Re: [slim] Spotify Discover Weekly Playlist Missing
It's there with iPeng for me. Mind you, it seems to me that the selection of music for this weekly playlist hasn't been so good lately. Maybe that reflects my limited listening on Spotify recently. I think if I switched to Sonos, that's what I'd go for, but I think I'd miss having an equivalent to the Squeezebox Radio. Re: [slim] Don't Stop The Music
Hi Michael, I am afraid I have misguided you a little.The music goes on due to sugarcube that picks song after song. DSTM should provide a list of songs (a playlist of 5 or more like smartmix in the past but this is not the case.The belief that last mix was working is due to random selection of next song in sugarcube-musicip plugin everytime I was trying the same song. Quite disappointing...but restoration of sugarcube was a welcome side effect.if you still have the patience please check the log file: "...perl5/vendor_perl/Slim/Plugin/Favorites/strings.txt [17-01-07 00:14:01.0884] Slim::Utils::Strings::loadStrings (218) Loading string file: /usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl/Slim/Plugin/RS232/strings.txt [17-01-07 00:14:01.0907] Slim::Utils::Strings::loadStrings (218) Loading string file: /usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl/Slim/Plugin/CLI/strings.txt [17-01-07 00:14:01.0957] Slim::Utils::Strings::loadStrings (218) Loading string file: /usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl/Slim/Plugin/WiMP/strings.txt [17-01-07 00:14:01.1050] Slim::Utils::Strings::loadStrings (218) Loading string file: /usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl/Slim/Plugin/OPMLGeneric/strings.txt [17-01-07 00:14:01.1057] Slim::Utils::Strings::loadStrings (218) Loading string file: /var/lib/squeezeboxserver/cache/InstalledPlugins/Plugins/PowerSave/strings.txt [17-01-07 00:14:01.1126] Slim::Utils::Strings::loadStrings (218) Loading string file: /var/lib/squeezeboxserver/cache/InstalledPlugins/Plugins/SpotifyProtocolHandler/strings.txt [17-01-07 00:14:01.1136] Slim::Utils::Strings::storeString (403) redefined string: PLUGIN_SPOTIFY_EULA in /var/lib/squeezeboxserver/cache/InstalledPlugins/Plugins/SpotifyProtocolHandler/strings.txt [17-01-07 00:14:01.1151] Slim::Utils::Strings::loadStrings (218) Loading string file: /usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl/Slim/Plugin/DigitalInput/strings.txt [17-01-07 00:14:01.1165] Slim::Utils::Strings::loadStrings (218) Loading string file: /usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl/Slim/Plugin/Live365/strings.txt [17-01-07 00:14:01.1312] Slim::Utils::Strings::loadStrings (218) Loading string file: /usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl/Slim/Plugin/iTunes/strings.txt [17-01-07 00:14:01.1477] Slim::Utils::Strings::loadStrings (218) Loading string file: /usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl/Slim/Plugin/Orange/strings.txt [17-01-07 00:14:01.1486] Slim::Utils::Strings::loadStrings (218) Loading string file: /usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl/Slim/Plugin/RhapsodyDirect/strings.txt [17-01-07 00:14:01.1511] Slim::Utils::Strings::loadStrings (218) Loading string file: /var/lib/squeezeboxserver/cache/InstalledPlugins/Plugins/SugarCube/strings.txt [17-01-07 00:14:01.1621] Slim::Utils::Strings::storeString (403) redefined string: PLUGIN_SUGARCUBE_DESCINSTALL in /var/lib/squeezeboxserver/cache/InstalledPlugins/Plugins/SugarCube/strings.txt [17-01-07 00:14:01.1634] Slim::Utils::Strings::loadStrings (218) Loading string file: /usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl/Slim/Plugin/SpotifyLogi/strings.txt [17-01-07 00:14:01.1665] Slim::Utils::Strings::loadStrings (218) Loading string file: /usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl/Slim/Plugin/YALP/strings.txt [17-01-07 00:14:01.2246] Slim::Utils::Strings::loadStrings (218) Loading string file: /usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl/Slim/Plugin/SlimTris/strings.txt [17-01-07 00:14:01.2382] Slim::Utils::Strings::loadStrings (218) Loading string file: /usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl/Slim/Plugin/RSSNews/strings.txt [17-01-07 00:14:01.2420] Slim::Utils::Strings::loadStrings (225) Storing string cache: /var/lib/squeezeboxserver/cache/stringcache.x86_64-linux.bin [17-01-07 00:14:01.2537] Slim::Utils::Strings::storeString (403) redefined string: RADIOTIME_SEARCH in unknown [17-01-07 00:14:01.2540] Slim::Utils::Strings::storeString (403) redefined string: RADIOTIME_LOCAL in unknown [17-01-07 00:14:01.2542] Slim::Utils::Strings::storeString (403) redefined string: RADIOTIME_WORLD in unknown [17-01-07 00:14:01.2544] Slim::Utils::Strings::storeString (403) redefined string: INTERNET_RADIO in unknown [17-01-07 00:14:01.2553] main::init (497) Server SQL init (Slim::Utils::SQLiteHelper)... [slim] Lost Napster playlist
When I went onto my SB Touch this morning, one of my Napster playlists was missing from my list of playlists on the Touch. To be sure that the playlist still existed on my Napster account, I checked it both on my Napster app on my home PC and on my phone, and it's there. For the SB Touch, I suppose it's possible that one of my kids could have accidentally hit the option for "Remove playlist from Library", but they don't recall doing that. To get the playlist back, I've tried rebooting the Touch, but that didn't change anything. I also went onto mysqueezebox.com, but there are no options there for adding / deleting playlists. Is it possible I have too many Napster playlists (I have 65 of them) and that I've exceeded some SB Touch threshold for max number of playlists? Any other ideas for how to get this playlist back to being listed / available on the Touch? Thanks a lot! Re: [slim] A Final Goodbye and thanks to this amazing community
Hi Exile, if Spotify is what you listen to, I can completely understand you crossing over to the dark side ;-) The ease of use on Sonos and the reliability are great for that, friend of mine has Sonos and I never get a call that something is not working, whilst two friends that I got started on LMS plus PIs run into issues once in a while. For people who love their own large library especially also with hires files, Sonos isn't an option, strange they have still not redone their Boxen to accommodate these users. So enjoy your Sonos, absolutely the right decision for your needs. The only bad thing is, the Sonos community is so boring compared to ours, so you will loose a bit of a hobby.
