[OT] Using latest 7.9 nightly. I added a new album to my Music folder (the folder entered at LMS > Settings > Basic Settings > Music Folders). Using BMF I browsed to the album and played a track. I can now access this new album by: Home > Album Artists > Home > Albums > Home > Genres > Home Years > All above complete with cover art. I concede that this new album *does not* show under Home > New Music, nor can I search for it. No interest in BMF. Amy kind of complex stuff, like deep search or directly setting complex alarms and such. It's the only thing I'd ever consider to use voice for but it's hard... Doh... Been there! My main rsync job (the #1 backup) is wrapped in a Perl script that counts directories on the source drive and doesn't do anything if nothing is found. I haven't found this to be an issue since putting everything under Ubuntu, but it bit me pretty hard once when I was doing file sharing under Windows.
