My point is that any random Joe looking for D stuff, and who has no clue about the release schedule, can stumble across it and share it. It's the downside of separating the release and the announcement of the release -- loss of control. Then just post them on the newsgroup.

By releasing video I mean simply making it available to those who are interested. By announcing - actually posting links to forum / reddit / whatever and encouraging discussion. By keeping that stuff separate you can both make happy those who await for videos and create marketing events Andrei wants. All you have to do is still do the one-every-few-days "official" releases, with a nice announcement. It could be called "featured talk of today" or whatever. I find it nice to have each video gaining some time in the spotlight and the discussions that follow. Even though I'm so exited I actually want all the videos at once!

Aye, we could also, if we want some "new" thing to post to reddit each time, also write accompanying articles or something so even people who watch them all early will still have a reason to click and get involved instead of just leaking the links themselves.

Hi Can any one advise when we can expect the conference talks (and perhaps the slides as well) to available to download or via Utube ? I saw some of the streamed talks, but would love to view the rest. cheers Nick
