token is avoided.

Please review and merge.

Damith,
If you want to know the exact reason for bundle activation issue,You can do
following.

 Start the server in osgi console (./wso2server.sh -DosgiConsole)

Then type "ss org.wso2.carbon.identity.application"
then you will see the bundle id of this particular bundle.

then type "start *bundle_id*"

Then the console will display the reason for not getiing started.

For more details please see[1]

Re: [Dev] [IS] Component Version Conflict

2015-04-22 Thread Mahesh Chinthaka
Hi Damith
I hope you will be able to test your changes by renaming the build jar and
putting it to repository/components/dropings
Rename your jar exactly in to this org.wso2.carbon.identity.
application.mgt-4.3.4.SNAPSHOT

please note it has "." not "_" before SNAPSHOT keyword.

If you put your own log saying something inside your fix you can surely
know that your changes are applied.

Re: [Dev] Carbon 4.4.0 is not starting on my computer

2015-04-22 Thread Tharik Kanaka
Hi Madhuranga.

Is your JAVA_HOME set to jdk 1.7?
Since you could run carbon 4.2.0 it seems like JAVA_HOME is set to jdk 1.6
and carbon 4.4.0 supports jdk 1.7 onwards.

2015-04-22 Thread Damith Senanayake
Hi Rajith,

I have done that already, but that is when I got the said conflict which
hangs at starting up the server. I think it is because of some OSGI
dependencies that have conflicts when the new version is built. Any work
around it?

2015-04-22 Thread Rajith Vitharana
Hi Damith,

Since you only need to test this, change 4.4.1 SNAPSHOT name to 4.3.4
SNAPSHOT in you pom xml, build it and put it into patch folder.

Thanks,

latest version here is version 4.4.1_SNAPSHOT however the version in use in

doesn't go beyond it.

[Dev] Unable to start axis2 server in wso2esb-4.9.0-M7-SNAPSHOT

2015-04-22 Thread Shakila Sivagnanarajah
Hi all,

I am getting error while starting up the axis2 server in

to fix this?

It says unable to determine dialect of StAX implementation at

extension. Is it the problem? Because axiom_1.2.11.wso2v5.jar is available
at /repository/components/plugins.

Please find the error log [1].

Re: [Dev] How to change configuration file and run the integration tests?

2015-04-22 Thread Saneth Dharmakeerthi
Hi Sinthuja,

a)You can change the configuration by using
applyConfigurationWithoutRestart()  methods in org.wso2.carbon.integration.
common.utils.mgt.ServerConfigurationManager.java. For sample usage of
ServerConfigurationManager [1] . You have to restart the server like in
the sample [1] to get the configaration to apply.

b) I am not clear about your 2nd requirement, Do you want to run the same
test case with 2 different configarations?

[Dev] How to change configuration file and run the integration tests?

2015-04-22 Thread Sinthuja Ragendran
Hi QAA team,

I have a requirement in DAS integration test to change a configuration file
and run the whole integration tests again.

Basically in DAS we have a core API which can run in LOCAL mode by using
osgi services, and REMOTE mode by connecting to a remote services in a
distributed setup. By default this configuration is LOCAL, and hence it
just uses the osgi services. But I need to tests the REMOTE functionality
as well by changing the configuration to REMOTE and point to localhost. And
currently the file is loaded only in the server start up, therefore
configuration fi. And I would prefer all the tests to be executed in both
modes to make sure functionality.

How can I achieve my requirement? Please advice.

Thanks,
Sinthuja.

Hi Yashira,

You can use registry.content() method. i.e.

var content = registry.content(*'/_system/governances/file'*);
*var *json = JSON.parse(content);

[Dev] [Jaggery] Retrieving contents from Resources

2015-04-22 Thread Yashira Perera
Hi all,

I have implemented a jaggery program which used to take contents from the
Registry. but once i retrieve the content it was like [B@3fe7fd75 .(byte
format)

The resource on registry is in json format and i used osgi
service(org.wso2.carbon.registry.core.service.RegistryService) to add and
retrieve the resource. My question is how to get the resource content as
json format?

Thanks

Here are some high level goals that comes to my mind. Please keep adding to
the list.

1 - Complete block layer covered. We are not looking at end-to-end user
story coverage. But complete block layer coverage. End to end user story
testing will be done by Selenium later
2 - Tests must run in Staging, Public Cloud, Dev
3 - All app types must be tested

WDYT? What else should we cover?

[Dev] [APIM] API subscription statistics cannot be viewed until user invokes an API.

2015-04-22 Thread Sewmini Jayaweera
Hi,

I have configured API manager in order to view runtime statistics using
[1].

When I publish an API and subscribe to it I could not view API
subscriptions statistics until the API got invoked. Please refer [2] in
order to see the jira.

It is highly appreciated if someone can explain me following queries I have.

1. As I understood API subscription related data is not stored in
'WSO2AM_STATS_DB'. If so from where does API manager read those information
in order to depict them.

2. How exactly API manager statistics get updated? Since it's not happening
real time, is there a time interval where the update happens? If so is it
configurable ?

[Dev] VFS Inbound Testing Scenario Daily Update.

2015-04-22 Thread Shakila Sivagnanarajah
Hi all,

I am doing the ESB task to test the VFS Inbound.
I went through some portion of Carbon-Mediation code related to VFS and
tested VFS file transfer functionality with Smooks mediator (Synapse Sample
654) so far.
Now I am trying to setup ESB worker/manager cluster without ELB.

Thank you

Hi Waruna,

Thanks for the response, I was able to get it to work. The issue was with
one of the config files , which was not getting copied hence the email
sending implementation was not getting deployed.

Thanks

 Hi Himasha,

 You can not achieve the functionality that you are looking for with
 GreanMail utility. If you want to receive mails you have to send mail
 first. Will further look through API if there is any possibility to provide
 what you have requested.

 Thanks,

Re: [Dev] Green Mail server : Email notifications based integration test

2015-04-22 Thread Waruna Perera
Hi Himasha,

I tested above scenario with the current implementation and it worked.

1) Started green mail server
2) Created user to receive mail
3) Created proxy service to send out mails
4) Once request is sent to proxy it send a mail to greenmail server
5) you can retrieve it

EmailServerUtil emailServerUtil;
emailServerUtil = new EmailServerUtil();
emailServerUtil.startMailServer();

emailServerUtil.createUser("to@localhost", "to", "to123");

int count = emailServerUtil.getReceivedMessages().length;

Please try this with your test case and let us know.

Thanks,

 Hi All,

 I'm in the process of writing an integration test which will test the
 email notification feature implementation of BPS. Therefore I have set up
 the GreenMail server with a user registered, to receive the emails, but the
 email count is always 0.

 When looking into methods provided by GreenMailUtil, it is noticed that
 to send an email ,GreenMailUtil.sendTextEmail() method is used. For this
 scenario, the email sending process will occur within the implementation.
 Therefore is it possible for the mail messages to be sent through feature
 implementation (without using above method) and just to receive the sent
 emails through GreenMail ? Following are the steps I have followed so far.

 1. Start GreenMail server
 2. Set a new user to created server
 3. Add axis2-client mailto configuration (same port as GreenMail server)
 4. Use method server.getReceivedMessages() to retrieve the emails.

 If this approach is not valid, any other suggestions on this will be
 appreciated.

 Thanks & Regards,

Options like active/inactive, edit etc are missing in the new layout.

Can you please check and the required options?

2015-04-22 Thread Pumudu Ruhunage
*WSO2 Message Broker 3.0.0 Milestone 7 Released !*

The WSO2 Message Broker team is pleased to announce the 7th milestone
release of WSO2 Message Broker (MB) 3.0.0.

WSO2 Message Broker (WSO2 MB) 3.0.0 is designed to be a fast, lightweight
and user friendly open source distributed message brokering system under
the Apache Software License v2.0
. It primarily allows
system administrators and developers to easily configure JMS queues and
topics which could be used for message routing, message stores and message
processors.

WSO2 MB is compliant with Advanced Message Queuing Protocol Version 0-9-1,
Java Message Service Specification version 1.1 and MQTT protocol version
3.1. WSO2 MB 3.0.0 is developed on top of the revolutionary WSO2 Carbon
platform (Middleware a' la carte), an
OSGi based framework that provides seamless modularity to your SOA via
modularization. This release also contains many other new features and a
range of optional components (add-ons) that can be installed to customize
the behavior of the MB. Further, any existing features of the MB which are
not required to your environment can be easily removed using the underlying
provisioning framework of Carbon. In a nutshell, WSO2 MB can be fully
customized and tailored to meet your exact SOA needs.

You can download this distribution from [1].

Release notes for this milestone can be found at [2].

Known issues are listed at [3].

This milestone has mainly focused on bug fixes and performance improvements.

All the test cases failed when I use latest APPM

Re: [Dev] APIM ui integration tests

Hi Irham,

About YouTubeUIPagesTestCase failure,

Check whether *apiAccessInfo.getAccessToken() *passing the correct access
token.
 If the access token is different or empty, check the logic inside
doSubscribe()
method in  org.wso2.am.integration.ui.tests.pages.store.StoreHomePage.java
class.

testAPIPage.testAPI(apiAccessInfo.getAccessURL() + API_METHOD,
*apiAccessInfo.getAccessToken()*);
//Test response body
assertTrue(testAPIPage.getTestResponseBody().contains(RESPONSE_BODY_TEST_STRING),
RESPONSE_BODY_TEST_STRING + " should be in the respond body");

Thanks and Best Regards,

Re: [Dev] APIM ui integration tests

2015-04-22 Thread Irham Iqbal
Hi,

Currently I am fixing the following APIM UI integration tests failures.

Results :

Tests run: 26, Failures: 9, Errors: 0, Skipped: 1

When i go through the code i found the following lines which may causing
the test failures.

APIMANAGER3272ExternalLogoutPageTestCase

   - Getting an 404 when try to access
   https://localhost:9443/store/site/pages/login.jag.
   - In the code variable externalLogoutPage has assigned "custom logout
   page url".

APIMANAGER3344ScopeSpecificTokenTestCase

   - Searching Select Scopes link inside My Subscriptions page in the store
   but i don't see any select scope link in that page.

APIMANAGER3363StoreAPIConsoleWithReverseProxy

   - When click on API Console tag getting an exception in log and also
   bellowing exception under that tag - 500 : undefined

https://localhost:9443/store/api-docs/admin%40apimanager3363.com/APIMANAGER3363/1.0.0
   .

APIMANAGER3366MultipleGatewayPublishTestCase

   - In the publisher when adding the API in the manage state it's
   expecting input.env css selector but it's not in that page.

APIMANAGER3371BusinessInformationClearedWhenAPISavedButton

   - In the publisher when adding the API in the manage state it's try to
   click on xpath //form[@id='manage_form']/fieldset[3]/legend but it's
   not in that page.

APIMANAGER3412DifferentRegistryContextPath

   - In the publisher when adding the API in the design state it's try to
   find a element by id jsonform-0-elt-production_endpoints but it's not in
   that page.

APIVersoinStatTestCase

   - In the publisher in the all API page when it's empty it's trying to
   find versionTxt by id but it's not in that page.

TestNameLengthTestCase

   - When running this test alone it's working. Some other test/tests might
   be the reason of failure of this test case.

YouTubeUIPagesTestCase

   - testAPIPage.getTestResponseBody() gives http://wso2.org/apimanager/security";>900902Missing
   CredentialsRequired OAuth credentials not
   provided. Make sure your API invocation call has a header: "Authorization:
   Bearer ACCESS_TOKEN"

Thanks,
Iqbal
