[development-axapta] is it possible?

2005-01-16 Thread Paulius Cerniauskas

We programm Enterprise portal for our client. Theres
is a form where user fills in tha data and then
presses "add record" button. The same form appears,
validation is performed and if there are errors info
is displayed and the recors isn't added. Client
doesn't like the form is displayed with ampty new
record line (all values are gone) if  there are
errors. For some reason the client doesn't like press
"Back" button on web browser and asks to make
additional button "back" at the bootom of the form.
How to make that when you press this button you return

[development-axapta] Re: Modified() with Text Box

2005-01-16 Thread ozzage

A better place to put your code is in the validate() field.

You can return either true or false from validate() depending on the
user's selection in the box, and this will tell Axapta whether or not
to make the modification.  It's easier, plus it's "the Axapta way."

Also, if your grid date control is bound to a table field, then you're
better to use the validate() - or modified() if you do it that way -
on the field on the datasource, rather than directly on the grid
control.  This way, if another control is put on the form for the same
field, your validation code will still be run.

Hope that helps

I know its something to do with placing super() call.

Subject: [development-axapta] Need help on Axap3.0 Exam Preparation

Hi,

MY company is pressurizing me to take the certification exam in AX3.0
programming ( new year gift!) from the company.
I have only 3 months of exp with Axapta, but working hard to learn
things. I have searched the forum very much to get an over view of the
Axam preparation on odentifying the type of questions.
Can anyone help me in identifying the exam sections to focus on with
breakup and I am planning to use DEV guid, Morphx integration and X++
programming guide. Are the question multiple choice question?. If
someone has some Sample Questions, Can you please share with me so that
I can get an overview?. How many questions should be answered correctly
and out of how many?.

Appreciate any help.
