Ok again, my mistake yikes. Humm, we need a better solution to grab all of these mistakes. Or at least Word didn't find any of them :/

Not going to miss this opportunity! But... all this sure is confusing (at least for a non-regular-conference-goer). Registration is free, OK, so what's the catch? Maybe attendance isn't? Or are we expected to stay at Hotel Kronwell? :) I filled in the "join for free" form, but all I got is confirmation that I subscribed to a mailing list... no confirmation of registration or anything... And with over 300 registrants 3 days ago, there is no feedback on whether the conference is booked out or anything! The event is sponsored by Siemens and free for the audience. I'll relay your confusion to the organizers. -- Andrei

I think you a grammatical error there. Honestly I think if you're going to pull people up on grammar/spelling errors you really need to do yourself a favour and not have the same type of error in your own post. It undermines your case somewhat and, frankly, makes you look like a bit of a dick. Apologies in advance if this was a well-meaning post but to be honest the tone didn't seem that friendly. Cheers, A.

Really, that seemed unnecessary :) I can't speak for Andrej, but personally I think corrections for published articles are helpful, and TWiD has a wider audience than this forum (or at least so I hope). Typos in a post with typo corrections don't change the validity of the corrections, and I did not find anonymous' post mean in any way. Plus, I think that at least the second mistake was on purpose and meant as a joke: http://knowyourmeme.com/memes/i-accidentally

I don't think Adam minds my nagging. I hope he doesn't. I sure don't mean to berate anyone for making typos. I wouldn't point them out in a forum post. But TWID is like two or three steps up from that.

Ah in that case I unreservedly reiterate the aforementioned apology :-) Good point re. the wider distribution. It's just s tricky sometimes figuring out intent on the web. Adam's someone I hold in very high esteem, and we Scots tend to react quite strongly to a slight ( perceived or otherwise) against those we consider our buddies :-) It just looked like you were taking a few potshots for fun , but given the wider context makes sense... Cheers, A.
Digger 2.4
https://github.com/CyberShadow/Digger/releases/tag/2.4 Digger v2.4 (2015-10-05) * Fetch tags explicitly when updating (fixes some "unknown /ambiguous revision" errors) * Prepend result `bin` directory to `PATH` (fixes behavior when a `dmd` binary was installed in `/usr/bin`) * Add support for the `debugDMD` build option on POSIX * Fix incorrect repository tree order when using `git` cache engine * Fix `rebuild` ignoring build options on the command-line * Automatically install KindleGen locally when building website * Update OptLink installer * Download platform-specific DMD release packages (contributed by Martin Nowak) Digger v2.3 (2015-06-14) * Add `bisectBuild` bisect config option * Add `--with` and `--without` switches to control D components to build * Add `website` component for building dlang.org (POSIX-only) * Work around `appender` memory corruption bug with `git` cache engine * Various fixes Digger v2.2 (2015-06-05) * Fix `digger install` to work with `object.d` * Improve resilience of `digger install` * Add `--bootstrap` switch to build compiler entirely from C++ source * Replace usage of `git bisect run` with internal implementation * Bisection now prefers cached builds when choosing a commit to test * Allow customizing the set of components to build during bisection * Use git plumbing in git cache driver for concurrency and better performance * Don't cache build failures if the error is likely temporary Digger is a tool for working with D's source code and its history. It can build D (including older D versions), customize the build with pending pull requests or forks, and find the exact pull request which introduced a regression (or fixed a bug). It comes with a web interface which makes building D from source trivial even for people new to D, Git or the command line.

I confess I slapped this one together in a bit of a rush: yesterday didn't feel like Sunday to me (it was a special weekend in my church so my routine was all changed) so I forgot to do it and instead quickly pieced it together today in an attempt to get it out before it was too late.
