2017-03-27 Thread Harsha Thirimanna
Hi Vedang,

Thanks for the interesting about this proposal. I believe, you went through
this proposal and already identify the scopes and deliverables as well.
Have you tried out the WSO2 Identity Server ? By doing that, you can
identify the way to achieve this. There are lot of documentations and blogs
around this as well.

So you are not delay yet, and you can submit a good proposal as well.

thanks

 Hi,

I am working on the proposal and need some clarifications on the

Also I didn't find test classes in the implementation of DCR. So is
 testing
not considered in the scope of this project?
2. This feature will be implemented within the implementation of

Re: [Dev] Regarding the Google Summer of Code Project Proposal

2017-03-27 Thread Rukshan Premathunga
[+dev]

Hi Prabhash,

Glad to see your interest on the project. Idea of the project is to design
and implement a REST API using WSO2 MSF4J[1]. The implemented REST API
should be used when implementing new Analytics Dashboard for APIM(both
publisher, store and admin portal). Also this implemented REST API should
have a capabilities to extend easily to support future requirements. Also
at end you should be able to come-up with a sample dashboard implementation
using the above REST API.

To Get and Idea about current existing dashboard please go through our APIM
analytics documentation[2][3]. And also be familiar with APIM code[4][5]
and how the C5 based APIM implementation works.

 Hi Abishalani,

 The components are in /repository/components/plugins
folder. There you will find org.wso2.carbon.identity.
 oauth.dcr_5.3.4.jar.

You can checkout the tag v5.3.4 of the repository and then work through
the changes to the component. If you are going to apply the changes to the
product, you can build the jar and then create folder patch0001 (format of
the folder name should be "patch" and then a four digit number. Patches are
applied in the order of the number) in
 /repository/components/patches
and place the newly built jar inside that. After this you have to restart
the server. Please note that the for jars you are going patch name should
be equal to the original jar in dropins folder.

If you successfully installed the changes, you will be able to notice a
log like below at the next start up.

 Hi,

Do I need extra params to invoke the userinfo endpoint (

 I'm getting

I set up the WSO2 CEP locally and started studying Siddhi in more

Also, I have started drafting a proposal for the project. Your advice

Does it make sense to use the client_credentials grant type to get a token
with user information?

AFAIK it is used to get an access token for the application to talk to an
API/resource. Only user related here would be the developer who created
this app, isn't it?

Re: [Dev] [IS] Issue while trying to call oauth2 userinfo

2017-03-27 Thread Indunil Upeksha Rathnayake
Hi Hanen,

In order to get a set of user claims, you can configure the claims as
requested claims in the Service Provider configuration.

And from IS 5.2.0 onwards we have introduced OpenIDConnect claim scopes.
When you are requesting an OIDC token, you can specify a scope value that
is bound to a set of claims, in your case you have specified the "openid"
scope. And with OpenIDConnect claim scopes in IS 5.2.0, when you invoke the
user info endpoint with that OIDC token, only the claims which are common
in both OIDC scope configuration and SP configuration will be returned.
If you need, you can add any claim as supported claims for a scope in
oidc-scope-config.xml (or you can configure this using 'oidc' file found in
the registry at /_system/config/oidc) and configure that in SP requested
claims, in order to retrieve that claim when invoking the user info
endpoint.

Thanks and Regards

Re: [Dev] [CEP] GSoC Project - Siddhi Extension Doc Auto Generation

2017-03-27 Thread Nadun De Silva
Hi,

I have prepared a proposal and I have shared it with WSO2 via the GSoC web
portal.

In the proposal, I have not gone into detail about the design and
implementation of the "combination of documentation" part (deliverable
3) since we have not completely finalised details on how we should do that.
Would that be enough for the proposal?

Please let me know if there are any changes required in the proposal. I am
hoping to submit the final proposal based any suggestions received from you.

Thank you.

not a requirement at this point.

To identify the return value use the "returnAttributes()": for
functions this will have only the return type and no names, for windows
this will return empty, and for stream processors this can have some
 attributes with names.

 Hi Suho,

You can find the python version of test case written using Pyjnius
 in below link.
 https://github.com/madhawav/CEP-Python-Wraps/tree/master/Pyj
 nius%20Prototype%20Wrap
Instructions on building the code is also given their.

During development, I noticed following disadvantages of Pyjnius API

- Not compatible with Python 3.x.
- There are no stable releases. However, the code available in
master branch is relatively stable.
- Difficult to configure. It is required to develop the library
from source. This would make it difficult to distribute an API
 developed on
Pyjnius.
- There are no evidence that a proper release would be done
soon.

However, Pyjnius supports callback of events from Java to Python.
Additionally, it is easier to develop using Pyjnius ones it is
 configured.

So, I had a looked at some of the other options as well.

[Dev] API Calls fail while UserStoreConfigurationDeployer is running

2017-03-27 Thread regAW
Hi,
i have a problem with my WSO2-am. The UserStoreConfigurationDeployer is running up to 20 times per day. During that time alle request to the api return a 500 http error. The backend is not called.
I created a question on stackoverflow ( http://stackoverflow.com/questions/42859483/the-service-cannot-be-found-for-the-endpoint-reference-while-user-store-configur ) but no answers so far.
Can someone have a look at this or at least can confirm that it will not happen under 2.1?

Hi Isuru,

I tried this locally by adding to the SvnPassword to cipher-tool.properties
and cipher-text.properties and then ran cipher-tool.sh -Dconfigure and it
encrypted without any issue.

cipher-tool.properties:
Carbon.DeploymentSynchronizer.SvnPassword=repository/conf/carbon.xml//Server/DeploymentSynchronizer/SvnPassword,false

cipher-text.properties:
Carbon.DeploymentSynchronizer.SvnPassword=[password]

Nira

Re: [Dev] Adding a connector via command line

2017-03-27 Thread Malaka Silva
Hi Aaron,

Another way to do this in addition to what Maheeka mentioned is include
connector(s) as part of carbon application project and deploy it with ESB.

You can simply copy the xx.car file
to /repository/deployment/server/carbonapps folder.

In 4.4.x, the value at the end should be changed from true to false. This

Re: [Dev] [IS] Issue while trying to call oauth2 userinfo

Thanks Farasath,

That returned the sub attribute, how can I retrieve more information about
the user knowing that I'm using client_credentials as a grant type?

Hanen
