Re: [slim] Internet Radio Option Gone From Menu...
Thanks...bssed on your reply, I realized that I had changed the setting in the Status tab in the Squeezebox Control Panel from "Automatically Run at Log In" to "Automatically Run at Start Up"...likely the Squeezebox Server was starting up BEFORE the Internet was connected. Once I switched it back to starting up at log in (in other words, later), it worked fine. Thanks again, Lawrence. -- fishbone fishbone's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=23063 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=79747 ___ discuss mailing list discuss@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/discuss

Haven't tried a factory reset but maybe I should...not so bad to lose my custom settings. Thanks... but that's the problem. "Select Player" IS on the home menu. However, regardless of the player I select, it always says "Turn On Back Deck". The option doesn't change regardless of which player is selected and the opportunity to add that function to the Home Menu doesn't change in Settings>Home Menu. It only allows me to select "Turn On Back Deck" regardless of whether I have the Back Deck player selected for the Family Room player selected. -- fishbone fishbone's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=23063 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=79466 ___ discuss mailing list discuss@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/discuss
[slim] Artists Option Disappears on Squeezebox Controlloer
When I first turn on my Squeezebox Duet Controller (I am running the Controller with two SB3s -- I do not have the Duet box), Home>MyMusic shows Artists, Albums, Years, Genres etc. However, once I switch the Controller to control another player, Artists disppears and only Albums, Years, Genres, etc. are available to me. This DOES NOT happen on the SB3 (i.e. using the standard remote and the SB3 display). This wouldn't be a problem if scrolling through Artists wasn't my favourite way to look for music. Any thoughts here??? Two hiccups...First, ONLY "Turn On ***Player Name***" shows up in the Settings>Home Menu List. It turns on the device but it does not turn it off. Second...I have two players (Family Room and Back Deck). When I have selected the controller to control the Back Deck, "Turn on Back Deck" appears on the Home Menu list. But when the Family Room player is selected, it "Turn on Back Deck" still appears on the Home Menu List. When I go into Settings>Home Menu, there is no option to select "Turn on Family Room", ONLY "Turn on Back Deck". Thanks in advance for any additional help. -- fishbone fishbone's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=23063 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=79466 ___ discuss mailing list discuss@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/discuss

Re: [slim] Best Router to Use With Squeezbox?
After reading another forum last night, I tried two new things based on the information there: 1. defragged my computer, and 2. moved my second Airport Express (the signal extender) away from a wall that I know has metal behind it (I don't know why or what it is). Anyway, one of those two things did the job and the Squeezebox has been working flawlessly since (hope I didn't just jinx it). Re: [slim] Best Router to Use With Squeezbox?
All...thank you very much for your various replies. My issue is constant rebuffering on my SB3 that is a floor away from my Airport Express base station. I have tried switching channels but there are many competing networks in my area. I have tried an additional Airport Express as a ranger extender for the base station. Nothing is working. I can only assume that I need a stronger signal than the Airport Express can provide. By the way, the SB3 that sits close to my Airport Express base station works great constantly. I would love to run wired, but can't. Squeezebox help desk doesn't seem to be able to provide any solutions, so I am trying everything now. -- fishbone fishbone's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=23063 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=58591 ___ discuss mailing list discuss@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/discuss
