This had undoubtedly been asked elsewhere, sorry : are you able to present the My Favourites lists in the same order as they appear in the app? The most recently added at the top. It is a bit funny that the Tidal plugin for Logitechmediaserver presents the "My Mixes" flawlessly while a comparable streaming solution (Bluesound) does not even though some are very angry about that on their I only got the API documentation two or three weeks ago. Keep in mind that a commercial, supported product probably has QA involved. The SW architecture for LMS with its plugin based modularity is far faster in comparison. Great work, mherger! Now I can access all Tidal functions, including favorites and my mixes, from Tidal. But unfortunately none of the tracks will play back. The full category results are there, everything is fast, it loads the playlist, with play times, but does not play the tracks. Playing normal search results in Tidal does not work anymore either, I tried searching for Jay-Z and clicked on first search result, it loads in the playback screen but it does not play back. I tried on otherwise working setups on Squeezelite-X for Windows, and Squeeze Player with Orangesqueeze and Squeezer on Android. Hope this is an easy thing to fix. I wrote Tidal to ask that they provide updated APIs to Logitech, here's what they said (ie. nothing): ... We simply provide an API access and the content so that you are able to stream. We do not have control of how Logitech uses the API and content. Which doesn't provider an answer to your question, does it? Of course they can't tell what we're doing with what they provide. But they didn't say whether they could provide updated information. Unfortunately my recent communication with them has gone silent. 28646 I believe this is updated contact info, there have been numerous articles about Tidal at least in Norwegian newspaper Dagens Næringsliv (dn.no) and also in the Guardian etc. I believe regarding scams where closely associated acts like Beyonce and Kanye West have been robo-given inflated listening figures and therefore income. You think Jay-Z with Beyonce and everything has the time to know what an API is ? :) Tidal was originally a Norwegian streaming service called WiMP, and it's still based in Oslo. Maybe I'll see if I can find their phone number or address. A handwritten letter asking for updated APIs for LMS so my dad can still listen to his timba cubana please ? :D A Christmas present ? Good job Herge on keeping LMS working though - I can't believe Logitech has basically abandoned this, I have tried -every- (believe me) music server on the market and LMS is so far ahead there's no comparison. So dedicated development really stopped 7 years ago ? Horrible thought that they might pull the plug completely at any time. Or, in your opinion, is that a real risk or not ? (btw; unrelated, but: on Android 9 Chrome, clicking "edit" on an already posted post when using this forum brings up the post with "reason for editing" fields and everything and where it looks like it should be able to be edited, however, clicking anywhere in the text of the post brings you immediately to a page that says "invalid link", -and- deletes the original post you were trying to edit entirely! If Logitech indeed has an employee dedicated to LMS - it is mature They don't. There's one employee (me) dealing with all things Squeezebox on the side. I am working 99% on different stuff nowadays. But when there's an issue with mysqueezebox.com etc. I'm the guy dealing with it. Official LMS work is strictly limited to fixing security issues, and keeping it working on new OS versions (Windows & macOS). LMS development officially stopped like 7 years ago. Anything that happened since then is mostly what I consider my community contribution. It is NOT official work. TIDAL actually is a bit of a special case, because at the time they had a great guy staying in touch with us, and allowing me to update the implementation despite lack of official support (thank you, Pal!). But unfortunately he's no longer working for TIDAL. software anyway - then I suggest this employee contacts Tidal, explains the issues and asks for updated APIs so that LMS can get full Tidal search results and functionality. I did. No response. Or failing that, maybe an unofficial Tidal plugin with full functionality ? Every other third-party Tidal interface I've seen fully replicates search results and functionality of official Tidal interfaces (web, desktop, app). That's indeed one option. But there's no public API documentation covering streaming. You'll need to have some legal work done with TIDAL. Good luck with that in an open-source project. I am convinced Tidal would be positive to such a request for updated APIs. Tell them somebody from Norway said so. Since the plugin's page says it was developed by Logitech, I wrote Logitech support and Tidal support. I hesitate to respond again, as I've given you the background already. But you seem not to accept answers you don't like... But I'll try again: whatever the other applications do, I don't know. But as we, Logitech as a company, have a contract with these music services, we are not allowed to use reverse engineered or otherwise not documented features. No response on this? Surely many of you use the Tidal plugin and suffer the same problems? Other third-party software that offers a Tidal interface, e.g. Bubbleupnp, offers all functions and no missing search results. Surely LMS could do the same ? As far as I'm concerned it's the only flaw in LMS, but it's nearly a fatal one. Does anyone know a better place to post this or a way to contact developer? I was extremely happy with discovering Logitech Media Server and see that all the music services I use are there in the same interface. However, I'm noticing more and more missing, from Tidal specifically, which I really on extensively. My mixes is missing. This was a crucial way I used to discover new music. Second, you seemingly can't (or can you ?) add a track playing from Tidal as a Tidal favorite, thereby forming a basis for "My mixes" etc. Third, and worst of all, search results in LMS are severely lacking.For example, do a general Tidal search in LMS for timba artist Maykel Blanco. LMS returns two albums "Soy lo que the hala" and "A toda maquina", plus a few compilations albums where the artist has a song. Searching on tidal.com or with Tidal through BubbleUpNp app gives the full list of the seven Maykel Blanco albums thatt are released. Any chance of fixing this ? Is there a setting somewhere for how long LMS spends searching a specific source that could be extended and maybe fix these problems ? Where could I reach the Tidal plugin developer ?
