Re: [slim] Register your appreciation .....
A very big thank you to Sam & Chris for their amazing ongoing work on what I consider to be one of the most useful plugins available for LMS. I started using his Denon AVP Control Plugin several years ago when it was solely Chris's baby, and I thought then it was a breakthrough - possibly biased as I was running a Denon AVR - but it was certainly greatly appreciated when I stumbled on it back then. It seemed to almost fall by the wayside for many users of LMS and at times I felt I was one of only a couple of users, and then along came Chris (possibly the other person using it!) to breath fresh fire into it! Together these amazing code wizards have relentlessly kept on developing the plugin to where it is today, in my mind indispensable if you run Marantz/Denon receivers with your LMS system! Thanks a trillion to both of you, your work is greatly appreciated! [slim] pCP on Raspberry Pi3 - unable to update to 3.22 using pCP GUI - fails
Am running Audiophile version of pCP 3.21 on Raspberry Pi3 with 8Gb SD card with full card partitioned for the file system. Trying to upgrade to standard version 3.22 via pCP GUI but I am sometimes getting error message "Sourceforge not accessible!!", and if I get to downloading the new version when it is installing errors of "unable to download". I have tried many times and am getting varying errors. Anyone having this problem, or is it just my system? Re: [slim] Spotify and Synchronization - testers needed
Hi Michael, This morning I was playing Spotify through the official app on LMS and all was good. When I turned on a second synced LMS player the system halted and message "invalid username or password" was displayed. Same problem as earlier. I do not know when the issue started again as this is the first time I have synced when using Spotify for a week or so. [slim] LMS settings always asking for restart of server
Doesn't matter how many times I restart LMS on the ReadyNas, when I go to web ui it is always asking for a restart. I also note that the error message http://denonavpcontrol.googlecode.com/files/repo.xml - 404 Not Found> The repository is still listed in , and the Denon AVR plugin is still listed as active and is working. Are the two related? Is the repository broken? Why does the plugin still work if the repository is broken? Re: [slim] Community Funded Squeezebox Replacement - Would you be interested?
I haven't had enough time (or possibly intelligence!) to read right through this thread but the concept of such a project is exciting, and in my mind, very desirable. I am not a tech geek but have spent more than 40 years trying out just about every new music device that has been there to try. At this point I am voting my recently acquired Squeezebox Touches to be the best I have found yet. There has to be a progression, most likely with video streaming via HDMI (for now) but any I have tried are almost crap. Audio only, or with video, I would love to see this project be successful. How much would I need to get in on it at a user level? I have picked up a lot of the background from this thread but am wondering if anyone is keeping a "role call" on ideas, and documenting the progress so far?
