I can play the video locally providing I use Gnome Mplayer although the play back is very choppy. Trying to use Mplayer on its own I only get audio, if I try Xine it complains about unsupported codec WVP2 but plays the audio. I have both the win32 and codecs folders in /usr/lib/ and both seem to hold identical files (in fact all files in the codecs folder of symlinked to the win32 folder)and include the wmvadvd.dll file Tim -- Next meeting: Crown Hotel, Blandford Forum, Tuesday 2011-01-11 20:00 Meets, Mailing list, IRC, LinkedIn, ... http://dorset.lug.org.uk/ How to Report Bugs Effectively: http://goo.gl/4Xue
